Eligibility Criteria to Study MBBS in Russia
To be able to study MBBS or an equivalent course in Russia, you must fulfil the following conditions:
- Age: You must be at least 17 years old by 31st December of the year of your admission.
- Class 12 Qualifications: Students must have taken their class 12th exams with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects.
- Class 12th Qualifying Marks: You must obtain at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your class 12th examinations. (Note: This percentage may change as per the college of your choice, make sure to check the requirements before proceeding with application).
- NEET/NExT: Now the NEET and the FMGE exam are replaced by the National Exit Test (NExT), which is a mandatory exam and acts as a gateway to postgraduate admissions and also for getting professional certificate.
Note:- An important point to note here is that the Russian medical university that Indian students choose to study in must be listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) - for them to be eligible for the NExT exam.
