My experience studying at Marburg
Tips: Students should be ready to study independently and in a research-oriented environment. Rules are very strict here; deadlines won't budge for anyone. It takes time to understand the study and exam pattern, but after the first semester it gets easier. Marburg is a beautiful, fairly table town, and I love the university.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is well connected by Public transportation. We get a Deutschlandticket as part of our semester fee, so no need to pay anything for travel. Only Buses are available from the main Hauptbahnhof to campus. But they have good frequency. There are different buildings for each department; for CS, it takes about 15 minutes from the main bahnof to reach campus.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no guidance available from the University or the Faculty for finding internships, as the University is more research-oriented. Students need to search and apply independently. You need to search and apply on different portals actively. There are no mandatory internships required in our course.

College gives you the best place where we could achieve our dreams and also shows a path of victory.
Tips: There was a drastic shift in the lifestyle; there are struggles and ups and downs, but at the end you will find something for yourself. No, I did not get any scholarship—I lived through a blocked amount. Colleges and universities are the best, but the living is a bit difficult.
Likes (Student Life): During my college years, the training and studies are going very smoothly—the faculty and college atmosphere are very nice. The campus organizes different programs and events during summer and even in winter. There is a student council and many more to support the students.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Looking through the career in Germany, learning the language and coming to Germany lead you to a good path for part-time as well as full-time jobs, or else it is very difficult to sustain yourself in this country. It doesn't mean you won't get jobs, but for IT, developing, and engineering sides, they don't require language issues, but for other professions, it doesn't mean they require them.

M.Sc. in Data Science - Batch of 2027

Student oriented city and university.
Tips: The transition in culture was great here. It took a little time to adjust to this culture, but it was fun and interactive. I wasn't able to avail any scholarship, since the competition was very high. MS in Data Science is a new course introduced recently, it will be improved in future, but for now it's okay. The only problem in this country is the language barrier. If you are fluent in the language, you are good to go.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus for Informatics is not well connected to the city. It is on the outskirts of the city. While the campus of Arts, Sociology, etc, is inside the city. Everything related to travelling in this city is covered by the DB pass provided by the University. The same pass can be used to travel throughout the country. It's convenient, and only a few public universities provide a Deutschland semester pass. We pay a semester contribution of 450 euros each semester and each students get a DB pass for the entire semester.
Dislikes (Internships): Internship opportunities are difficult to find here in this university because a large numbers of students are aiming for it and the availability of the internships are limited. The competition for internship opportunities are quite high and difficult. The available internships are relevant to my field of study.

Uni-Marburg is a good college if you are more of a research oriented person.
Tips: I have definitely transitioned a lot. The education system is not as easy as it is in India. It is pretty much more research-oriented. There was a big cultural shift. Starting with drinking water, public transport, dressing sense, strong cultural pride, etc. Mine is a public university, and so no scholarship exists. I applied through university-assist portals. I'm pretty much satisfied with the study part, but about the job, I have no comment yet.
Likes (Public transportation): The best thing is the transportation facilities here. Be it the Deutsche Bahn or local buses, provided by RMV, everything is pretty much connected to each other. Available modes of transport are cycle, buses, trains, etc. Pretty much all services are included in the tuition fee.
Dislikes (Internships): You actually have to do things on your own. It is pretty much the same in all universities, be it public or private. You just have to learn the language to fit in. There are relevant internships for Data Science students. But the only thing is the language barrier.

MSc Data Science & Business Analysis - Batch of 2025
Offered by EDC Paris Business School

We have to find an internship on our own.
Tips: The school has a lot of shortcomings. If you are a new graduate and looking to attend EDC, make sure you have some prior experience, otherwise you could be disappointed. It was not a positive experience. We don’t have part-time on-campus jobs here, so if you’re hoping to be doing that here, you’ll have to go somewhere else. Because it’s so tough to get a part-time job outside of campus in Paris due to the language barrier, I just don’t want anyone to find out too late that they should have focused on this. If you do have the language, though, your life here will be so much easier, if not a cakewalk, so I suggest working on that if you’re planning to come here.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation is budget-friendly and very well-planned throughout the country. We don’t need to buy cars like they do in the USA and UK, because we have access to the entire country with a monthly transport pass. It costs 86 euros per month for the transportation card, but it’s only 35 euros per month if you’re under 26.

Master of Science Fashion & Luxury Business - Batch of 2025
Offered by EDC Paris Business School

Very hands on and practical
Tips: I am studying at sup de luxe in tie up with EDC Paris. if you really want to know how the luxury and fashion worlds work then this is the place for you. Also, as sup de luxe is located in Paris there is no better place to study fashion and luxury.
Likes (Public transportation): It is a bit hard to understand and figure out public transport in Paris but once you get the hang of it, it is so quick and easy and there are so many options like bus, RER, tram, metros etc and also at a very frequent rate.
This makes getting places so much quicker.
Dislikes (Part time work): We have lectures every single day of the week from 9:30-16:30 or 10:00:17:00 and even if we have no lectures or fewer hours on some days, the part time jobs require us to be available at least 2 times a week before 15:00 for 4 hours. So I have not been able to find a part-time job yet which does cost me my goal.
