Very nice professors, helpful study environment and lots of resources
Tips: Get involved with the university's events and cultural fest. Always look out for opportunities; many are available for students. Extra help for international students. I am satisfied with everything learned and developed a lot in the last three years. Professionally and personally, I have grown as a person.
Likes (Indian Food): There are all types of restaurants available, especially Indian food; pretty good options in Leeds. Also not extremely expensive. I preferred cooking myself; easy Indian groceries are available as well. You can get good North Indian cheap prices from Anand Sweets. South Indian options as well. Other different options as well.
Dislikes (Internships): There is a good level of help provided by the university in finding work; there is a dedicated careers team at Leeds Beckett to help students. The internship opportunities available are related to my field as well, but I would say there are not that many options available and quite high competition as well.

College is really good but you shouldn’t do MBA from here.
Tips: You will most definitely transform, in terms of your behaviour and personality, you will be much more cautious in spending money and time. You will become a calmer version of yourself than before. I am quite satisfied with the outcome; whatever I had expected out of me, I have achieved it.
Likes (Part time work): There is a major availability of part time jobs on and off the campus, but the catch is that you will have to network more and more to make connections to secure jobs. Part time work is quite manageable if you don't mess around. The average pay is around 800-1000 monthly.
Dislikes (Internships): There is availability of internships but you probably actively have to search for each and everything. Regarding guidance, your programme mentor might help but is not bound to depend but as a university, they do not provide first hand services for getting internships.

Leeds Beckett does not offer any specific placement programs.
Tips: People on campus are friendly. Finding part-time jobs might be hard as Leeds is a student hub. Of course, there are cultural differences when moving to another continent, but nothing too hard that one can't get accustomed to in the first one or two months. I did get a scholarship based on my grade for international students.
Likes (Safety): The city is safe, the campus is mostly safe and guarded. There is a shuttle bus from City campus to Headingley campus and vice versa on designated times, so if you plan your day around it, you don't really have to depend on public transportation and can save quite a good amount of money.
Dislikes (Internships): Unlike most Indian universities, Leeds Beckett does not offer any specific placement programs. Instead, it facilitates the job-hunting process. Internships can be hard to secure, and your skills and talent play a primary role in securing them. You have a lot of occasions and events to make connections. Networking at these events can help you meet potential employers.

The process of applying for a visa to work is expensive.
Tips: I have become more independent and have made friends across all nationalities. The simpler part of Leeds is its friendly crowd and social culture that makes it easy for making friends. The university is in the city centre, which makes it very accessible. The Leeds City Bus Services are a convenient way to get around, and the train and bus stations are both within two miles’ distance of the university. Using your student pass to purchase tickets makes bus travel affordable, and having a rail card gives you discounts on travel between cities. I did not avail of any scholarships as I come from an Indian university tie-up programme. I am quite satisfied with my university and the UK in general.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I'm not interested in settling down in the UK. The process of applying for a visa to work is expensive, and it is hard to guarantee that there is a job waiting for me. People who have sponsorship roles can make the process more affordable. However, for most others, it is expensive. My goal was to finish my MBA and start up a company in India. Putting deliberate thought and effort into your job search will help land you a job in the UK.

The university provides us with internship opportunities and has great academics.
Tips: Students should know that the university has two campuses, the city campus and the Headingley campus. Scholarships are available at both campuses and they range up to 3000 pounds. The university provides good exposure to the students which is very helpful for their future careers. I love the culture, the place and the people here. It's a great place to study, learn and get a job. I would personally recommend coming here to study and stay. I'd like to stay here myself and excel in my studies so that I can start my own business. I am very satisfied with the university and the course I am pursuing.
Likes (Part time work): The university is very vast and helpful. It helps students get internships and explore new opportunities that could lead to full-time jobs. An internship is the best way to get a career boost and if the university offers placement assistance that's even better.

Leeds Beckett University is fun going and friendly university.
Tips: Before joining Leeds Beckett University, students should know that it's essential to have a backup plan and be financially prepared, as relevant jobs are hard to come by. Students should also focus on doing their own assignments and not outsource them, as this can lead to complications. Overall, I'm satisfied with the module content at Leeds Beckett University.
Likes (Student Life): It's vibrant as Leeds is mostly a student-based city. You can share your rent with friends and spend less too. You can split groceries as well because everyone is very friendly here. I've been to so many nightclubs and events that it really feels very festive.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have attended so many job fairs but haven't gotten in yet. And most of the companies that offer jobs are non-relevant to sports. I have only worked in part-time jobs while studying in this university, full time jobs are really hard to get and sponsorship too.

College is amazing and specially the international student environment.
Tips: They give international scholarships to every international student so get it before paying any fees, and many more scholarships are available, you can find them on their official website. I have two scholarships one is international and is a Btec level 7 Master.
Likes (Value for money): I got two scholarships from the college, so I only had to pay 9555 pounds a year for my MBA. In India, you have to pay more than 10 lakhs for an MBA, so getting an international degree at Leeds Beckett was a good value for money.
Dislikes (Internships): It is easy to find an internship anywhere, but you should first decide which college you want to study at. After that, you need to research the college because every field has different colleges. Leeds Beckett College is the best college for everyone because its QS ranking is good. However, the college does not provide internships, so you will have to find one on your own.

College is good but some faculty member are not good.
Tips: Before you join the university, choose your course first, which should be related to your previous course. Once you join the university, make sure you focus on your assignments before the class and try to become a global ambassador role. Also, try to engage with international students to gain your knowledge. The establishment of high standards and maintained compliance with all regulatory safety guidelines from sanitation to staff training and the environment is well maintained. Staff may be trained in safety protocols, displaying responsiveness in addressing any safety concerns or unique.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I was disappointed with the university's job placement services. I did not feel they provided enough opportunities for me to find a job in my field of study. As a result, I did not get the job I wanted and had to take a job in another field.

The college is good with dedicated faculty members.
Tips: Do brush up your skills before joining the university and if you have any work experience it will be very much appreciated and beneficial for you. Prepare yourself for the upcoming changes and challenges you will be going to face and make sure you beat up those challenges. The public transportation is affordable and available most of the time. The faculty is very supportive and helps with all your doubts and concerns. They are very approachable and consider the difficulties that can be faced by an international student.

Satisfying experience at Leeds Beckett University
Tips: Students should be aware of cultural diversity prepare for potential cultural shifts and research scholarship opportunities. I transition smoothly with minor cultural adjustments. I obtained a scholarship based on academic excellence providing financial support for my studies. I'm highly satisfied with Leeds Beckett University its course quality and the welcoming environment of the country.
Likes (Post study jobs): My chances of permanent settlement in this country are favourable due to my qualifications and the country immigration policies. I would consider permanently immigrating to this country as it offers stability opportunities for growth and a high quality of life.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There is some guidance available for finding and applying for the internship it could be more comprehensive. The available internships are somewhat relevant to my field of study but there is room for improvement in terms of alignment with my specific interests and career guidance.

Lovable and easy going environment at Leeds Beckett University.
Tips: Coming to Leeds as an International student is a very enriching experience as you get a lot of exposure and get to learn a new way of life. We have close to about 60K students studying here so you get a very positive transition experience. I got a scholarship of 2K early bird which students can avail based on their academic record. I love the experience here in UK.
Dislikes (Student Life): Our university offers a diverse and exciting student life experience. We also have guest lectures where students get the opportunity to learn from the experiences of renowned guests. University also has a lot of societies in which you can become a member and network with people.

Best university in the city of Leeds
Tips: We have a scholarship at this university. I love the course and the systematic studies. The university experience is also nice and they not only focus on studies but also on other extracurricular activities which encourages the students as well.
Likes (Quality of faculty): They are really nice. I love their teaching and the techno is also very good. The teaching faculty members never discriminated. They are good with each person. The methodology is also good and unique. They make study interesting also. It is easy to approach the faculty members.
Dislikes (Part time work): We don't get part-time easily and do not get much help. If we get more knowledge about the part times then it would be easier for the International students as we come from different places and do not have much knowledge. I would appreciate if we get to know more about the jobs and how to get them.

One can say Leed Beckett university is one of the great university for changing life of students
Tips: The transition was a little harder for me as there were no friends. I did not experience any major cultural shift except for the standard of living in England.

Experience beyond your thinking
Tips: My confidence has increased after studying and interacting with different cross-cultural students and faculty members at the University. I think almost everyone who got good grades in high school or Bachelor got a reasonable scholarship from this university. My satisfaction is above average with regard to the University course and country.
Likes (Safety): If you live in the main city center, then you have to pay more but there are no safety issues apart from the other areas such as Hyde Park, Harehills, and Bradford which are not so safe for anyone. I live nearby Headingley Stadium which is one of the safest places in Leeds.
Dislikes (Value for money): MBA, if I did it in India from one of the top colleges or even above-average colleges, it would cost me around 15 Lacs or more. Over here, my fee was 12.5 Lacs which was way better than Indian colleges and the exposure you get was an exceptional one. After completing your course, you can repay your education loan without any delay which is not easy in India.

I feel great that i am a part of this university.
Tips: I think that you will learn different cultures as most of the students here are from different countries. And yes they offer different kind of scholarships you should check your eligibility on their website and apply according and I am truly satisfied with my course.
Likes (Part time work): University offers many part time roles in university and even some full time roles for student with sponsorship and yes they help in getting part time jobs off campus also. You can easily manage your part time work along with your studies and you will pe paid according to minimum wages declared by government.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Because you will get only 2 year post study work permit after completing your studies other options are available like sponsorship from any organisation but university will not help you in getting these options you have to look for them by yourself only.

Good and supportive people
Tips: Students coming here should know how to prepare for the exams. And it is also important to know how to behave in class because a lot of international students are there from different countries. Also, try to understand the British accent as soon as possible otherwise it will be more difficult to understand.
Likes (Internships): I did not choose any internship programme. But a lot of my classmates did and they said that doing an internship was helpful after finishing the course. Most of the students are grateful for doing an internship.
Dislikes (Part time work): I got a lot of options for part-time work. But the problem was time management. As it is hard to manage work with classes cause the time clashes. However, I am getting a lot of calls for work opportunities.

Go for it, it’s a great experience!
Tips: Students should be open to communication with people from all backgrounds and not be stuck in their comfort zone while being here. And most importantly plan their move months in advance and not make it an impulsive decision. It takes a while to get used to so don't expect to seamlessly assimilate here.
Likes (Value for money): The cost of the course is a bit higher than most undergraduate courses. But the return on investment is generally higher for MBA courses. I also got a scholarship which made my life a bit easier given that studying abroad can become very expensive especially when you don't have time to work.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Leeds has not many transportation options, as there is no tram line like Manchester and Ubers can be expensive. The bus prices are increasing very frequently and the train station is only in the city centre and Burley and you may have to walk quite a bit for it.

Average University, beautiful campus
Tips: I got a scholarship of 32000. There is a cultural shift because UK is not our home country. Don't expect that you will land a job immediately after Masters. You should have prior knowledge of your field before Masters. Minimum professional experience is mandatory.
Likes (Part time work): On campus part time jobs are just for name sake, as it is less than 20%. Off-campus opportunities are average, good to have your own vehicle for work so that you can opt for warehouse jobs. 20 hours a week is manageable without getting our studies hampered. Payout on NI job is about 310 on average.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Food outside is the worst. You won't be able to get South Indian options, and not worth the price at all. I always prefer cooking at home. A lot of Pakistanis sell food in the name of Indian food. Indian grocery is limited and expensive. Other region food options are good.

Friendly and experienced lectures
Tips: The best aspect of living on campus is the convenience. Its easy to attend classes and scheduled events. There are many facilities we get from campus such as library, gym and sports area. In terms of food especially Indian food, it is quite expensive.
Likes (Internships): There are multiple reasons why Internships are good here, the first being the training we receive from the university. Tutors are ready to respond at all times. Campus has good academics and values. In the university, we have a well being centre for students to help them with mental stress.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Location of the college is the best. Have good facilities like buses, friendly lectures, tutors with good academic skills. Both campuses are located in the city with good transportation system. Studnet life is designed well. College is value for money, safe and best to do part time work.

Henley business school: Where Global exposure meets career paths.
Tips: Henley Business School is well reputed and ranked among the top business schools in the UK, so it offers an opportunity to network with employers, and there is a placement fair that tends to happen often, so you get the chance to communicate with employers from major firms. The fees can be expensive for average international students, but the university provides good career opportunities, employer outreach, and networking events.
Likes (Student Life): Honestly, campus life here is a blast. There’s always some sort of event or club thing happening, so it’s super easy to meet people and network without it feeling forced. My favorite part was probably just hanging out with people from completely different parts of the world. The uni does a really good job of making international students feel welcome, which honestly made the whole moving process and settling into a new routine way less stressful.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The professors at Henley really know their stuff and are super easy to talk to. A lot of the teaching is built around real case studies and group projects, which actually helps you figure out how business works in the real world. That said, the teaching quality can be a bit of a mixed bag depending on which lecture or module you end up with.

It is very fun. People will treat you well.
Tips: There are a lot of scholarships available. I also got a marketing ambassador scholarship worth 5000. Just apply with your SOP and extracurricular activities from your past days. There are a lot of cultural societies within the university itself. So just be active and you'll enjoy your time there. Just be first in everything, apply for in-campus jobs as soon as possible as it gets filled fast.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is a little difficult for those who have 0 experience back in India; there is a lot of competition here. You really need to be the best at something. Usually, you'll get entry level jobs for the first couple of years and then you might get the sponsorship from the same company.

Tips: My university experience was really fun and I learnt a lot being with the Henley Business School. Even though I was born in India, I was brought up here in the UK since I was 3. So I have no clue. I've never needed to look into sponsor visas or post study work requirements and I'm familiar with what companies provide them. My experience has always been as a local. A decent programme that could do more.
Tips: Being an international student from Bangalore, my time at Henley was honestly a bit of a mixed bag. The MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation definitely has its bright spots, but there were plenty of times I felt it fell short. I really think the curriculum could've done a lot more to actually prep us for the real world—both for starting a business and just getting hired. Some of the modules felt like total filler, honestly. Like the leadership one—it was just too generic and didn't really give me anything I could actually use. The best part by far was the consultancy project. Getting to work with an actual company like AirZone was the only time it felt truly hands-on.

Great Learning Environment with Real-World Exposure
Tips: Before you commit to Henley, just be ready for the M.Sc. Finance to be a bit of a grind—it’s pretty heavy on the math and analytical side, especially when you get into stuff like financial modelling. If you already know your way around Excel and basic stats, you’ll have a massive head start. Also, definitely get your budget sorted before you arrive because the UK isn't cheap, and trying to juggle a part-time job with these modules is a real balancing act.
My own transition was mostly fine, though the teaching style was a bit of a shock at first since it’s way more about independent study and speaking up in class than what I was used to. I was actually lucky enough to land the Dean’s Merit Scholarship—that £10k tuition discount made a huge difference. I think getting my application in early really helped there. Honestly, even with the weather being a bit depressing and the job market being so competitive for us international students, I’m really happy I came. The lecturers are great and the whole environment just feels really supportive.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I went with 5 stars for the faculty because the lecturers at Henley really know their stuff. It’s not just textbook theory either; a lot of them have actually worked in finance or done serious research, so they bring in those real-world examples that actually make sense. The way they teach is super supportive and they actually encourage us to get involved in the discussions. Plus, they’re genuinely easy to talk to if you're stuck and need some extra help after class. Honestly, the quality of the teaching is probably the best part of the whole M.Sc. Finance course.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I gave it a 3 for post-study jobs mostly because of the visa situation. Don’t get me wrong, the M.Sc. Finance at Henley is solid and people do land roles as analysts or in graduate schemes, usually starting around £30k to £38k. But honestly, for us international students, it’s a bit of a battle. There just aren't that many companies willing to sponsor visas compared to how many of us are applying. The uni does try to help with networking and careers stuff, but at the end of the day, it really comes down to your own experience and just how the market is behaving when you graduate.

Best student life and campus.
Tips: Transitioning was good. I learned a lot of good stuff and was taking life and career seriously. I did not avail any scholarship, everything was paid by me. I used to work part-time and manage my expenses. University was good so as country. For course, I could have chosen better.
Likes (Safety): The campus is safe and has a secure environment with strict standards. Rules are followed and things are taken care of. I haven't faced any problem with security even at night. I used to sit in the library which operates 24/7 and even late night services are there and a secure service. Good facilities.
Dislikes (Internships): No internships are available for one year course. Some courses do offer internships but most of them do not. I faced some trouble with securing internships. A degree from this university does not have very significant value in your resume and on the university tag.

Henley Business School is in the top few of the business universities lists for a reason.
Tips: Henley Business School is an amazing university with unbelievable opportunities to grow. Student life is just something you have to experience for yourself. There is a cultural shift, but it's not very harsh and it's as much as you would experience setting anywhere else than your hometown. I'm very satisfied with my choice of university, course, and country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Exceptional tutors and professors with very supportive and exciting methods of teaching. The faculty had their office timings wherein we could schedule meetings with them on a one-on-one basis. Some even allowed us to walk in, and apart from your professors for each module, you also had an academic tutor who would help you settle in and teach you about the different methods used at the university for assessment and teaching, etc., and you could contact them with any problems you had related to your education or even your personal life.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The current job market is quite challenging and competitive, so finding a job can be difficult. However, Henley Business School has thousands of visa sponsors with fantastic job opportunities. To be successful, you need to have a good CV with experience, or at least show initiative in different parts of your life.
