Undergraduate Admission

Students must have Class 12 or Standard XII Board Examination results issued by examination boards, such as ISC, GCSE, AISSCE, etc. For general entry, students should have a minimum average grade of 50% or higher in English Class 12, three academic subjects, and an elective. International students seeking admission to the University of Northern British Columbia are required to meet both the course-specific and general admission requirements. The general admission requirements for Indian students are:

It allows international students to apply for accommodation at UNBC online through the comfort of their home. However, before applying for an accommodation at UNBC, international students must meet the below given conditions. 

• You must be at least 17 years old by the end of your first semester living in UNBC Housing
• To be eligible for Housing you must be registered in a minimum of 1 UNBC course for each semester you live in Residence
• All students under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian sign the Residence Contract
• The Residence Room Deposit (CAD 275/INR 16,794) and the non-refundable Application Fee (CAD 26.50/INR 1,618) is required to complete your application
• Only complete, paid, and submitted applications will be processed
• After you submit your application the university will send you a Housing Offer. You must log back into the portal and accept your Housing Offer to secure your place in Residence
