Perfect balance of working hard on the coursework and exploring the natural beauty of California.
Tips: Apart from adapting to American culture, everything is pretty easygoing and people are friendly and helpful. I haven't heard of any scholarships for international undergraduates during my time. The course is really satisfying, and there is great exposure for students. The alumni network is good too. The town where I studied was a safe, small college town. Police patrols were common to keep the area safe. I did not experience any sort of crime here that I saw happening in other bigger cities in the US. There are lots of helplines available for various things, and the University has a separate police department.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I didn’t really like the Indian food in San Luis Obispo. There isn’t really an Indian grocery store there, so it was hard to cook Indian food on my own. I normally order Indian food in if I’m busy, but once I’ve eaten all the takeout Indian food around here, I try to cook my own. The grocery stores there have all kinds of herbs and spices, so I have no problem cooking good Indian food at home.

Tips: Before joining RIT, students should be aware of various things, including internship opportunities, living expenses, university faculty, and the program outcome. Professors help get RA/TA positions, and that helps a student's profile stand out. There are many on-campus jobs available, including RAS and TAS, that students can apply for through the college's online portals. The professors are helpful, too. The university does a good job of letting students know about available jobs. In addition, the research experience you get as an RA or TA gives you an edge when you're applying for internships.
Dislikes (Internships): The university has portals where students can apply for internships. The university helps students with their applications and with resume building. There are also research assistantships and teaching assistantships available for students, and this research experience helps them with their future careers. Internships showcase your profile.

Tips: Stressful academics and apart from this everything will be soothing in the college. Very helpful faculty members and good part-time job opportunities, one more good thing about this university is it offers co-op (CPT) which most of the universities won't support.
