BSc in Data Science & Scientific Computing - Batch of 2029
4.2
Good and easy going college with occasional challenges.
Tips: Culture is very different; if you come here alone, it will be a very different experience than in India. If you don't have any connections in Germany/Munich, then getting a scholarship is quite hard. But overall the college community is nice; people in Germany are generally good.
Likes (Student Life): College life is good. There might be one day in a week that's stressful, but the rest are easygoing. Different faculty members have different events, but job events are often universal, allowing people to explore different areas and create lots of connections.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Trains and other transport services are often late and sometimes cancelled. The app that should show these delays sometimes does not, leaving you to guess whether the train is coming or not. Prices for a monthly student ticket are high and not worth it, but there isn't any other choice. But the trains themselves are clean, comfortable, and quiet most of the time.

Master of Business Administration and Engineering - Batch of 2026
Offered by Hochschule fur Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin
3.8
Easy going but self driven
Tips: In Germany, HTW universities are mostly practical and curriculum-driven, so hardly any professor will teach you anything. Most of the time, you have to work on case studies and presentations. Yes, it is mostly that you will be doing your stuff on your own like you will have to make presentations per week and work on the case studies professor just do their job of checking and feed backing.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Because I feel the visa process is not that stringent for students, you can easily extend your visa for your study period. And you can extend your study till the four years after you secure a full-time job. If your salary is about certainly limit, you can get the blue card picture for four years, and then you can convert it into a permanent residence permit card with Justin. Your work contract.
Dislikes (Internships): I rated it two because only universities offer a compulsory internship option for students. It is easy to get an internship, but at my university, it is really difficult because internships aren't compulsory. If you have past job experience, then you can secure a full-time role or a working student role, but with good skills.

Master of Science in Civil engineering - Batch of 2027

5.0
The friendliest and most welcoming college.
Tips: The teachers have their own style of teaching and it might be very different from the way you are used to. Be prepared to change so that you can adapt. Even the exams are different. You are even allowed to be friendly and playful with the teachers. This helps create a good environment.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I spend my day taking classes and then eating lunch or breakfast. Mensa is a place where all the students can eat food for a very affordable price. This helps the student focus on studying and extracurricular activities. We have events and parties every month.
Dislikes (Indian Food): They are supporting and give opportunities to everyone. They provide materials for studying and clearing the exam. They are not regular teachers they are people from the industry as our visiting faculty, which helps us gain practical knowledge of the real world.

MSc in Professional IT Business and Digitalization - Batch of 2025

4.7
A practical, diverse, and growth-oriented experience at HTW.
Tips: Students should be ready for a self-driven practical learning setup. Adapting to the independent study style and punctual culture takes time but it’s doable. I’ve adjusted well and enjoy the international and diverse environment at HTW. HTW does not provide any scholarship, but there are student assistant jobs you can do under the professor. I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): In Germany getting a Blue Card and later PR is relatively easy if you’re working in technical fields or professions listed on the official website. These jobs are in high demand making the immigration process smoother for qualified professionals.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): HTW is quite good with a practical hands on approach that reduce stress about written exams. The only challenge is scheduling appointments with faculty as you need to check their availability in advance. A great environment for learning and the faculty makes you feel comfortable in every situation.

Choose specialisation according to your future interest and experience will be definitely nice.
Tips: I wouldn’t say there was too much of a cultural shift, because everyone else in my program was also from India. I didn’t get any financial aid, but I’d say my student loan paid for itself. The course itself was good, and there was a lot of new material for me to learn. My specialisation was based on my studies before, in mechanical engineering. So, just a tip, everyone else, carefully select your specialisation.
Likes (Part time work): There are no on-campus jobs here, but you can work off-campus. I live in Berlin and there are lots of part-time job opportunities. As a student, you can work 20 hours per week, which is easy to manage along with school, but you do need to be disciplined.
Dislikes (Internships): Only a few of them got an internship. But those who got an internship received it based on their previous experience, which was in their own country. Very few got it according to there current study. So your previous experience also matters while receiving internship not only your current course.
