International applicants planning to apply for BCIT admission must follow the admission process, which is simple if followed carefully. Applicants need to meet the admission requirements as per their programs of choice and fill out the application accordingly to avoid errors. At the end, they would be required to pay the tuition fees. The following are the steps to be followed:
Applicants can explore the huge variety of courses out of 75 programs, offered at both UG and PG levels, which are available for international students and include several areas of study, including Media and Communication, Engineering, Architecture, and Design.
Applicants must stick to the eligibility criteria for the program chosen. For UG, students must have a high school diploma as a basic criterion, and for PG, a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is necessary. Students must also fulfill the English language proficiency requirements.
As per the program chosen, students would need to submit their academic transcripts and English language test scores. They would also be required to submit additional documents like Letters of recommendation, Statements of purpose, personal essays, ACT/SAT scores for UG programs (as required), GMAT/GRE scores for PG programs (as required), updated CV, and work experience, if any.
Once all the requirements are met, documents are submitted, and the application form is filled, students will be required to pay the application fee of CAD 154 (INR 9.8 K), which is non-refundable
BCIT usually takes about 20 business days to process the application and come to a conclusion. The decision will be sent to the student in their student portal or email.
