Q:   Does Fleming College offer scholarships to international students?

A: 

Fleming College offers the following scholarships to international students every year that are given as follows:

·       Global English as a Second Language Bridge (ELB) Entry Scholarship- The value of this scholarship is CAD 1,000. The student must have completed atleast one level of Fleming’s English as a Second Language Bridge Programme and has been accepted into a Fleming Diploma or graduate certificate course.

·       Global Merit Based International Student Scholarship- The value of this scholarship is CAD 500 to CAD 2,000. The student will receive this scholarship based on the GPA in their first semester of their Diploma or graduate certificate as well.

·       India Academic Excellence Entry Scholarship- The value of this scholarship is CAD 500. The student should have achieved an overall IELTS score of 8.0 or more as well as a GPA of 75% or more from high school, college or university.

Q:   Does Fleming College give scholarships to international students?

A: 

Yes, Fleming College supports international students in pursuit of higher education and academic excellence. For now, the college is working on a new scholarship structure and the details for the same will be updated soon. International Education Student Scholarship is awarded to full-time international students in any programme at Fleming College with a current GPA of 3.6 or higher. The estimated value of this scholarship is CAD 345 (Around INR 28,000).

Q:   How can international students apply to Fleming College?

A: 

The steps to apply for international students at Fleming College are given as follows:

·       The student must choose a course from the courses that are available at the college.

·       The student must gather the documents that are required for admissions to Diploma and postgraduate courses at the college

·       The students can apply during the Fall, Winter and Spring intakes every year whoch will commence in September, January and May.

·       The student can apply through the Ontario Colleges International Application by first submitting the application fee of CAD 100 which is non-refundable.

·       The student must print the letters of acceptance and confirm the acceptance of an offer after the Confirmation Deposit Payment

·       Lastly, the student must update their personal information on the application

Q:   How long does it take to get an offer letter from Fleming College?

A: 

Fleming College process applications as quickly as it can, with a goal of providing offers within 10 business days of receiving the application. Note that the application processing time can vary because of the number of applicants. If the status has not been received within 30 days of submitting the application, contact International Admissions directly to the specified college email address. International Students at Fleming College who are required to complete a field placement, internship, co-op or clinical placement as part of their studies should have a co-op work permit even if the work is unpaid and whether it is on or off-campus.
