Wonderful campus and great coursework.
Tips: I never felt out of place; our student coordinator guided us through everything.
I did not avail any scholarships as I study in a public university. I am very happy that I got the opportunity to study here. I am getting to learn hands-on and extremely helpful skills.
Likes (Safety): Student life is pretty amazing here. You have a lot to do, no time to get bored.
We celebrate festivals of different nationalities together. Aside from that, we have many innovation hackathons, managers’ talks and other events from time to time.
We also have a sports building here, where people play on a regular basis.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The professors are highly educated and they’re also highly experienced in relevant fields of study. They’re always there to help.
The teaching methodology here is theory+practical. Mainly focusing more on practical, this helps us prepare ourselves for the real world situations. I love the education-system that is followed here.
Our faculty is very diverse. We have professors from many, many countries.

Settling In, Studying, and Staying Safe in Germany.
Tips: The move from India to Germany took some adjusting; the pace of life here is slower and more structured, punctuality and rules matter a lot here, and small talk and socialising are more reserved initially. Bureaucracy was probably the steepest learning curve. I didn't avail any scholarship; rather, I funded my whole study here, but you can get a lot of available scholarships, which are awarded by the German government depending on the academic journey or extra solicited work around. Overall satisfied. TU Clausthal's IM course is more for computer Science students, but it also fits perfectly for students from other fields. The projects and studies do require genuine effort here, as I believe no one wants to just pass and move forward, rather, one must study more in order to get the intricate meaning behind it, including the subjects that complete the degree in that sense, so just studying isn't enough.
Likes (Safety): Well-lit streets and pathways, especially around the student wohnheim, make it feel unsafe to walk out. Emergency well connected to the dorms, and monitoring takes place as well. 1. Well-lit streets and pathways. 2. Emergency call points. 3. Well-connected transportation. 4. Campus wohnheim doesn't allow hostile beings in.
Dislikes (Indian Food): 1. Even though there are a few Indian restaurants and food stores close by, the choice available is limited when compared with that in my native country because some dishes are simply absent, others are just simpler versions, and the prices are comparatively higher than those for local cuisine. The restaurants are: 1. German / Harz specialities, typical of Gasthaus, seasonal food and moderate pricing. 2. Italian – few Italian restaurants other than Pizza and Schnitzel. 10- 15 euros. 3. Bakers – cheap meals for students. 3- 7 euros. I generally cook for myself because it is more economical, and I occasionally dine out.

Academic Excellence, Needs a bit efforts
Tips: The language in which the course is going to be taught. Whether it will be in German or English, and at which level. What are the majors and minor they are offering? Do you offer any scholarships or not? For study purposes, I'm quite satisfied; it's just a bit of a small city.
Likes (Quality of faculty): You can ask anything you didn't understand to your faculty, in particular, in my experience, whatever doubts I have, I normally solve with my faculty members. And they are highly intelligent; they can even help you with any research you are doing in the respective field you are in.
Dislikes (Internships): The city is a bit smaller, so we have to migrate to a bigger city near it. To find more options for internships, basically for me IT. If you find work from home, then it would be better since you won't have to migrate and go to other places.

Historically rich university with focus on all departments.
Tips: The only thing I would like you to know is that do not rush to start your Master's immediately after completing your Bachelor's. Gain some industrial experience and learn German. This would help you a lot after coming here, both professionally and in your daily life.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teaching faculty is pretty diverse. In terms of accessibility to faculty, they are available to help you at each and every stage. You just have to email them for an appointment. The lectures and exercises are conducted every week, which help you to gain insights.
Dislikes (Internships): Guidance is full-fledged. Also, there are internships available that are relevant to the field of study. But the German language requirement is the big stumbling block. If you have good German proficiency and experience in the field of work, you are all set.

Good quality of study with great opportunities.
Tips: Learning the German language is the main priority, and a very good grip on English for study is the main thing. Another thing is to learn cooking and the habit of cleaning one's own things. It's very important to learn everything and to be prepared for everything.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Student life is good while staying in dorms and staying with students from different countries, playing with them, and studying with them. Job opportunities are also good with outstanding payments as part-time student jobs. Good experience as a student here and great opportunities.
Dislikes (Value for money): The faculty is very good with extra knowledge and all, and also with great research options and further Ph.D. opportunities. All the faculty are very good with nature and very helpful and supportive of students. Great respect we are getting being a student.

Best place for self-study and to build a strong academic portfolio.
Tips: The courses and people here are very good and friendly. Projects and reports can be turned into highly valuable research papers and theses. It's a great place if you want to focus on self-study. However, if you want to extend your course and do part-time jobs, taking admission here and living in nearby cities is the best option.
Likes (Safety): This place is safe compared to others. I haven't heard of any theft incidents, except for misplaced parcels. Emergency services, including fire and police, arrive within 5 minutes.
Dislikes (Part time work): The location is on a hillside, and the nearest city for part-time jobs is at least a 40-90 minute commute away. There are also very few part-time job opportunities in the Clausthal area, aside from university positions or assistance roles. Hannover or Braunschweig are more preferable options for students.

Practical learning is incorporated into every subject, and the program is research-focused.
Tips: The travel time is long, and there are limited opportunities nearby. The course design is well-equipped, and the university is well-equipped. Classes are large, and some teachers often delay lectures. Exams are very challenging. Practical learning is incorporated into every subject, and the program is research-focused.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The course structure is good and the teaching is effective. The practical approach to each subject is commendable and exams are well scheduled. While HiWi jobs are available, they are not consistently offered. However, some professors don't teach effectively, and courses are often delayed.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking at home. The food quality outside isn't great and prices are high. There are mostly pizzerias and small cafes and doner is widely available but food isn't cheap. Indian restaurants are also expensive. Decent food costs around 10 euros.

The college provides excellent resources for studying.
Tips: Students should explore all available opportunities and thoroughly assess if the chosen course aligns with their goals. They should also carefully examine the financial implications of pursuing the program as surviving without financial stability is challenging even after admission.
Likes (Safety): The town I lived in had a small population. The police were very cooperative. Safety is a major concern for international students and I experienced no discrimination. Everyone was friendly.
Dislikes (Student Life): It was a good experience. I enjoyed my college days. Everyone was completely friendly and the faculty was really good. The college provides excellent resources for studying which gives students the best possible learning experience.

Professor are really helpful and many universities here are tuition-free.
Tips: Germany is the best option for students, especially those who have some experience in their field of interest, because Germany needs skilled workers and more experienced people. For students who want to come here, they must learn at least the German B1 level. Many universities here are tuition-free. There, you just have to pay a nominal fee for the tuition itself, and you can also easily find a part-time job there, where you can earn money and cover your expenses. Additionally, Germany requires compulsory health insurance, so you don't have to worry about your health. Generally, all international students prefer cooking for themselves because eating outside is more expensive. But of course, you can eat outside 2 or 3 times a month. And for vegetarians, there are fewer options. But for non-vegetarians, there are certainly more options.
