Flexible culture with ups and downs.
Tips: The university does have good potential and facilities but lacks in terms of reputation and long term prospects. Most of the focus is on theory so you will have to be someone who can cope up with that form of learning. The good part is that you get a lot of freedom and flexibility here as compared to several other places.

Tips: Cardiff Metropolitan University has a more open minded and straightforward path to education. Scholarships are available based on merit and a solid statement of purpose so make sure you read through all the terms and conditions while applying so you can potential get some kind of aid as well. Professors are very helpful and passionate which makes classes more enjoyable. Limited Indian restaurants.

It has been a great journey so far and I will recommend it to everyone.
Tips: It is the best university in the budget. Everything is on track, the staff is very supportive. It depends on the course though. This university is very good for technical courses like Engineering etc so yeah if you want that then come. Apart from that business courses are really good as well.
Likes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking myself but there are lots of food options available, but i will suggest eating at home as the food outside costs a lot of money. So come prepared from home and learn some dishes from youtube and your family as well. Eat clean and healthy.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is guidance available. The career team is really good and you can book 1 on 1 sessions with the career team as well. But you need to be talented and have good command on the language and actively look for jobs and work hard. If you are in the UK for labour work then that is a different issue you can go to any random university then.

Satisfied with Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Tips: I think students will not face any cultural shift and discrimination. Personally, I didn't experience much difference in cultural things and food varieties as well. I haven't got any scholarship over here but students can apply. I am very satisfied with my university and with the faculty members as well. They are highly qualified and kind.
Dislikes (Public transportation): I myself live near the campus, so for me, it's not so far to travel to the university. But the campus is very beautiful and cheerful. Public transportation is also very good and not so expensive. In fact, the campus is very well connected to the rest part of the main city. It's so big and beautiful.

Tips: It is important to select a good course. Course modules in your course should be of your interest. Choose good student accommodation before coming here. Follow the UK immigration rules. Cardiff Metropolitan University is the best University I have ever seen.
Tips: Before coming here be prepared to book accommodation, buy clothes and food to be safe for two months without spending much outside. Please be careful while coming into this University and feel safe here as you will get a lot of help and support from University office.
Likes (Safety): Student life is best as you will get everything here. You will make new friends plus will enjoy Cardiff. Cardiff student life is best you will get lots of discounts as a student, even vouchers to spend and save money. You will find beaches to enjoy one of them is Barry Island and the other is Cardiff bay.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Faculty members are very helpful, supportive and will solve your problems if you are stuck anywhere. Based on your course, faculty are very good at teaching. Please see the courses you want to enroll at this University. And marking criteria is best for this University.

Tips: This is a very teaching focused university where you can expect to learn way beyond what is covered in textbooks especially if it's an academic program like mine. We go through a lot of case studies and research methods as well as modules. Lecturers are helpful and approachable. It can get a little hectic at times.

The campus is by far better than other colleges like Kaplan and Murdoch
Tips: Look, the whole experience was pretty mediocre. Sure, the degree has some value since it's technically from a public uni in Australia. But if you are from a normal middle-class family honestly, just skip it. The reality on the ground in Singapore is rough—you are not even legally allowed to work a part-time job on a student visa. On top of that, trying to land a full-time role after graduating as an Indian national is next to impossible. Companies have strict local hiring quotas, and those slots are always completely maxed out.
The only reason to choose this place is if you just want a decent brand name on your CV and money doesn't matter at all, because honestly, almost everyone on campus is loaded. The only real upside is if you're terrified of visa rejections. This place is a total loophole for that and the approval rate is basically a guaranteed 100%.
Likes (Public transportation): One of the best public transport systems in the world. Most of the apartments have a bus stop right below the houses. The city is well connected with bus routes and metro lines. The public transport will cost you at max 5 SGD for a return journey. Where you are, taking a cab will cost you a minimum of 10 SGD for a single ride.
Dislikes (Part time work): Only students from public universities are allowed to work part-time. Private university students have no work rights. Some Indian representative might tell that their university is about to sign MOU (international students can work) with the government, which is a lie.

Singapore has a lot of security within the country to ensure public safety.
Tips: If you want to enjoy college life without much stress, this college is preferable. However, if you want to focus on academics, you must look for NUS and NTU to secure jobs within the country. Union has a lot of extracurricular activities which are governed by students.
Likes (Safety): Singapore has a lot of security within the country to ensure public safety. So far, I have not had any bad experiences from staying there. Also the likelihood of theft is very low and near zero. Public transportation is available throughout the country and is reliable and on time.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Singapore has tightened opportunities for foreigners by limiting the S and E pass for immigrants. Unless you are from a local university the chances of securing a job is minimum. Also, as this is a private union, you don't have part-time opportunity.

Safe country and helpful people.
Tips: You do not have to be worried about making friends and adjusting in classes, even if you are an introvert, the people around you and the lecturers are very nice and reach out to you first to help you adapt easily. You also improve and learn a lot of new skills from hands on experience and through the different clubs available here.
Likes (Safety): Singapore is one of the safest countries to stay in. As a girl, I feel safe going for a walk at 2 am and face no issues. There are always police on patrol and they are very active and as the rules are strict, it is a very safe place to stay in. You can leave your phones, laptops, and bags around and no one will steal it, if you come back later it will be exactly where you left them.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It is very hard to get a PR or citizenship in Singapore but it is possible to stay there for a long time with a long term visa or a work visa. You will not get the benefits of a pr or a citizen through these visas. Also if you enter as a student you are not allowed to work in Singapore as it is illegal so you can stay as long as your student pass is available only.

Tips: Students must know the current ongoing scenario concerning job offers and the country being flexible towards students working part-time. The toastmasters programme would help students connect with faculty members.
Likes (Safety): Considering Singapore’s strong rule and safety. The country makes it a safe place for students to study and work as well. A strong department in the country that checks even the students' passports on the go makes it completely safe and avoids illegal entry. Strong economic policies.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent migration is quite a challenge unless there is strong support and a reference in the study country due to opposing government policies in migrants working in their country. The country was quite tough on migrants setting up during 2012. The salary structure is quite low compared to other countries.

JCU is a university that rewards you for what you put into it.
Tips: You can get a lot of scholarships/bond to lower the cost of tuition fees at JCU. I think I'm pretty adaptable, so transitioning to living in Singapore was not a problem at all, and while there have been highs and low lows, all in all, I'm quite happy with my university life. The faculty is very diverse and quite friendly. The course material taught is a great balance between practical and theoretical knowledge.
