Q:   When was the University of Nottingham established?

Nottingham’s first civic college was opened in the city centre in 1881, four years after the foundation stone was laid by former Prime Minister, W E Gladstone. It was decided by the city council that the college should be provided with £4,000 per year. After the first world war, the original college building was built. A generous gift of 35 acres of land at Highfields by Sir Jesse Boot in 1928 gave the college its main campus, University Park. Finally, in 1948, the college was awarded the Royal Charter and became The University of Nottingham. It was now able to award degrees in its own name. University of Nottingham- Review
Tips: Make a list of everything you need. Plan out your weekly expenses. Stop covering GBP to INR while buying because it would trouble you and would make you conscious of what you are spending. In reality, you cannot help it. These are the basic things you need. Please try to make sure you study more about the course before applying and look at the disadvantage and advantage as well. Don't get swept up by the beauty of the country.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport is always available and easily accessible at any time of the day or night. It's 2 pounds per person but if you buy a group ticket with one or two people, it lessens your expenses and it's better to buy on the app because the ticket would remain for 24 hours.
Dislikes (Internships): Not many internship opportunities during the course. The course does not offer you opportunities per se. It does offer some project-based opportunities though which adds up on your CV but overall there are no hospital-based internships or case studies.
