  • Applicants must hold one of the following: 
    • Higher Secondary School Certificate
    • Higher Secondary Certificate
    • Indian School Certificate
    • Intermediate Examination Certificate
    • All India or Delhi Senior School Certificate
    • Pre-University Certificate
  • Subjects required: 
    • English
    • Mathematics
    • Laboratory Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
    • Social Studies or Modern/Classical Language
    • Elective
  • Applicants must get a minimum overall grade of 50% in the required subject areas and this will normally be considered equivalent to no more than two grades less than 50% and a “pass” in all 5 subject areas


Marks - 79/120

  • A minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.


Marks - 58/90

  • A minimum score of 58 in each of the reading, writing, listening and speaking 


Marks - 6.5/9

  • At least a band 6 in reading and writing

Other eligibility criteria
Applicants should be waived off from ELP if they have successful completion of three years of full-time instruction in an English language secondary institution including the completion of English at the Grade 12 or equivalent level.
Conditional Offer


Applicants who are recommended for admission but missing required documents (e.g., proof of English proficiency, confirmation of degree completion, etc.) will be emailed a conditional admission letter and Program of Study form (which may reflect program requirements, names of supervisory committee members, and funding)
