The campus was good but the dorms were a bit questionable.
Tips: I feel like, it's best to get some knowledge regarding chinese apps, so that your transition is a bit smooth. Also, carry as many Maggi packets as you can, you're going to need that, especially if you're vegetarian you won't find that many choices.
Likes (Student Life): The campus was good, the dorms was a bit questionable. But other than that, each and everything was amazing. The people are very friendly, the usual stereotypes are nowhere near true. The transportation is very convenient, even the payment services.
Dislikes (Part time work): If you're on a student visa, you aren't allowed to work part-time, which I feel like makes sense considering you're a medical student but you can get time out of weekends and do a part time job, that way you can save up some money for yourself. But there's no prospect of any jobs during the whole programme.

The best part of my life.
Tips: Students should prepare for the academic environment and cultural diversity. The transition was fine but I did notice a difference in their lifestyle and especially the food. I got in through the SOLC group members and the allowance is lower than in any country.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport in China, Guangzhou, is highly developed and affordable. Buses, subways and trains are well connected. The most convenient part is you can pay for the tickets through you phones and it's also affordable for students. WeChat makes everything easier.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university didn't allow MBBS students to work a part time job, also it was difficult to find a job being an Indian. Also, being an MBBS student with studies and assignments, I don't think it's a good idea to do a part time job when you can barely get any time for yourself.

Great college for studious ones.
Tips: If you score more GPA every year, you will get a scholarship of 10000 yuan (1lakh INR) at the end of the year. I did not experience any culture shock. The university is good. The country is the safest place you can travel. Even in the middle of the night, you can walk around alone.
Likes (Student Life): The campus life is so good. The university library is my favorite place, it gives us a good study environment. If you are tired you can take a walk, the view is really beautiful and refreshing. There are many student activities arranged. You can travel freely with other Chinese students for study trips. I get to travel to Huizhou and SEE the Chinese traditional tea production unit.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I would like to stay in China, the work and study environment is excellent, but if I take postgraduation from China it's not approved in India. So not looking for permanent immigration. The permanent settlement is also easy if you are interested. You can apply for a Masters in some university that offers courses in English.
