Master of Science in Digital Technologies - Batch of 2027
4.1
I like my college and especially proffersor they are very helpful.
Tips: The first requirement is to complete your B1 level of German to join the course. Secondly, if you are interested in the automation (like robotics or AI) industry, take this course. Also, the professor will give you a project to work on in a real project, so you will get professional experience while staying.
Likes (Value for money): It is a public university, and I am paying only about 500 euros per semester, that's enough for me. At a private university, it is too much. Also, my university provides me with a Deutschlandticket, so it's basically free. Also, my university has free projects where professors give me money to work on them.
Dislikes (Public transportation): It is a small city compared to Berlin, Hamburg, and all others. So most of the time in week days last connection will be till 12 AM. Plus, there are only buses and trams for public transportation, no S-Bahn and no u bahn so you have only two options to pick, and you need to check your connection every time in case it is cancelled or not.

- Batch of 2026
4.3
Student-friendly, low-stress studies with good outcomes, but ASTP fees are hard to justify.
Tips: I have grown overall in my technical skills as well as an person. Life here teaches you to appreciate small things. The culture in Germany is vibrant and the opportunities are high (given you can or willing to learn German), with time you SEE yourself growing in your career as well as evolving into an overall better person. The language comes with time given that the person is also putting efforts to learn. There are scholarships available and can be availed on various terms. The course is very easy-going and stress free which allows you to focus on other aspects like jobs, Applications and Travel.
Likes (Post study jobs): As the University is located in Wolfsburg, being the hub for Automotive giants Volkswagen, the work and internship opportunities are naturally high. The average living cost for professionals is also low as compared to other cities. Salaries of 50-60K Eur average are offered in ths region.
Dislikes (Student Life): The average day in University is good, can meet students around the world. The events organised are mostly technical or related to the Automotive field. There is an Ostfalia students ASTA community but not that interactive and active. The city is relatively small as other and does not hold many events and fair. This makes the social life to be a bit boring and opportunity to meet new people is limited.

One of the best universities for diversified courses such as SCM,QM, Project Management.
Tips: The university offers internships to help the students, not directly but indirectly, during the application process, and phases such as CV making, preparation for interviews and so on. Staff is also very supportive.

Great place to study and gain experience
Tips: It’s a university of applied science, so expect a lot of practical work. Assignments can be tough, but people are helpful. It's a great place to connect with companies and research institutions alike. The curriculum is well managed, and there are lots of options to take subjects you like in computer science and robotics.

Amazing course in robotics.
Tips: There is a cultural shift but not too much of a transition. It again boils down to the lifestyle of an individual. If you are open to trying new things, I would suggest to go for it. I haven't availed any scholarship yet.
Likes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants and stores available here at reasonable prices. Indian groceries are easily available here and there are many options available too. Sometimes you'll have to be open to trying new food options. I prefer cooking myself and occasionally having food outside.
Dislikes (Internships): We get support from the university in finding internships, but it again depends on what relevant field we want to focus on. There are a lot of available internships in my field of study. Sometimes we have to be patient enough to find the right one. My course doesn't have a mandatory internship course.

Practical and career ready education.
Tips: Learn German. Know about scholarships. Be prepared to work hard because the course is hard. Know about the course structure before coming. Learn about the basic stuff which are related to the course. It is an applied Science University, so be ready to get your hands dirty practically.
Likes (Value for money): We spend around 300 euros per semester, which includes a public D-ticket. Our labs are well equipped with many resources and professors are involved in fascinating research. We have around 7-8 roots and also many more coming in the future. For these feels, you are getting most of the things.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have seen many other universities posting jobs daily. But in our university, we get emails randomly, that too most of which are German-specific jobs. Also job market is very bad at this moment, so getting jobs outside is also getting very difficult, so many students do odd jobs.

Learning comes out of comfort zone.
Tips: All the prerequisites provided in the course page must be known to the student applying for the course. There are scholarships depending on the grades you get. The university is difficult by Indian standards but there are lots and lots of things which we can learn through experience. Everything here is about failing quickly in order to also learn things quickly.
Likes (Public transportation): There are Deutchebahn facilities all over the city starting from trams to ICEs. The train timing might be a little off sometimes but no matter where you are there is always a way out through transportation! People here are also more friendly and do help us. It is never like what is told on the internet.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I mostly cook for myself but I also enjoy eating out on special occasions. Groceries are readily available at nearby stores and there are many Indian restaurants in the area. I would recommend cooking and preparing your own meals. Good luck with the cooking.

Adapting, learning and growing at Hochschule Bonn Rhein Sieg.
Tips: Before joining, know that the university is academically strong and except self-initiative. Adapting to a new culture was challenging, but learning German helped. I didn't avail myself of any scholarships, but there is no tuition fee.
Likes (Safety): Bonn feels very safe, even at night. Regular police patrols, good public transport and well-lit streets. The city is peaceful with low crime rates, but avoid red light areas. I haven't had any bad experiences so far. You can consider it a student city as the University of Bonn is huge.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food options in Bonn are limited and not fully authentic. The area has Asian, Indian and Italian restaurants, 10-15 euros per meal. I prefer home-cooked meals because it help me to enjoy authentic meals and save a lot of money. You can find ingredients at the nearest Asian or Indian supermarket.
