The RMIT University consist of 42% of international students, among them 8,098 of them are from South-Asian origin. There is an increase by 1.8% as per the statistics pf 2024. The acceptance rate of RMIT is around 22% for the International students.

The admissions at RMIT University takes place in three intakes. There are 2 main intakes and 1 small intake.

·       Sem 1 (Feb/Early Mar) – offers most of the scholarships also

·       Sem 2 (mid Jul) – most PG Courses available

·       Sem 3 (Sept/Oct or Nov) – limited intake, specific courses

RMIT University does not charge any application fee from the students. The Indian students are expected to apply through uni-assist for verification. It is also now compulsory to give dMat exam for Indian students (if applying for courses in Finance, Business, Engineering, Management and Commerce.
