Deakin University English Language Requirements

Deakin University has specific English language proficiency requirements for international students. The requirements are categorized into four bands: Band A, Band B, Band C, and Band D. For IELTS, the Band A score of 6.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, While for Band B, a score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.5 for each component.  However, for bands C and D, the minimum IELTS score requirements are a little higher, with an overall score of 7.0 in each component. Deakin University Scholarship 2024

 The following are the eligibility criteria: 

To apply for the scholarships, and applicants must: 

• Have achieved at least 65% or equivalent in their previous studies

• Should be eligible to study at Deakin University 

• Should be an international student for coursework degree at the university.

• Successful applicants will receive 25% partial tuition scholarships. 

However, the selection of applications could be competitive and may require scores above the stated minimum requirement.
