Canada College is known to have existed since 1968, however, it obtained its teaching permit in the year 2012, from the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science & Technology (MESRST), & also accredited by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education (MEES).
The first course offered by the institute after obtaining its teaching permit was a AEC course in Database Administration (LEA.CC).
