Henley business school: Where Global exposure meets career paths.
Tips: Henley Business School is well reputed and ranked among the top business schools in the UK, so it offers an opportunity to network with employers, and there is a placement fair that tends to happen often, so you get the chance to communicate with employers from major firms. The fees can be expensive for average international students, but the university provides good career opportunities, employer outreach, and networking events.
Likes (Student Life): Honestly, campus life here is a blast. There’s always some sort of event or club thing happening, so it’s super easy to meet people and network without it feeling forced. My favorite part was probably just hanging out with people from completely different parts of the world. The uni does a really good job of making international students feel welcome, which honestly made the whole moving process and settling into a new routine way less stressful.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The professors at Henley really know their stuff and are super easy to talk to. A lot of the teaching is built around real case studies and group projects, which actually helps you figure out how business works in the real world. That said, the teaching quality can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on which lecture or module you end up with.

Masters in Marketing (International Marketing) - Batch of 2023

It is very fun. People will treat you well.
Tips: There are a lot of scholarships available. I also got a marketing ambassador scholarship worth 5000. Just apply with your SOP and extracurricular activities from your past days. There are a lot of cultural societies within the university itself. So just be active and you'll enjoy your time there. Just be first in everything, apply for in-campus jobs as soon as possible as it gets filled fast.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is a little difficult for those who have 0 experience back in India; there is a lot of competition here. You really need to be the best at something. Usually, you'll get entry level jobs for the first couple of years and then you might get the sponsorship from the same company.

HBS - The go-to school for sure.
Tips: My university experience was really fun and I learnt a lot being with the Henley Business School. Even though I was born in India, I was brought up here in the UK since I was 3. So I have no clue. I've never needed to look into sponsor visas or post study work requirements and I'm familiar with what companies provide them. My experience has always been as a local. Henley Business School faculty are highly experienced academics and industry professionals who combine research expertise with real-world business insights.

MSc Management - Batch of 2025
4.1
A decent programme that could do more.
Tips: Being an international student from Bangalore, my time at Henley was honestly a bit of a mixed bag. The MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation definitely has its bright spots, but there were plenty of times I felt it fell short. I really think the curriculum could've done a lot more to actually prep us for the real world—both for starting a business and just getting hired. Some of the modules felt like total filler, honestly. Like the leadership one—it was just too generic and didn't really give me anything I could actually use. The best part by far was the consultancy project. Getting to work with an actual company like AirZone was the only time it felt truly hands-on.

Masters in Finance - Batch of 2026
4.2
Great Learning Environment with Real-World Exposure
Tips: Before you commit to Henley, just be ready for the M.Sc. Finance to be a bit of a grind—it’s pretty heavy on the math and analytical side, especially when you get into stuff like financial modelling. If you already know your way around Excel and basic stats, you’ll have a massive head start. Also, definitely get your budget sorted before you arrive because the UK isn't cheap, and trying to juggle a part-time job with these modules is a real balancing act. My own transition was mostly fine, though the teaching style was a bit of a shock at first since it’s way more about independent study and speaking up in class than what I was used to. I was actually lucky enough to land the Dean’s Merit Scholarship—that £10k tuition discount made a huge difference. I think getting my application in early really helped there. Honestly, even with the weather being a bit depressing and the job market being so competitive for us international students, I’m really happy I came. The lecturers are great and the whole environment just feels really supportive.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I went with 5 stars for the faculty because the lecturers at Henley really know their stuff. It’s not just textbook theory either; a lot of them have actually worked in finance or done serious research, so they bring in those real-world examples that actually make sense. The way they teach is super supportive and they actually encourage us to get involved in the discussions. Plus, they’re genuinely easy to talk to if you're stuck and need some extra help after class. Honestly, the quality of the teaching is probably the best part of the whole M.Sc. Finance course.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I gave it a 3 for post-study jobs mostly because of the visa situation. Don’t get me wrong, the M.Sc. Finance at Henley is solid and people do land roles as analysts or in graduate schemes, usually starting around £30k to £38k. But honestly, for us international students, it’s a bit of a battle. There just aren't that many companies willing to sponsor visas compared to how many of us are applying. The uni does try to help with networking and careers stuff, but at the end of the day, it really comes down to your own experience and just how the market is behaving when you graduate.

Masters in Management (International Business) - Batch of 2022
3.1
Best student life and campus.
Tips: Transitioning was good. I learned a lot of good stuff and was taking life and career seriously. I did not avail any scholarship, everything was paid by me. I used to work part-time and manage my expenses. University was good so as country. For course, I could have chosen better.
Likes (Safety): The campus is safe and has a secure environment with strict standards. Rules are followed and things are taken care of. I haven't faced any problem with security even at night. I used to sit in the library which operates 24/7 and even late night services are there and a secure service. Good facilities.
Dislikes (Internships): No internships are available for one year course. Some courses do offer internships but most of them do not. I faced some trouble with securing internships. A degree from this university does not have very significant value in your resume and on the university tag.

BSc in Business and Management (Entrepreneurship) - Batch of 2024

Henley Business School is in the top few of the business universities lists for a reason.
Tips: Henley Business School is an amazing university with unbelievable opportunities to grow. Student life is just something you have to experience for yourself. There is a cultural shift, but it's not very harsh and it's as much as you would experience setting anywhere else than your hometown. I'm very satisfied with my choice of university, course, and country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Exceptional tutors and professors with very supportive and exciting methods of teaching. The faculty had their office timings wherein we could schedule meetings with them on a one-on-one basis. Some even allowed us to walk in, and apart from your professors for each module, you also had an academic tutor who would help you settle in and teach you about the different methods used at the university for assessment and teaching, etc., and you could contact them with any problems you had related to your education or even your personal life.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The current job market is quite challenging and competitive, so finding a job can be difficult. However, Henley Business School has thousands of visa sponsors with fantastic job opportunities. To be successful, you need to have a good CV with experience, or at least show initiative in different parts of your life.

The university is cost effective and has great learning environment.
Tips: The transition was pretty smooth because there are a lot of Indians there and you can find your group if you try. There are Indian restaurants, and it's easy and not as expensive as some other countries. Of course, it depends on how you spend your money. I didn't apply for any scholarships. The university is in a good location and has accessible shopping. The multiple buses and cabs make for a good public transportation system, which is very accessible. It doesn't matter if I'm living in a flat or a hostel, no matter when the university is always accessible. There's an abundance of mashrootkas available, too. This has got to be a great city or region to reside in while studying here. I would certainly not have to spend a lot of time in transit to get to my classes, the shops, the restaurants or the places I enjoy spending time. Overall, I am satisfied with the college, course and the country.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The university is good, but sometimes some of the teachers don't care enough to teach clearly or don't really explain the doubts. Not all of them, of course, but some did this, and it was a little frustrating at times. The teachers did read off of a PowerPoint at times.

Do not join international medical University, Kyrgyzstan.
Tips: I strongly recommend you not to join this university at all. If you do, please know that you won't be getting any clinical exposure whatsoever and it will only be your own hard work that will take you through. No teacher is going to help you in any way possible. It is a low economic development country and, if your goal is permanent settlement, you won't be financially stable. This is because there are many issues there, such as racism, language barriers, and difficulty in integrating with the people.
Likes (Value for money): The INR to Kyrgyzstan Som is almost the same. The fees for the medical colleges there are cheap and that's the sole reason why I had to take transfers there from Ukraine due to the ongoing war. The price for almost anything is similar for just mildly more than Indian rupees.

The university is good and the people are friendly too.
Tips: You should come here with warm clothes and all your Indian medicine because the medicine here won't work for Indian students. Also, you have to come with all the things you need for yourself because here you can't get the Indian thing that you love. So come prepared for medicine, spices, and your lifestyle.
Likes (Internships): When you don't go home on vacation or you complete your degree, you can do an internship at this hospital and they will pay you. The internship is only 2-3 hours per day, and you just have to walk around the hospital grounds and check on patients. Don't worry, the patients are very kind and easy to talk to.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are no opportunities for part-time work. You can't do a part-time job here because there is a language barrier. Even if you learn the language, you can't work because you have a student visa, and working on a student visa is not allowed. But you don't need to work because many things are cheap here.
