MS in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019
5
A financial friendly option for every aspirant to fulfill his/her dreams
Tips: Prepare that your ultimate goal in United States is to excel professionally. Keep in my mind that most of you are going to come to States for graduate-level courses, and you will land a better job if the US market is favourable. So the majority of your success is dependent on your city and not your college.
Likes (Quality of faculty): A regular day in college start depending on you courses. At Masters level all your major classes will be scheduled during night time to accommodate all the part-time work that you will have in the morning. College has a good recreational area which is where I spent most of my days apart from academia.
Dislikes (Part time work): Faculty members are pretty much approachable and accessible. Also the teaching and methodology are helpful and guiding. University is pretty diverse in nature and serves as an opportunity to interact with multiple people of different ethnic backgrounds with a welcoming nature.

Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2022
Offered by Lamar University

Friendly college with sports facilities.
Tips: This college has good academic facilities with labs etc. It is good for students in all courses. The faculty is very friendly plus there are high chances of getting GTA. There are other aspects too like sports. Academically, this is a good college.
Likes (Public transportation): Well, the university is equipped with bus services that work great for transportation. Believe me, I didn't feel a need to even get a car apart from getting groceries and going out. It is very well connected by bus service which is also free for students.
Dislikes (Value for money): I believe it is the best investment . I got GTA ( Graduate Teaching Assistant Scholarship) too easily in my course. So overall I spent less money on my graduate studies. For this reason, it has been a value for money university. All my tuition fees were covered and I had to spend very less money on my studies.
