Good university for sports.
Tips: Queen Mary University is not just famous for research and being Russell Group. Queen Mary University also offers diverse courses like sports and nutrition. It is worldwide for these courses as well. I am a student of sports and nutrition doing my Master's.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport here in London is very well. Good bus offers flat 1.75 for one hour while tubes, underground and overground charge multiple fair and charges. I always preferred the bus over the tube as they were cost-efficient and saved me a lot of money. The connectivity, all around London, is very good.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): This is because of the new rail changes by the government which does not allow a smooth process for the permanent immigration settlement. The option used to be five years for the ILR, but it has increased to 10 years.

Good facilities and infrastructure.
Tips: Queen Mary University is one of the top class universities that you can get here in London. It offers loads and lots of varieties of courses whether it rates from engineering and business courses or anything related to medicine. Queen University is known for its reputation.
Likes (Value for money): I got this scholarship of 4000 from the university. My fees were around 26,000 for a Russell Group university. Queen Mary University was completely value for money because of world-class infrastructure, world-class facilities and whatnot. Queen Mary University served all of my purposes and I am completely satisfied with my university.
Dislikes (Safety): London city is not the same as it used to be. Stabbing is now common in London. Many stabbing cases have been reported recently talking about the crime of snatching phones in the central area is so common that it's been written on the street as well to be aware of the snatchers.

Great university with great faculty.
Tips: The one thing that everyone coming to London for their Master's or undergrad should know is that time here in London just passes like a second in the hand; you need to have proper planning and a proper mind map to stay happily here in London. The weather in London becomes very depressing during the winter.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transport especially in the Stratford area is fantastic. Stratford has all the public transport available. Whether it's bus, train and National Railways. You get connectivity to London via Stratford. I was living at the Aspire Point in Stratford which is the official accommodation of Queen Mary University.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It is because of the recent incident that has taken place here in London. Multiple saving cases have been reported in areas such as Wembley Hamlow and Central London and it has also been advised by the mayor as well to avoid travelling to the areas at night and multiple cases of snatching have also been reported in the central London area especially in Oxford Street.

Great choice for finance studies.
Tips: Before joining, college students must know that Queen Maria University is part of the Russell Group of universities. Therefore, the degree you'll receive after completing the course is worldwide recognised and is one of the most reputable degrees. Consequently, it is a significant advantage to consider when joining Queen Mary University for your postgraduate studies. I did avail the scholarship of 3000, which was based on my graduation marks. I am completely satisfied with my course and country.
Likes (Safety): The campus security is fully equipped with CCTV surveillance all around and a security guard guarding the entrance. The entrance is by tapping the ID card on the machines. Then only you can enter the campus. Otherwise, you can't enter the campus.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): I have rated four stars out of five for the quality of faculty. This is because of the repeated educated and experienced holder. All the faculty in the business school are experienced holders of some business.

Group university with a great reputation.
Tips: Queen Mary University of London is part of a prestigious group that is known for its innovation and research. Whistle Group is worldwide considered to be one of the most respected groups of universities. One of them, Queen Mary University, is known for its law school and business school worldwide.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The quality of faculty as well as class at the university especially in the business school, is excellent. The faculty members themselves are somehow involved in some kind of business, so they have real world knowledge of business, how business operates and what challenges are faced by your new business.

There are a lot of Indian people in London.
Tips: It’s a good college altogether, I’d recommend staying in student accommodation initially as you have a lot of company which you need. You’ll enjoy the initial phases of London being a student but it gets super tricky and depressing when you don’t seem to find a job and think it’s your fault when it’s mostly not and that the system is an issue in itself.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian people in London hence a lot of Indian food options be it budget to luxury Indian food restaurants to finding Indian food aisles in local grocery stores. A lot of things that we find in India can be found here so even cooking is easy and budget friendly.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There are a lot of visa issues in the UK especially for someone with 0-2 years of experience. The chances of getting a sponsorship are very low due to tight cuts on immigration. A lot of students from my batch decided to return to India for this reason.

Quality faculty and great education.
Tips: The University provides a body glass interest structure for class, which is an exceptional university situated in North London. One thing that one should keep in mind in that note, London is comparatively more expensive than the other parts of London, especially northern Central London, of the most expensive parts of London density.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The university is known for its reputation in research and the quality of its faculty; the university fulfilled all of my expectations. They were fine with their subjects. Most of them have some kind of business or they have some kind of business knowledge.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Because of the new roles that have been introduced by the United Kingdom government. The laws have made a permanent settlement and are quite tough. The minimum salary to get a sponsored visa has been increased to 30,000 while they are planning to introduce a law that will allow claims for ILR only after 10 years, which was earlier five years. Given a chance, I would immigrate to this country to gain work experience here.

Great university; full value for money.
Tips: Queen's University is one of the biggest university campuses area wise in London. It has not only one but also five different campuses all around London, which are for business school, law school and engineering school. Also with the university, you get many perks such as 24/7 library access.
Likes (Student Life): Queen Mary University, being a Russell Group university, provided world class infrastructure with valuable facilities, which made it a full value for Money. The faculty members were themselves experienced holders of the subjects. Most of them were PhDs and held a doctorate degree.
Dislikes (Value for money): The original fee was around 31,000 and I received a scholarship of 5000. Being a Russell group university and that too under 30,00,000 rupees becomes total value for money as a student.

Highly vibrant student life.
Tips: Queen's University, part of the Russell group of universities, is known for their reputation and research. You will experience a slight cultural shift. The people are completely different compared to India. Here, people are so concerned about themselves that they lack social life. The people here somewhere isolated. I was awarded a scholarship of 34000. That was based on my graduation marks; I'm completely satisfied.
Likes (Student Life): I stayed at Aspire Point in Stratford, where I made many friends for life and spent quality time with them. We used to go to college together and after coming back from college, we used to play games in the common area. That was the best time that I had chair in London. Apart from all these things, teaching at Queen Mary is above par, the faculty is extraordinary, they wooden extraordinary efforts for the pupils to succeed.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The variety of food is really appreciable. Here you can get every type of Indian food available, whether it's South Indian or North Indian, Punjab, Gujarat, everything is available in London. I would like to specially mention areas such as the South Pole and Wembley, which are like mini India. You will find all the Indian restaurants, Saravana Bhavan, Ananda Bhavan &in Hounslow, Bikaner Rola is also present.

Tips: It comes under the top hundred universities in the Times Group ranking. It is known for its business and engineering school and also for its loss school. It provides world-class education at the best price possible. Queen Mary University of London is one of the best universities in London. The post study jobs are listed on Queen Mary University portals. Students can see jobs there and apply directly to big firms. Jobs are also listed there. Students find it very convenient to apply for jobs.
Dislikes (Internships): Queen Mary University provide extensive support for internships and post graduation jobs. They have a complete interactive portal where jobs are listed and students of Queen Mary University can access this portal via their Queen Mary University email ID and apply for the jobs directly. Internship opportunities are also listed there. On top of that recruiter's personal email ID is also mentioned there, which makes it more convenient for these students to follow up on their application.

One of the best universities in London.
Tips: Queen Mary University is part of the famous and prestigious Russell group and is known for its engineering and business School. The Law School of Queen's University is very famous. The business school gives you practical education. Note that the theoretical lectures we attended weekly included guest speakers such as founders and CEOs.
Likes (Indian Food): London might be far from India, but Indians are not far from London. Every food action is available in London city, especially in areas like Wembley, Hounslow and Southall. These areas are also known as mini India. Wembley is accommodated by Gujarat people, whereas in Southall, you'll find more of Punjab people.
Dislikes (Safety): There have been instances reported for stabbing and snatching crime in London is now increasing day by day incident of fun. Snatching in central London is very common nowadays, and it is advised by the London City Council as well to avoid going to Shady areas during the dark.

Experience of lifetime at the heart of London.
Tips: You know that before joining Queen Mary University of London, Queen Marine University is a part of rest group universities, which is a group of prestigious universities that are known for their research and are widely known for their reputation. The university has a very big campus where you'll find every type of greenery, a huge library, which is open 24 seven for the students.
Likes (Public transportation): Because of its connectivity and punctuality, public transport in London is widespread and can take you to every part of London. The only downside of public transport here in the United Kingdom is that it's not economical. It's expensive to travel on public transport can be very heavy on the pockets.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Considering the current situation here in the United Kingdom, it's not the same as it used to be before maybe 5 to 10 years. Things have drastically changed due to increased migration in this country. The government is taking strict steps to counter immigration and is introducing a strict immigration policy is which will increase the ILR from five years to 10 years and also about the post study work visa as well. The post study work visa has been reduced to 18 months from 24 months so things are quite difficult right now for the international students.

Likes (Safety): You cannot enter Queen Very University without tapping your ID card at the entrance gate. Strict security measures are followed at the university. This is not for the London city that used to be one of the safest cities in the world is now being pushed towards crime, unnecessary crime. I would say.

There are specific Indian restaurant chains as well like Haldiram and Bikaner Wala.

Queen Mary University does not provide on campus accommodation.
Tips: First of all, Queen's University is a very huge university, but I should clarify that most of the students coming to in University doubt their accommodation. Queen Mary University does not have on campus accommodation. I was living in Aspire Point which was situated in Stratford accommodation. All these accommodations are located away from Queen's University. They have accommodation which is 10 to 15 minutes away from the university.
Likes (Indian Food): Every food option is available in London city, Queen's University, situated in North and Central London, where you can get every type of Indian food. There are multiple Indian restaurants there you can get Chai Padi as well as Chole Bhature, Pav Bhaji.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent immigration options currently in the UK are less favourable for the student as the government has made its immigration policies strict. They are also tightening up the ILR route by making it tougher. They are aiming to reduce the number of immigrants coming to their country.

Fun loving multidimensional university.
Tips: Queen Marine University is well known for its M.Sc. programmes and there are a lot of international students who take admission in the university every year. Likes (Internships): The university offers internship opportunities in London which we can apply directly through the university portals which makes it easy to apply to such an internship and also these internships are very helpful in gaining real UK world experience.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The current situation in the UK is a very tough and competitive market right now. So finding a post to study the job in the field is quite challenging. Also due to new strict policies, companies sponsoring International students are decreasing day by day and also sponsorship fee has also been hire above. The minimum salary to be sponsored has also been raised.

Huge campus and friendly environment.
Tips: Queen Mary University is part of the Russell Group which makes it a repeated university among many universities in London. The university has a very huge campus, which is full of life. Moving into London from India was a big transformation for my life in terms of friends and everything. I received well scholarship of 3000, which is an excellent scholarship that I directly availed from Queen's University of London. I'm completely satisfied with my course, country and university.
Likes (Public transportation): I was living in the Aspire Point in Stratford. Connectivity of the whole of London is best via Stratford. Stratford provides the best connectivity in terms of buses, National Railways, underground and overground trains. It takes only one bus from Apsire Point to reach Central London.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The laws introduced by the UK government which doesn't support permanent immigration here in this country. The rules are now strict and the white paper has been entered. According to which ILR will be given in note for five years but for 10 years, given a chance, I would definitely settle, but considering the situation that this country is going through right now, I would rather seek another European country for settlement.

A global education with a lasting impact.
Tips: It is located in a diverse area of London. The transition for adapting to a new teaching style a different social environment and a cultural shift particularly in the way independence is encouraged. I secured my scholarship through a competitive process which involved academic excellence and a compelling application. The allowance covered my tuition fees and a significant portion of my living expenses. I am very satisfied with the country as they have provided a fantastic educational experience and personal growth.
Likes (Student Life): Spending time with friends in common areas and sometimes participating in extracurricular activities, what I enjoy most about college life is the vibrant atmosphere and the chance to meet people all over the world. World class education with global perspective.
Tips: From India, it has been quite a significant transition. There were noticeable differences in the directness and communication in the pace of life. I did avail a scholarship which was a great help. It was through a competitive process requiring a strong academic record and compiling application. The allowance covered a portion of my living expenses. I'm very satisfied with the university's course as it is intellectually stimulating and well structured and with the UK. As my country of study, I've had a rich international experience.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The quality of faculty is above ordinary. The faculty was generally quite accessible and approachable. Often to provide extra guidance of lectures are unique teaching methodology. I observed was a strong emphasis on collaborative problem-solving. Students were encouraged to work together to find solutions in terms of diversity. The faculty were indeed quite mixed with members from various nationalities, enriching the learning environment with different perspectives.

From CBSE to UK/Scotland based curriculum.
Tips: If you are coming from a CBSE background, it is quite different being more assignment oriented rather than exam oriented, though exams are still there and have a good amount of percentage. This, while giving more freedom, also makes it challenging, while also being more current with topics and such.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teaching staff is good and helps when needed, though some don't have the same level, they all do well. Diversity is also pretty good as there are people from multiple places. The teaching methodology in my department is more practical unless it's a theoretical subject since it's mainly coding and such.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There is no permanent settlement unless you have a special government issued visa or something; there is only a renewal based system. If given a chance, I would not want to permanently immigrate to this country as, despite being good, there are better places for students or living in general. One option would be Germany but not sure about it yet.

Pretty average, would recommend only for finance.
Tips: Before joining the University of Stirling, I suggest knowing your course and checking for numerous scholarships. The location and amenities of the school are amazing, and the campus is large enough that it has plenty of various activities. I have met people who have turned into family. Unfortunately, there are some issues, such as racism that some staff members have, and they cancel classes for their protests, so I had to self-teach most of the course.
Likes (Student Life): The people and culture here are amazing. I met some absolutely crazy people who are now like family. There's always something happening on the weekends, and the library is great for late-night studying. The South Asian club organises tons of events, which is a great way to meet people from your own country.
Dislikes (Internships): This university is good in terms of its amenities, but it has no placements, gives little training for jobs and CV guidance, has mostly useless courses, and markets these courses to international students to make money. They also don't provide internships for my area of study.

Excellent faculty but fewer part-time jobs.
Tips: The transition after coming here was quite difficult as I was not familiar with the climate. The people were quite good and polite. As of now, everything is going well. Finally, the University is good for sports and the gym at the university is an advantage for us.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty at this University are quite good at teaching and are experts in their field of subjects. Moreover, their experiences and knowledge of the subjects make it easy for students to understand the topic. The majority of faculty at this University are Scottish people. More than 95% of staff are from Scotland.
Dislikes (Part time work): The part-time jobs are fewer or I can say difficult to get one as it is a small city. The city doesn't even have the size of Mysore. The population in this city is also very low. Managing a part-time job and university education is quite challenging as we have classes four days a week. The tight timetable is also an issue to the part time job.

An experience of lifetime at the University of Stirling
Tips: The university provides around 4000 pounds scholarship to Indian students to support with the application. It was a wonderful experience being a part of the University and travelling to Scotland. Different culture, yet very accepting and welcoming apart from the sightseeing you can do a lot in Scotland.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Faculty members are approachable and very well learned. You get to learn a lot from them if you keep yourself active. Teaching was a mix of theoretical and practical learning with real-life examples and workshops. Professors are from across the globe thus showing that University of Stirling is a diverse employer.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Permanent settlement depends on individuals and if you get a job of choice. There are many students who prefer to come back to their home country after graduation. And those who prefer to stay either go for sponsorship from the companies or sponsor themselves for at least couple of years (Graduate Route Visa). I preferred to return back to India to be around my people.

Best study destination for international students
Tips: There is a bit problem with part time jobs in Stirling but with time you can find one. Otherwise, it's the best study destination for international students. Faculties are always ready to help. Personal tutors are assigned to each and every student so that one can have a buddy available every time for help.
Likes (Student Life): The atmosphere here at the university of Stirling is amazing. And all the relevant facilities are available around the campus. Personal tutors are assigned to each and every student so that one can have a buddy available to solve all the problems. The most important sports facilities are amazing here at Stirling.
Dislikes (Value for money): Until you don't have a job in the UK it's expensive to spend Indian money in pounds. Finding part-time jobs is quite difficult in starting but if you keep pushing it and have a clear vision you will get a job for sure. Don't hesitate in doing any work rather accept it as a challenge and overcome it.

University of Stirling has a beautiful campus with all the facilities for sports and fitness.
Tips: The cultural shifts are quite ok and not a big deal. But the issue is managing the expenses and finding a part time job is really harder.
Moreover, the timetable at this university is little stressful. So, it will become harder again to get a part time job and lastly the attendance are important to successfully complete the masters.
Likes (Quality of faculty): All the faculties at the university are well qualified and have experience. Good learning experience as the teachers are good at teaching. Faculties at this university is really helpful in preparation of assignments and they guide you to prepare the assignments and conduct seminars.
Dislikes (Part time work): Getting a part time job opportunity in Stirling is difficult and also an on campus opportunity will be extremely difficult. It's a small city or you can say it's a village and the city depends on the university. Managing the part time job and student life is stressful. Even getting a part time job is a luck. It's not a big city to find more part time job opportunities. Working far away and traveling to the workplace is an another hurdle as it's expensive. Can't manage the expenses.
