Good campus life offered here.
Tips: I notice that the campus is really nice and campus life here has something for almost everyone. The class sizes are smaller than I had expected but at least it leads to better student teacher interaction and very involved lessons. Office hours are actually useful and professors do their best to accommodate everyone so you don't need to be nervous or hesitant. Not worth coming here in your undergrad, though.

Welcoming campus and great social life.
Tips: My first impression here was that things are very fast paced as the academic calendar here moves quickly because of the quarter system so it seems like once you start figuring things out, the lessons get over. Otherwise the Indian community is quite active; there's stuff like cricket matches and events quite regularly. Housing costs tend to vary based on where you're staying.

Great co op program and solid industry experience.
Tips: The biggest reason for my coming here as is the case for a lot of other students in my batch is because of the co op programme and the industrial experience you gain because of it. The lessons learnt here are super valuable and the student life offered has been fun and exciting as well. Lots of students are spread out in the city, giving it a college town feel. There is no guarantee when it comes to employment and sponsorship so make sure you apply in other countries as well.

Drexel - Worth the investment.
Tips: It was a smooth transition, no big culture shift except for rules and regulations. People are very friendly and welcoming. I didn't get any scholarships but there are definitely some options if you want one. I am very happy with the choice I made. I am enjoying it here.
Likes (Student Life): Good facilities, gym, sports and many others. You feel you have everything to enjoy your college life, there are many events organized by clubs here, join a club and you will be even more involved, there is always one or the other event happening every day, so you can never miss one.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Given the current situation, I am not sure the possibility of getting a permanent settlement here, but given a chance too, I am not very curious or excited about it. I plan to move back to India and live with my family, I am here for educational purposes.

Indian societies are quite happening on campus.
Tips: Almost all of Drexel's business programs are conducted with a good blend of data tools, projects and theory. Transitioning was a little challenging but mentor groups and the orientation conducted were helpful and even though part time jobs aren't available much, you can still earn via the co op programs. Campus life is a nice break from all the work and the Indian societies are quite happening.

The campus is very well connected with the city.
Tips: Good opportunity to study here as it has Co-Op System. You won't feel that much of the cultural shift I believe. I got a Dean's Fellowship of around 16000 for full course. It was based on my student profile. So far I am very satisfied with whatever I got.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is very well connected with the city as it is close to Downtown. Drexel Shuttle (Bus) has Three Routes connection to almost every necessary places in the campus. The public transport network is also very easy to use. Lots of cheap options available.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are not available as such. And the ones that are available have so many applicants that the chances of you getting the job are almost negligible. Part-time work is definitely manageable, but for that you should be fortunate enough to get one.

A place of different cultures from around the world.
Tips: The shift that I felt was the change in how you live your life and how you are used to doing certain things, coming from a country like India. The culture is a lot different but only if you indulge in it, you can also be in your own bubble and stay far from anything different, where you surround yourself with people from your own background and nothing much will change in your life. I am pretty satisfied with my university, course and country.
Likes (Student Life): The student life is amazing here in Philadelphia, according to my experience, since there are two huge campuses in such close vicinity, you get to meet interesting people from various backgrounds, cultures, races and religions. The area is beautiful and exciting to live in, as there is always something going on and there is always something to do for everyone, no matter how exclusive your taste is or how different your choices are.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chance of an international student from India settling permanently in the US is very low these days and it will be lower as we go forward because of the immigration policies, the sheer number of people coming from India and the cap on the visas issue every year.

Drexel, a life of hustle that pays off.
Tips: Students must make up their mind to adapt to a hustle life since the quarter system is fast and demanding. Culturally, there were no problems for me personally. Scholarships depend on your academic integrity and accomplishments. You can apply for external scholarships if you have the backing of a professor and meet the requirements for the scholarship/fellowship.
Likes (Student Life): Drexel has decent amenities like a park and a recreational center for sports that students can use to catch up on their personal life. Drexel clubs also organise many activities. It totally depends on how the student will use these amenities. There are clubs for all sorts of things from academic to entertainment to sports.
Dislikes (Part time work): I see a lot of students struggling to get part time jobs either in college or with partner companies on campus. Some students are managing part time jobs like working in a cafe/restaurant or TA/RA without any issues to their academic journey. Average part time pay is around 10-20 dollars per hour but it depends on the company.

Tips: Students before joining this college should need to know about the good place to live and good places to eat.
The college also gives scholarships for the students and conducts some free food donation every week where students can go and grab some food.
There are also some student groups which will focus on student problems and try to sort them out.
Likes (Public transportation): There different sources of transportation here and which can easily take to most of the places which we want and also they are very cheap and reasonable
They will be there 24-7 and easily accessible the payment mode is also easy to understand and there will be guidelines everywhere .
Dislikes (Internships): Internship opportunities are low because for our course we need prior experience and the market right now is bad here. Maybe later in 2026 there might be some easy opportunities to grab into.
And moreover there are plenty of opportunities for civil engineering according to my knowledge here.

Hectic but worth the struggle.
Tips: Quarter system is followed, and for Masters degree you need to complete 45 credits in 2 and a half months. Whereas, other universities graduate students need to complete 30 credit in 5 months, hence it is very hectic and stressful to manage initially.
Likes (Student Life): There are a lot of student networking events, cultural and diversity events where students can participate. There are several clubs and associations where student can take part, and can join in arts, robotics, and musical clubs. There are graduate student associations which can be joined too.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is difficult to get on campus jobs as there are a lot of people who try for it. 15% of students get part time jobs, rest don't get it. 15-18$ is the pay and it is better to apply part-time before joining the course that is when you are in India and to apply as many part-time as possible.

Tips: There was a cultural shift after coming to this university. Scholarships are for residents only. So nothing really matters for international students. In terms of the course structure and professors they are friendly and communicate well enough.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus has access to modes of transportation that are public like buses trains and shuttle. Public transportation is affordable and accessible. For students it is at a discounted price. It is cost and convenient effective.
Dislikes (Value for money): Not worth it. We could've gone to another university with much better facilities, experience and education. So whoever is selecting the University of Colorado Denver. Do not assume that you got into a tier 1 university. So if you have a tier 1, then go for it.

Tips: The best part of staying here is easily the student life. The faculty is cooperative and will guide you with your classes and assignments. The coursework is updated, and the classes are engaging. The community is not so welcoming and friendly, but it helps you care about your niche and follow your passion, which makes the whole college experience intangible. Make sure you have your I-20 form and documents in order, as you will need them on more than one occasion, and you can request a peer mentor for extra assistance if you may feel the need.

Engaging and interactive classes with diverse faculty.
Tips: The faculty here is both passionate and pretty knowledgeable as well. A lot of programs are research-based, and you might be asked to present a thesis for some of the courses based on your degree as well. The campus is beautiful, and there is always something to do or explore, such as local food fests, concerts and more. There is an international student community who have helped and ensured that students like us can navigate and settle down easily. Overall, I am satisfied with the course, country and the university.

Tips: I did transition after coming here because of the welcoming environment and the international student community who have helped ensure that students like us are able to navigate and settle down. During applications, you can expect different levels of competitiveness based on the major you are opting for and the campuses as well. The faculty has been helpful so far. Surprisingly, Indian food here is truly exceptional and quite popular among Americans and Indians. You can find a number of Indian restaurants and eateries that too off different cuisines and you will not be disappointed. I make it a point to visit some of them at least once a week. It’s a good university but it is very difficult to find part time and internship.
Tips: You will need to hustle a lot for internships and part-time as there are many international students and foreigners and it's quite competitive. I recommend starting searching for it as soon as you come to the university and from the first day of your classes only. The country and the university are quite safe because of the continuous patrolling and security presence. There are security guards at the train station and emergency security guards on campus, which helps students feel safe and surrounded by people.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are very few part-time jobs available, and students are quite competitive. Even internships are hard to come by. If you don't get an internship, you might have to pay extra for summer classes.

A multicultural learning hub in Downtown Denver
Tips: I have started interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. This has made me more confident. People here enjoy privacy and usually like to be left alone. You need to maintain basic etiquette in public spaces. You need to follow rules all the time. I am getting a stipend for the role of teaching assistant. I got the role by contacting my graduate advisor. I am satisfied with the course and university because of the personalized attention that professors give me. They help you to really learn and become successful.
Likes (Indian Food): There are Mexican, Indian, Chinese, and Thai joints almost everywhere. Downtown Denver has many fast-food chains as well. I cook on weekdays. i.e outside once a week. The cost of per meal outside for one person is around $10 to $20. You also get a variety of food stores within the campus.
Dislikes (Value for money): The tuition fees is on the higher side for international students. Each 3-credit course is around $4200. The average cost per semester is around $12000. However, students can manage the cost with part-time work and scholarships. Students have access to various facilities such as a gym, library, printing services, medical services etc.

Eventful University experience wrapped in decent city vibes.
Tips: Though the University experience is decent, getting scholarships or financial aid is a little tricky here. The first semester, especially if you do not know anyone here could be challenging to figure out things. Denver as a city is nice, and worth the living cost.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a handful of Indian restaurants and grocery stores. I prefer cooking by myself. There are also Middle Eastern places that serve good food. Konark Grocers has all Indian grocery items including vegetables, biscuits and snacks.
Dislikes (Internships): To secure an internship, one needs to actively apply from the second semester onwards. Though there are career fairs at school, the applying part is totally on the student. We have a career center that helps with resumes. Not much guidance is provided by the University.

The university life is pleasant and has a diverse faculty.
Tips: I was skeptical at first and unsure about what to expect, but the student association made it a lot easier to adjust here. One of the biggest advantages of my major has been how valuable the study groups have proven to be. There are numerous collaborative spaces and research labs to get you a true experience of academia. The country is welcoming to international students as well. Faculty are understanding and even help us out with our assignment and research. Overall, I am higgky satisfied with the course, country and the university.
