Most days are a mix of studying in the lounge with classmates, finishing up group work, and seeing what student events are going on after class.
The university regularly hosts cultural festivals that showcase the huge mix of international students we have here, along with sports tournaments, workshops, and inter-college meets. Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave permanent settlement a 4 mostly because the job market, lifestyle, and work-life balance are great, plus there’s a fairly straightforward path to staying long-term if you have the right background. Still, dealing with the visa system is a massive headache. It's incredibly competitive, rules change all the time, and the paperwork takes forever.
I think my chances of actually staying are pretty good, as long as I can rack up enough local work experience after graduating and keep my CV in good shape. Being in a field where companies are desperate for people changes everything.

I also managed to land a scholarship just based on my grades. The whole application was zero hassle—literally just uploaded my docs onto the university portal. It chopped off a huge chunk of the tuition fees, which was a massive lifesaver while I was studying.
Likes (Value for money): I gave value for money a solid 5 because, honestly, what you get for the tuition fees is totally worth it. Tips: One thing students should realize is that getting used to the teaching style and the culture here isn't an overnight thing—it takes a minute to find your rhythm, though the campus is honestly really welcoming. I found myself adjusting bit by bit, mostly just getting my head around the lifestyle and how people communicate. As for scholarships, they definitely have them based on your grades, and you can sort that out during your application to help knock a bit off the fees. All in all, I’m really glad I chose this uni and course. The growth and the learning opportunities in this country are just massive compared to what I was used to.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I went with 5/5 for the settlement side of things because the paths to staying here long-term actually make sense. If you’ve got your qualifications and some solid work experience, getting PR feels very doable compared to other places. I’d definitely love to stay here permanently—the career growth is great, but it’s really the stability and the overall lifestyle that sold me on it.
Dislikes (Internships): I gave internships a 4/5 since the uni is actually pretty helpful with pointing you in the right direction. Most of the placements you find actually fit with what we’re studying and are great for getting some real-world experience, but I do wish they had more direct links with companies. It’d be a lot better if there were just more options available to choose from.

Simple and practical learning with great student life.
Tips: The teaching style and the whole culture are just so different from what you're probably used to back home. But the uni is super supportive, so you'll definitely find your feet fast and find a solid group of friends to hang out with.Oh, and if you’re stressed about money, definitely look into scholarships early. They’ve got some good options if your grades are solid or if you just get your foot in the door ahead of time. I actually ended up messaging the campus team when I was applying, and they literally walked me through the whole thing, which saved me a massive headache with the paperwork. Looking back, I’m just really glad I made the jump. The classes are way more hands-on than I expected, the vibe on campus is incredibly safe, and it honestly just feels like a great place to be.

Tips: Look, you need to know that while the college is actually pretty solid for academics and there’s always stuff going on, it’s also a total grind. You've really got to be on top of your time management because trying to balance your studies with internships and everything else gets hectic fast. Honestly no one is going to hand you thr opportunities on a silver platter so you have to be proactive and just grab whatever resources you can find to make it worth it. It’s a lot to handle but it’s a good experience if you’re actually ready to put the work in.
Likes (Student Life): To be honest, the student life here is actually pretty solid because there’s basically always something or other happening, so you aren’t just buried in books 24/7. There’s tons of random clubs and events popping up all the time, which makes it way easier to meet people and just pick up random skills outside the classroom. It gets difficult trying to balance everything sometimes won't lie but it definitely makes the complete experience way more fun than just sitting through lectures all day. It's just a better vibe.
Dislikes (Public transportation): To be fair, the transport here is mostly fine and you can get around to most places without much of a hassle, really. But seriously, rush hour is just a nightmaer as it can get so packed that it's honestly a bit of a joke. There’s definitely still some issues with stuff always running late or some areas just being a massive pain to get to, so it’s not exactly perfect, but it usually gets you where you need to go in the end.
