Coast Mountain College is a publicly funded college offering postsecondary educational institutions serving the communities of British Columbia’s northwest region. Coast Mountain College was previously known as the Northwest Community College (NWCC). History
The Coast Mountain College was established in 1975 in Terrace, British Columbia, Canada. The college offers five campuses. With an initiative to make educational offerings more relevant, the college initiated a long-term process to address the existing disconnect between the colleges, the Indigenous students, and communities. The construction of the college began in 1965 and officially opened its doors in September 1968 and initially started with an enrollment of around 295 students. The college was renamed from Northwest Community College to Coast Mountain College in 2018.

- CMTN Foundation Second-Year International Student Award: The international students returning to Coast Mountain College for their second year regardless of the programme are eligible for this scholarship. Students are required to submit an application stating their reasons as to how this scholarship will be beneficial to them and if the student has undertaken any volunteer or community host work. Furthermore, the student must have a GPA of 2.33 and must apply before the deadline stated by the college.
- Uppal Appliances Ltd. Award: The Uppal Appliances Ltd. Award is a scholarship offered by the former Business Administration programme graduate and international student Kapil Verma to aid the future International Business Administration programme students at CMTN. The award can be divided into two with CAD 500 offered per semester as per the CMTN Awards Committee. The international student must have a GPA of 3.0 in the first semester along with the submission of a letter stating the student's future career goals and how the Uppal Appliances Ltd. Award will assist the student in achieving their goals.
The AWU International Student Award is offered to the international students at the college nominated by the Union members. The scholarship is offered by the Academic Worker's Union. For the student to be eligible for the scholarship, the student must be enrolled in the Credit Associate Degree programme and should include programs such as Registered Nurse, Applied Coast Ecology, Social Service Worker, and Early Childhood Care & Education. The award amount offered is CAD 500 (INR 29,744).
