Tips: I've had a very positive experience here so far. The campus is welcoming, and the student body is diverse and friendly, especially the South Asian Association, which I was a part of. Tips: When I came to Lansing from my hometown, it was so much quieter here, but I can keep busy with all the clubs and events on campus. The students do have to stay alert because there are lots of pickpockets, and also be prepared to do lots of presentations and projects. I’ve had to learn how to cook now that I’m here. Tips: I have grown to love doing research here, and the faculty is truly helpful if you show initiative. Don't shy away from having fun as well; extracurricular activities look good on the CV. The campus gym is the best thing here if you're keen on working out. I got a merit-based scholarship, which reduced my tuition by 6,700 USD. If you're eligible and confident, go for it.

Tips: I decided to take this program because of its employability focus. Plus, I also thought the course looked diverse. Sure enough, after I got here, the course was super diverse, and there was a pretty diverse group of students in the program, too. Team projects are a good way to earn extra credit, and if you're craving Indian, there's a restaurant right outside campus, so you're in luck. Also, this location is really convenient in terms of access to public transportation. The bus system is well-connected and easy to navigate, so I'm not stuck at this location, either. I'm happy with my decision to take the program.

Tips: The first thing I noticed was how huge the campus is. I even had to use Google Maps to navigate it at times. I thought getting a bike would be a smart way to go. It seems like people here take networking and career events very seriously, so I suggest prepping your resume in advance. If you can make it in time for orientation, that's great, but if not, you'll get accustomed soon enough.

Tips: Studying at MSU is truly a one-of-a-kind experience where you will be exposed to all sorts of people, cultures and activities among more. It is a big campus with lots of activities to do.
Tips: MSU is very diverse and very welcoming so you ideally shouldn't find it too hard to find your place here and settle in. Sports are a big deal here and the college takes a lot of pride in its sports teams and matches. The class sizes are huge which can make having direct interaction more difficult. Tips: This course is little expensive than others but could cover this cost of post graduation with a competing job.
You must be proactive in searching for jobs if you are going for Cybersecurity degree since they do a different and difficult recruiting process for it. Overall it is a good college.
Likes (Safety): It is a very safe locality with cops patrolling 24/7 around campus, there is a separate police and emergency line for the students, and they are available and very helpful when in need, which I experienced first hand. There are also safety drills conducted.
Dislikes (Part time work): There are very few openings on part time since it is a small campus they do not recruit many students and our cost of living here is very expensive. So it is a little frustrating as I am in my 2nd year and still did not get any part time in the University.

Likes (Public transportation): The NJ Transit connectivity is reliable and convenient, making daily commutes smooth and efficient. Additionally, the availability of other public transportation options, such as ferries and buses, adds to the ease of getting around, making travel flexible and well-connected.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): This place offers incredible opportunities to learn, grow, and gain valuable experience, and for that, I'm truly grateful. However, while it's been a great chapter, I don't see it as a place to settle down long-term. I'm looking for a place that feels more aligned with my future.

A transformative financial journey with real world exposure.
Tips: Coming from India to New York City was a real culture shock, but Stevens made the transition a lot smoother than it might have been. The emphasis on participation and independence was a real shift from how classes were done back home, but it helped me grow and adapt more quickly. I’m glad I was able to study there, and I'm particularly grateful for the program’s fast pace and industry focus, the course faculty, and all the opportunities I had to be exposed to the city. The MSM Finance program is ideal for those who want to dive deep into a specific field.
