The short and beautiful experience of my education at Cranfield University
Tips: Yes, the college is extremely diverse in nature, so you can experience all sorts of cultures that shapes your world. College is extremely liberal and also has support groups for LGBTQ+ community.
I did avail a scholarship. I got it from the University, I had to apply it by sending a mail to the course director. The process involves a simple interview about your work experiences and how much do you know about the course and subjects you would be taking as part of the course.
I'm quite satisfied with the course.
Likes (Value for money): The university ranks among the best across the world for Engineering and Management courses, and for £30,000 fees, I think it's worth it, especially when you compare the fees you might be paying in similar ranked universities in USA or Canada.
Also, there are plenty of scholarships available for every course, so you could easily get a scholarship (ranging from £1000-£20000).
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time employment opportunities are scarce for students because the campus of the university is located in a village. There are just two stores and one student pub/cafe, which offer part-time employment opportunities, but they are often taken up by PhD students. So, you have to look for part-time employment opportunities off campus in Bedford and Milton Keynes. Lots of part-time employment opportunities are available. In particular, lots of warehouse part-time employment opportunities are available. Minimum wages are available from most of the part-time jobs, but the warehouse jobs, being plenty in number, will give you some extra bucks. So, you will be able to earn about 1000 pounds per month. The courses offered in the university are difficult and require hard work. Hence, part-time jobs are not recommended, especially in the initial 5 months.

A good University to specialize in some subjects not for some.
Tips: The university is located in a very peaceful countryside, so students can focus on their studies well without any distraction. But at the same time, it's very hard to find things to do nearby. Transportation is a bit of a hassle, as bus services are very sparse to the university and the nearby town. On the academic side, it's a completely postgraduate university focusing on applied skills and has a lot of research facilities. They do provide scholarships, which can be applied for during the application process. Overall, I am satisfied with the level of education provided and also with other facilities available at the university.

Transformative Experience at Cranfield
Tips: Quite a fantastic experience. It was a huge culture shift at first, but a good one. I received a bursary of about 2000 pounds, which I had to request from the admissions team by emailing them after I received my offer letter. I am very happy with Cranfield University and the UK. I have grown personally and professionally.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty is accessible and approachable. The course and the modules are very heavily industry-focused, which is amazing. In my time, the faculty was a mix of British, Asian, and European, and they also had visiting faculty from different disciplines who gave guest lectures.
Dislikes (Value for money): It is a fantastic course, and the university is great. However, post-graduation support isn't the best. They do have a career team, but they aren't very helpful in preparing you to land a job. They will, however, help you curate your CV and prep for interviews and all that, but if you're new to the system, you have to figure out a lot on your own.

Fulfilling and memorable experience at Cranfield University
Tips: Absolutely wonderful and memorable time getting to sit and learn and study in the Libraries with mates. Traveling to nearby towns and cities to shop and have a lot of fun. I was not able to avail myself of scholarships, however, they were available. I am relatively satisfied with my course, and I do miss staying in the UK.
Likes (Indian Food): Lots of Indian food available in and around Cranfield. Going north to Bedford, there are many authentic Indian restaurants that have really great food for good value for money. And down in Milton Keynes, there are markets filled with Indian groceries that will cater to Indian students very well.
Dislikes (Value for money): Coming from India, we expect the same type of teaching that happens. However, it is nowhere near the same level. We often overestimate the type of teaching that happens. It's mostly self-taught, but the approachability of professors makes it easier. We learn a lot, however, as the courses enable us to practically use our knowledge. Since we are international students, the feels is very high and doesn't justify the difference.

MBA - Full Time - Batch of 2028

Only masters university in the UK
Tips: The course is really hectic and has a heavy curriculum to cover. Specialized University of Engineering and Technology. All the courses at cranfield has unique structure that not only focuses on theory but also provides practical exposure, such as projects, research, and internships.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Because faculty focus more on research and practical work, they help in connecting with the right employers. The student-to-faculty ratio is relatively lower than at other universities, so students get maximum personal attention. Faculty also help students with their dissertation
Dislikes (Part time work): Because of Cranfield's location part time jibs are not available anywhere close to the university. The course is also designed in a way that it's very hectic for the students, especially for science and technology that they don't have time to do part-time jobs.

Academic centric
Focussed on its reputation and network of industries.
Tips: They must know that this college is in a suburban area. Though its QS ranking is very high, they will have limited options for a good-quality student life because the city is not Manchester or Liverpool. Though it has a small network of people, reaching out to them is easier compared to Russell Group universities. It has a good consortium with industries and companies, so getting to work with them would be possible with good recommendations.
Likes (Part time work): The availability of part-time jobs is high because of nearby accessible cities. Also, students can easily work, but remember it doesn't have to be a technical role. I would still suggest looking for Russell Group universities because of better technical role part time jobs.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I believe the engagement with faculty could be better, especially for technical paper publications. I found that unless it's an industry-sponsored project, faculty would not go out of their comfort zone for students' development. Lab-based work by technical faculty is the most supportive.

Cranfield university: insights from an UK based student
Tips: As I am already based in the UK, I transitioned quite smoothly with regard to culture. I obtained a merit scholarship due to my high undergraduate grade, and that was a £2000 deduction from my overall course fees. Overall, very satisfied with the university and the course.
Likes (Student Life): Although the college is in a rural area, everything on campus feels relatively close together, so you will likely build familiarity with a lot of people, and that enhances your student life as you feel you are part of a tight knit community. There are student societies for different interests and cultures, e.g., Indian society, etc.
Dislikes (Part time work): There is not a huge array of shops on campus, so part-time work opportunities on campus are limited. Most part-time job opportunities are found in the neighbouring cities of Bedford and Milton Keynes, which are both a 10-15 minute drive away from the main campus.

Cranfield: Silently producing achievers
Tips: This is a postgrad only university, and not very happening like other unis. If you want a peaceful life and are only into studying, then you will really enjoy the time. You will be surrounded only by like-minded, mature people. There were no exams in my course, and everything was hands-on and research-oriented. One thing to keep in mind more recently is that Cranfield will be becoming part of King's College London if the merger is successful by August 2027.
Likes (Safety): There is nothing going on on the campus. It is almost always vacant and empty. Heard of foxes are more dangerous than humans there. Adequate security is provided in the library and accommodation, too. So you can have long walks on campus without worrying too much.
Dislikes (Part time work): Cranfield is located in the middle of nowhere. There are no shops or bars to do part-time jobs. Very few people who live in Milton Keynes or Bedford can get a job, but those cities are far from campus. So, you have to prioritise campus convenience or part-time work.

Great university, good diversity.
Tips: Good university, decent education but you have to put a lot efforts on your own and don't hesitate to ask professors for help, always stay connected with them and ask doubts and help. Transportation might be a challenge, as it's in a village. Lovely environment.
Likes (Post study jobs): Personally, I have met and talked to people who have gotten a job after completing their degree. And there are a lot of job opportunities in my sector, supply chain management. But having a little bit of experience, at least somewhere between 1 and 3 years, helps a lot, and the chances of getting a job here increase.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Getting permanent settlement in the UK has never been simple, but it’s getting harder. Between tighter immigration rules, rising costs, and a lot of paperwork, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) can feel like a goal that keeps moving away from you.
The salary bar keeps rising. The Home Office has pushed up the income requirements for visa holders. The baseline for a Skilled Worker visa, which you need to hold on the road to ILR, is £41,700 a year, or the higher “going rate” for your occupation. For someone early or mid-career, that’s a steep number to hit.
Employers are wary. Sponsoring a non-UK worker means licence fees, legal obligations, and the Immigration Skills Charge on top of the salary. Plenty of companies decide it isn’t worth the hassle and hire locally, which leaves far fewer sponsored roles for international candidates.
One disruption can cost you years. Settlement generally needs five continuous years on an eligible work visa. If you lose your job or switch employers, you have a tight window to find a new sponsor. Miss it, and the clock can reset.
The fees add up. Visa applications, the health surcharge, and the final ILR application can run into thousands of pounds per person. And with the rules changing so often, you can’t be sure the finish line will be where it was when you started.
If you already know you’ll return to India, though, the maths looks different. You can spend your time in the UK earning well, gaining international experience, and building your career, without taking on the cost and stress of chasing settlement.

UK EDUCATION IN 2026, A JOURNEY TOWARDS DEBT BUILDING
Tips: If you are coming with the dream of having a job straight out of campus after your Master's, well, it's not like that. Definitely, Cranfield is excellent with all the practical as well as theoretical exposure and industry exposure, which is good if you don't have an education loan and are not looking for a job in the UK.
Likes (Safety): Cranfield has its own security team, which is professionally equipped and well-trained to deal with any situation. 24*7 patrolling of the campus is done by Cranfield security to ensure safety on the campus. Also, the campus itself is in an isolated location, with only students present, so there isn't any safety concern as such.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Since there is a variation in the visa policies every year, looking out for a job has been quite tough for international students. Upon interacting with the recruitment division of the largest aerospace firm in the UK, it became evident to me that "We take only the British CVs. Rest all get rejected on the spot." The above statement speaks volumes about the situation in hand regarding job opportunities. Even if somehow you succeed in grabbing a job, you will do the job on a contractual basis. PEOPLE TALK WITH A LOT OF PRIDE ABOUT THIS ASPECT, BUT THE REALITY BEHIND THIS IS SOMETHING ELSE. AFTER ONE OR TWO YEARS, YOU HAVE TO LEAVE FOR YOUR COUNTRY.

A high ranking university but a low ranking country
Tips: Scholarships are merit based, but you can always try and reach out to them if you need an additional financial support from them and they might consider it. In terms of cultural shock I think it was the general shift in culture from India to the UK but I think it wasn't too difficult because there were a lot of other Indians on campus so it was much easier and quite exciting. Another shock was college placements. Unlike in India companies do not come to the university to high students, instead the students applied to the companies individual. The course is highly ranked in the UK and the modules were quite intense but doable. The country is good but in terms of job is facing a little difficult now and is quite competitive.
Likes (Safety): Even though it is quite far off from the city I did not face any problems in terms of safety and the security team is always grounds late in the night as well. Security is always available on call. We do have a well-being centre on campus so it's not just about physical safety but also mental safety that they look after Milton Keynes is the closest city but it takes one hour by bus to travel and there have been a few cases where you have to be careful. I luckily have not had any bad experiences in the city except the untimely of buses.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The government of the UK has been bringing in new and strict changes in the visa, sponsorship, and ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) rules that make it more difficult for international students to stay abroad/settle down in the UK. Permanently immigrating to this country is an individual decision; however, I have decided to not settle down here, but that is up to one's own perspective and what they wish to do career-wise. If I did want to get a permanent settlement in this country, I would have to get an ILR, which takes from 5 to 10 years of living in this country, after which you would be given an ILR.

t's a technical university that's located in a quiet, isolated place surrounded by nice people.
Tips: Sometimes it may be frustrating with the transportation, but usually it's not an issue. People are mostly friendly and the place is nice and quiet considering it's in an isolated place. Milton Keynes is not far, so it's all good. Good, recommended for a technical university.
Likes (Safety): Cranfield University is a safe place because the university has an airport within its borders. Cars are not allowed to enter the university unless they go through the airport security checkpoint. Also, university housing is safe.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Transportation services at this university are not very good. There are no trains on campus; only buses and Uber are available. This can pose a problem when buses are cancelled or postponed. If we have something important to do, we often have to take an Uber.

Great university to study aviation and explore your potential.
Tips: The course is diverse with people from different countries. The course is well structured and the faculty are approachable and knowledgeable about the industry. All the assignments push you and make you learn about the industry and get you ready to land a full-time job in the industry. The group work gives you a chance to apply everything you learn. Scholarships are very limited for Indian students and therefore we have to pay the whole fee mostly. However, it is worth the investment. The academic experience along with the friends I have made along the way has immensely contributed to my personal growth and I look forward to becoming a part of the industry soon. In my opinion, Cranfield is one of the best places to do a course related to aviation. With its industrial connections and state-of-the-art facilities, you will surely get the best education across the globe. I am just happy that I chose to come to Cranfield instead of other choices. Make sure you make international friends, and also connect well with industrial experts you meet during the course as it will help you get a job. Be careful with your expenses and spend wisely as the UK can be a bit expensive. Be independent and ready to step out of your comfort zone. Be ready to travel by bus frequently as Cranfield is a bit away from the main city nearby and plan your shopping trips wisely to save time.
Likes (Student Life): The college is a very happening place with regular career fairs, events and course classes. All the classes are engaging and assignments are challenging. You get to be involved in a lot of group work throughout your course which helps you get international exposure. Also, Cranfield has the CSA where there are parties every Friday. Though it is small, it has a bar, lounge, a small restaurant and an arcade and billiards area inside. During stressful times, it's the place to let loose and have a good time with friends. Also, there are a lot of clubs like for example cricket and badminton clubs with a lot of Science clubs and ethnic clubs as well. On the whole, the campus is the best place to spend time and make good memories. However, Cranfield as a whole is a bit silent and isolated but with the right company, you can have a great educational and fun time.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time opportunities are available around the area in Cranfield, Cranfield Village and Milton Keynes. However, the chances of getting one are challenging and have to put in a lot of applications so it is good to take a part-time as soon as you come however, the technical courses are time-consuming and it's best to focus on the course. It would take extreme time management to shuffle between both and it might be stressful. Most part times pay the national wages.

It was wonderful, enriching experience at Cranfield.
Tips: Cultural shift was calling professors by their names without any prefix or suffix. I received a bursary along with my offer letter. I got around 3500 GBP as a bursary. I am very satisfied with my course and I would strongly recommend the course and the university. Anyone passionate about food, agriculture or sustainability can take this course.
Likes (Indian Food): On campus there are places to eat offering multi cuisine (6-7gbp).
A lot of takeaway options are available and delivery which are on the pricier side. There are takeaway vans inside campus offering decent and affordable food. There is a local market in the city centre where all types of food at very minimal prices are available. Mostly I used to cook, occasionally eating out or taking delivery.
Dislikes (Internships): There is career centre which keeps updating about jobs and opportunities available. They help in correcting and improving CV and resume, and preparing for interviews. There are internships relevant to my course. However, the schedule is so tight it's difficult to do an internship along with the course work and part time job.

Academically oriented, multi-cultural and research focused university.
Tips: The transition is not that difficult. This is a multi-cultural community. The scholarships are a bit of a tough ask and the prospective students should search for options other than university to secure a scholarship. Overall, the university is good.
Likes (Public transportation): The buses and cab service is good. The campus is located in between Bedford, the old city and Milton Keynes, a new and hustling city centre connected by buses that usually ply hourly via the campus bus stop. In addition, the national coachway is just a few kilometres away from where the buses depart for every major city and airport in UK.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The immigration rules are getting tougher and the companies seem to be hesitant to offer sponsorship. Moreover, there seems to be a sort of saturation in the market. There are career fairs organised by the careers team and also frequent Webinars with industry people, though it is not a straightforward hiring process. It is just an interaction with the people from the industry.

Okayish University, Not that great but better than many.
Tips: For people who are adventurers, this university is not your cup of tea. You will meet a lot of people initially but due to course, all will be busy with their job applications, thesis, and projects. For my course M.Sc. in Advanced Mechanical Engineering I am utterly dissatisfied as my projects are entirely based on only literature review and no lab even after paying 22 lakhs only for tuition fee. This university is a good place only for some courses and the QS university rankings for this course are not even related to what's being taught here. I still don't know how was this university ranked 27 in the world for Mechanical Engineering subject wise. Honestly speaking if anyone wants to come to the UK in this year and next year, please rethink it, as the fee has tremendously increased and I personally felt it is not worth paying that much for this university or any other university apart from some top university in the world.

Join this university only you're financially stable and if you can give your 100% in academics.
Tips: The only mistake I made and you all should be aware of before coming to UK is book your accommodation as early as possible and always ask the land lord to provide wriiten documents for the same. Apart from this, it was quite easy for me to adapt with everything. Keep in mind that you should avoid bringing lot many winter cloths as they won't be of much use. You can easily purchase waterproof winter jackets and boosts from TESCO, not to expensive.
Likes (Safety): If you're planning to stay in-campus then you can be positive about campus security as university is few smiles away from the main town and is covered with CCTV cameras all around. Also, computing is easy and safe because city buses are available in every 10 minutes. You can always purchase e-tickets.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is very difficult to do any kind of part time job as the schedule of university is very hectic. Even in your free time you will get alot assignments and presentations to work on. Also, in my case things were very different as it was pandemic situation and most of the classes were shifted from classroom to zoom link.

College is reputable but it is situated outside the city, so student life is not that happening.
Tips: Fees is high and getting part time is not easy. As soon you reach here search for part time even in Milton keynes preferably. For M.Sc. in finance and management course, internship will be provided to top 10 students but that will not be a paid internship. Also, top 10 students will get scholarship for CFA Exam. Basically in term 1, focus on getting higher rank. Networking is the key to land a job. Don't come here thinking that it is a high rank college so you will get a job.
Likes (Safety): Campus is safe. I have seen people coming from part time late at night. The last bus service is around 11 pm. Girls roam around the campus even at 2 AM. There are many students that say they feel comfortable on campus. Milton Keynes is also safe. Bedford is not safe at night. So avoid roaming in Bedford.
Dislikes (Value for money): Tuition fee is high. Last year it was 25000 pounds approximately but for the year 2022-2023, they have increased to 32000 pounds. With current market situation and recession going on in United Kingdom, it is not easy to get full time job. Also, prices of on-campus accommodation are relatively high as compared to other universities.

I received a slight scholarship which helped me save on tuition as well but despite this, the cost of living is pretty high so be prepared.

The faculty is great and the teaching is amazing.
Tips: I think that before coming to this university, everyone should know that this is not a party school. There is not a lot happening. There will be a lot of Arabic people in the university, as Dearborn is an immigrant settlement community. Education, places, everything is related to cars. The faculty is great, the teaching is amazing, and the style of education is great. I believe they provide great insights into the educational and going ahead corporate lifestyle. They provide a lot of projects and have great methods of teaching. There is no public transportation. There are buses, but they run very slowly. There’s also a shared cab service called Flex, but it is expensive, has a long wait time of 30 minutes, and only covers a small area. This is one of the worst aspects of this place.

MS Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

University of Michigan is multi dimensional with good academics.
Tips: Students should not stress about their studies or other things, as things will happen automatically. Instead, students should be active and explore as many things as they can. There are almost 20 activities offered each week at the college, and students should participate in them all.
Likes (Post study jobs): There are many companies available which are providing visa sponsorship. Students can get good jobs with a good paycheck if they have some domain knowledge and expertise. All sectors are good here to get some good jobs but mainly, automotive and electrical.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The public transportation system at the University of Michigan is not very well connected, and there are very few options available. Students mostly use the college shuttle bus to get to and from campus or go shopping. Other than that, students can't rely on public transportation and have to book a cab, as there is no other option.

Thriving in a diverse and challenging academic environment.
Tips: Students should be prepared for a rigorous academic environment, plenty of extracurricular activities, and a diverse student body. Time management is crucial to balance coursework and activities. The transition was smooth but adapting to Michigan's weather and a more independent, fast-paced academic life required adjustment. The diversity on campus made cultural adaptation easier. I got a teaching assistant position, which covers my tuition completely and offers a generous stipend on top. I'm highly satisfied with the University of Michigan's academic rigour and opportunities. The courses are challenging but rewarding, and the US provides ample avenues for professional growth.
Likes (Public transportation): Ann Arbor is a college town, so the city is built around the campus itself. There are two kinds of buses running throughout the day, one is public buses run by the city, and the second are buses run by the university itself. Both of these are free for students.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fee is on the higher side for the University of Michigan, especially considering that it is a public university. For engineering programs, that fee may be somewhat justified due to the career outcome, but for other programs, it is not at all financially a good decision.

Interesting and one of a kind University.
Tips: It is important to make sure of your safety by being aware about your locality and potential danger owing to the crime rate. My experience has been positive as the locals are friendly and there are student friendly options to explore as well. You should also try to be a part of the communities and campus culture as that can help you further in social engagement.

It truly changed my life for the better
Tips: A very well-balanced university for a range of fields. There are many opportunities to engage with interests outside your main field of study. Great options to save on living costs. If you enjoy a small-town life with pretty much most amenities, Ann Arbor is a great choice.

Loved every bit of my time at this University
Tips: People are very kind and friendly in Ann Arbor. I am very satisfied with the university with the courses provided and the research opportunities available. My suggestion is to try and reach out to professors early so that you can avail the opportunity to participate in research.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Companies willing to sponsor are decreasing gradually for the Automotive field. Opportunities are available in different roles, and compensation is very good and is different from company to company. Compensation is also varied on any previous work experience.

Great University Experience
Tips: The faculty and student body are some of the best in the world. The academics and project work have a perfect balance. The cherry on top is that you will find a group of people that have the same interests as you no matter what your hobbies are. The sports are also amazing here.

Weather here will take time adjusting to.
Tips: The winters are too cold and it's not easy at first but you get used to it. I am satisfied with the course and the country. Getting a scholarship for international students is difficult but not impossible. I take care of my rent and food and all the expenses with the part-time job and only need to worry about the college fees.
Likes (Part time work): On campus jobs are always available and are pretty easy to get. And managing part-time depends on the person, but for me, it's been pretty easy.
16 dollars an hour is the pay I get right now. That is pretty reasonable, but the pay really depends on the work.
Dislikes (Internships): There are career fairs happening frequently, and students do get internships through that, but it mainly depends on the student and majorly get internship applying individually but college does help out with the stuff you need. There are relevant internships available for my field of study.

One of the best Robotics Program
Tips: Transition was not very tough but the cold weather was an issue. Since it snows a lot here, the Winters are tough but the environment and the city are very nice and beautiful. It is a college town so it has many culturally diverse restaurants and bars. Scholarships are rare and the tuition fee is very high so make the decision keeping that in mind. I am very satisfied with the university and programme since I have a lot of freedom in course selection and there are many opportunities.
Likes (Student Life): The college has a lot of groups and communities for different affinities and are very welcoming. The college organizes many fun events to meet new students. There is always something happening in campus. You can definitely find something which interests you. Also, there are many restaurants and clubs near the university where you can socialize with others.
Dislikes (Part time work): Most of the part time is dining jobs which is very exhausting but pays enough that you can pay your monthly expenses. You can manage the part-time work with the academics but it can be demanding. The average payout for these jobs is 15 dollars/hr which is the minimum wage of the state Michigan.

University of Michigan - Academic Oriented and diverse (little expensive)
Tips: Pros:
Community: The campus town is safe and very diverse. Have a great public transport free for university students which connects all parts of town and the university. Transportation: Detroit airport is the nearest airport of 30 minutes drive and has connections to all major destinations in USA along with some flights to India. Academics: The university has excellent faculty and courses among various departments.
Living expenses: Living expenses are reasonable and not too high.
Research: There are some good works happening in various domains with well known faculty members.
Curriculum: Flexible and friendly academic offices.
Cons:
High tuition: Despite being a public university, the tuition is high and the chances of getting a full tuition waiver are low.
CPT: Be aware of the CPT regulations by the university. You have to be a full-time student even if you are doing an internship during the semester. (Co-op) No restrictions for summer internships. Overall it will be a good experience for international students.
Likes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants in the locality, near the campus. You can also find many other options such as Thai, Chinese, mexican, Mediterranean. A typical meal costs around $7-11. I would prefer cooking by myself because it saves a lot of money.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are many on campus part time jobs but highly competitive. You need to apply early to get one. It's tough to find an off-campus part time for international students.
Don't be disappointed if you cannot find one immediately after joining, they will be opening even during the semester and there will be part-time openings in academic roles as well like grade and temp, Research assistant. Part time is manageable and flexible with $15-20 hrs a week. Average pay is around $12-17 USD per hour.

UMich is good for research.
Tips: 1. TA/RAship opportunities are very limited for Master's students. But once you get these roles, your tuition fee is excused and you also receive a handsome monthly stipend
2. The tuition fee is quite high compared to other universities
3. College reputation in the field of IC & VLSI (my field) is very high. Recruiters know of this as well
4. College is very good for research opportunities
Likes (Safety): I have not heard of any violent activity. The city is pretty safe to go for walks post-midnights as well. There is a free ride-sharing option for late-night studies provided by the University. The city itself is mostly composed of students so it feels pretty safe to roam around. People are very friendly and seldom rude.
Dislikes (Value for money): The fee is considerably high compared to other Master's programs in the US. I recommend taking a look at the tuition structure on the college website. However, you can opt for a payment plan by which you can pay the semester fee in monthly installments for 5 months.

Internships are only permitted on campus with limited opportunities.
Tips: There's a significant cultural shift. People here are more focused on work compared to India. You can get a scholarship with an 8+ CGPA in India. I am likely satisfied. It will take time to adjust, but if you are work-focused and prefer less interaction, this is a great place for you.
Likes (Internships): Internships are only permitted on campus, with limited opportunities. Off-campus work is illegal and results in expulsion. The available campus internships offer decent pay, sufficient to keep you occupied.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Shuttle service is available, but not very reliable, and doesn't stop at reliable locations. Public transportation is not very dependable, so it's advisable to purchase private transportation, perhaps a used car. Be prepared to invest in a car, or rent one, but rental rates are high.
