Budget friendly School - CSU San Bernardino

Tips: Students should know their living arrangements before moving to the school to avoid last minute hotel stay. Apart from that, students need to stay alert about the on campus job options through Handshake where you can see all the job options at School. Connect with your seniors through LinkedIn from your Program to know the insights of the program and the School.

Likes (Value for money): CSU San Bernardino has pretty affordable fess for all the international students. This is the main reason most of student came to this School. For me, CSUSB was only school that was accepting credits from my previous school. Transportation is free for students through bus in San Bernardino.

Dislikes (Safety): San Bernardino has highest crime rate, though because of COVID I only got to attend 1 semester in person. Personally, I didn't feel safe to roam around in San Bernardino alone, especially in the Down-town area. Of course, School area is safe so don't worry much.

California State University San Bernardino offers a variety of accommodation options to international students through its three villages; Arrowhead Village, Coyote Village, and University Village. Arrowhead Village is a unique living and learning community offering students all the comforts of home. Arrowhead Village provides an apartment-style living experience to continuing (returning) and transfer students. Coyote Village - a co-ed, traditional-style residence hall - opened in Fall 2018 and is available to first-year CSUSB students during the 2023-2024 academic year. And, University Village is an apartment-style community for continuing students who desire convenience and the comforts of home. This scenic and beautiful living community includes 132 fully furnished units with a choice of three different floor plans. The cost of living for international students will vary from student to student and depend on various factors such as lifestyle and type of accommodation.
