Bellevue College: An affordable college journey with a plethora of scholarship opportunities.
Tips: Please choose a staying option near the college. It's hard to travel in the cold and the rain and the gloomy weather conditions. I'm pretty satisfied with my course. I was able to get three scholarships. You have to talk to people in the college and be on the lookout/hunt for opportunities.
Likes (Value for money): I was able to land 3 scholarships. My college allowed me to travel to Mexico and Costa Rica for free because I wrote essays for the same. I was also able to land a 1000 Dollar scholarship by Amazon. Overall, there are plenty of opportunities in the college. I was also able to work on campus as a Student Ambassador and English Tutor which helped me cover costs.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Because of the job market and saturation of the tech sector in the US, it was hard for me and my friends to land an internship in the US. The job roles that are generally offered are Software Engineer Intern, and the pay depends on the company. Some companies pay $47 per hour, and some pay biweekly.

Expensive city but great college.
Tips: I was surprised by how accepting, fun, and innovative the vibe in SFO was. People are always creating, and if you're a passionate individual or interested in teaching, you'll fit right in. The weather is also really nice, but travelling within the US is expensive and takes around 5-6 hours by air, so your options are limited. Rent is also extremely high, so find someone to share with and learn to budget.

Diverse campus and a vibrant student life.
Tips: I initially thought this university and life here would revolve around tech and startups, but after spending some time here, I realised how truly versatile the campus and its people are. I've met artists, activists, and techies all under one roof. I also received a partial department scholarship of around 1500 USD, which helped cover some basic expenses. You should come with an open mind and trust the process a little.

Vibrant student life and academically oriented university.
Tips: My JEE rank and my interest in Physics helped me choose Mechanical Engineering. The transition had been both exciting and challenging. While I thought that the curriculum might seem irrelevant for real world scenarios, it was on par for future academic pursuits. Most of the teachers used PowerPoint presentations for teaching, which is quiet, but I personally would prefer the old-fashioned chalk and board method. However, the classes were highly engaging and interactive. The frequency of the exams was perfect. There are part-time opportunities, but it can take some time to figure it out. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
