- To be eligible, an applicant must have achieved at least one of the following minimum entry requirements and demonstrate they fulfill any prerequisite and essential criteria for admission:

- Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE)
- Higher education study
- Successful completion of at least 6 months full-time study (or equivalent part-time) at undergraduate diploma (AQF level 5) or higher
- Secondary education (Year 12)
- Upon entry to the program, all students must confirm they meet the Fitness to Practice in Clinical Placements requirements
- Applicants must have successfully completed the All India Senior School Certificate or the Indian School Certificate (Class 12 / 10+2) with an average of at least 95% in the best four approved subjects
- Applicants must have successfully completed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) from an acceptable State Board, with an average of at least 99% in the best four approved subjects
