It is a good college. But the college fee is bit more when compared to the other colleges.
Tips: Everyone will experience a cultural shift at some point in time. I did not avail of any scholarships. I took an education loan, and my allowance is also included. I am managing allowance from that loan. I am satisfied with my course but I am not satisfied with the university while the country is good.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Here the faculty experience is very good. They explain each and every doubt and are also pretty friendly. They will help you in each and every aspect. We just need to follow their instructions and do whatever they say. That's it. We will get good marks.
Dislikes (Part time work): Based on my experience in New Jersey, Indian restaurants are very less. Because of that, we can't find the job. When compared to other university campuses, part-time jobs are also not available. Here if we want to survive or to earn the basic things or money we should be familiar with the language as it gets easier to find jobs then.

Lots of research options are available here.
Tips: Students should be well prepared mentally that they will miss their home. But the maturity and experiences one will have will help him/her in his/her future for sure. Studying is hard but a lot of research options are available. The faculty is good. Friends are always there to help. The climate is moderate. You will have a lot of opportunities to get on campus jobs.
Likes (Safety): I have seen how alert the campus police is and there is something called Rowan alerts in case of emergency. Let us say that there is some emergency, then Rowan alert sends you a text regarding the areas to avoid. It is always available for students' help whenever one needs it. The Glassboro town is also safe but I would suggest you to always be careful.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): It is always difficult to get work permit in the USA. As the number of people applying are a lot more. It is a lottery system which makes it completely dependent on your luck, regardless of the field you are in. So that is why, nowadays, a lot of people are preferring other countries which have better settlement chances.

The average payout for part-time ranges from 10 to 15 dollars per hour.
Tips: Opportunities do exist they can be competitive and limited, especially for international students. On campus jobs like working in the library, dining services or as a research/teaching assistant are available but you need to apply early and be persistent. Off campus work is restricted for international students unless it's through CPT/OPT and even for domestic students, opportunities depend on local demand. Balancing part-time work with academics is manageable with good time management most students work around 10–20 hours a week. The average payout ranges from 10 to 15 dollars per hour depending on the role and experience. Rowan University has a generally safe campus with visible security presence, emergency call boxes and regular patrols but like any college town occasional incidents can happen. The university also offers safety apps shuttle services at night and student escorts for walking across campus late at night, which are reassuring. In the city of Glassboro, I’ve personally felt safe most of the time, but there have been a few late-night situations off-campus where caution was necessary staying in groups and being aware of surroundings really helps. It's a secure environment as long as you're mindful.

The university has so much exposure and hosts many on-campus events.
Tips: I experienced some cultural shifts when I came to study in this country, like a different language, thoughts, mindset and different climate as well as nature. There are lots of opportunities to get the scholarship and help the students. You should check out the university's official website to look for it. I am fully satisfied with my university, course, and country.
Likes (Indian Food): There are all types of restaurants available with all different types of dishes, both veg and non-veg. The food is a bit expensive but totally worth it based on taste and hygiene. Cooking for yourself is a better option, but eating out at times is also good.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transportation is a bit expensive and busy. The metro and bus are the main options to connect our campus to the rest of the city. They provide comfortable rides but are a bit expensive.

Average, less job opportunities and dull student life
Tips: It is an average college. The faculty is very friendly and helpful but a good and job savvy curriculum isn't available. The job market isn't that great here. Most students that passed out last year didn't get a job. If you do well it's easy to get a research internship on campus. Student life sucks here because you are basically in a village.

If you get Rowan university you are blessed.
Tips: Starting college is an exciting and transformative phase in life, but it can also be overwhelming and challenging. I did not avail of any scholarships. This college has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. The classrooms are equipped with a projector and the laboratories are spacious. The library on campus is also huge and well-maintained. This course in particular doesn't provide much post study job options but other courses do. The University has a student council for the placement. The placement process is easy and pleasant for us with easy procedures and college is supportive.

Excellent School, best on ROI.
Tips: The college offers great infrastructure, interesting subjects and excellent faculty but the student needs to be motivated to make the most of the opportunities provided to them. It requires the ability to prioritize and focus. I received merit based scholarship.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Post degree, Seattle has great potential to find employment. There are clear immigration and settlement pathways that you can pursue. OPT and H1B visa opportunities are going to be linked to employment and compensation going forward and the prospects for both is good here.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated 4/5 because roles are available but competitive. Roles like teaching assistant, research assistant, library assistant and grades are common but there are a lot of candidates and students who are applying to those roles because they are well paying.

Fun but costly learning journey.
Tips: Seattle is a great place, but plan your finances properly. I didn't get any scholarship but I worked part-time and I got that through referral. Have to do a lot of self-studying, in some courses, there was less support from the TAs, but experience was great.
Likes (Student Life): The campus had a great gym, ocean view, bowling alley. The stadium was also near the sea so we went kayaking and swimming. A lot of trips were also organised by the Foreign student groups. UW also organises bi monthly meetups with seniors where we can interact with them and learn, and sometimes dinner is also offered.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): When I graduated, there were very few Data Science jobs in Seattle, many companies didn't provide relocation support, and most needed Java skills or were only offering W2 roles. These roles in Seattle were limited, most moved to California or the West Coast. H1B sponsor jobs were very less. I would suggest at least trying to get an internship within the first quarter, before December starts, so that you can try to convert your internship company offer to full time.

An inclusive diverse and an academically rich college.
Tips: The campus events make the transition easy. I would suggest everyone try the design courses here as it's extremely well blended with research and tech as well.
Likes (Value for money): It gives a lot of great opportunities while you study here to connect with research out talk to mentors and seniors and so much more. It has events all the time to interact with industry experts and the college is very well known in the state of United States.
Dislikes (Safety): The safety at night can become a little risky. Especially if you are walking back alone at night and considering most Master's courses are in the second half and late at night you need a group to come back with. As an Indian, even racism is prevalent to a certain degree.

Good course structure. Public transportation is easy to access.
Tips: Culture is definitely present, however, it's great that people are punctual and they respect others a lot. They love to engage in small talk, which is sometimes fun. I did not avail of any scholarships because they don't provide those to international students. I am very satisfied with the university, the course is good only, the country is also good as far as I've known.
Likes (Public transportation): Seattle campus has great public transport, may it be the bus system or the underground metro. It's absolutely easy to travel around however it does take time.
Dislikes (Internships): I believe the career fair provided by the university are okay-ish and may not be that relevant to the opportunities I am looking for. However, considering the market is very bad right now, I probably can't blame them for the same. They also have career services like resume review and writing guidance which is good.

Great exposure for international students.
Tips: It is a commuter college mostly. On-campus jobs are moderately available and it's an amazing opportunity of exposure too. International students have multiple opportunities to socialize and network with the help of the events organized. Student groups are active too.
Dislikes (Safety): The campus and on-campus housing are safe. But the locations around are not as safe. The campus security ensures safety in the nearby locations and is available 24/7. They are accessible too. In general, weekdays are comparatively safer compared to weekends.

A perfect college in a perfect location with the best summer.
Tips: The culture shock is there and also be ready to face a lot of ups and downs. I was a graduate research assistant at my college and make sure you have some research experience in undergrad. I am very satisfied with my course and country and also the university.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is very good probably the best experience of your life. You have everything be it gyms, sporting events and various events and you are going to enjoy it a lot. Also, you have events at college where you can have the best time of your life and you get exposed to a variety of cultures.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Getting an H1B visa is very hard and most of the companies do not want to sponsor international students. Finding jobs is hard and getting accustomed to a new culture is never easy and sometimes you will miss family.

University of Washington is great!

The university is very open and welcoming with friendly faculty.
Tips: Student life is very good and you have a lot of opportunities to participate in a variety of activities. However, getting an H1B visa is very hard and most companies don't want to sponsor international students. Finding jobs is hard, and getting accustomed to a new culture is never easy. You will miss your family sometimes. Scholarships for abroad students are provided by many organizations and the government of India. I'm very satisfied with my course, country, and university.
Likes (Value for money): The university has a well-developed campus, excellent infrastructure, and a quality library and labs. It also has excellent placement in top multinational companies that provide excellent salary packages.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer to cook my own food, but if you don't like cooking, you can order food from restaurants near campus. The restaurants on campus and nearby have good food, but they don't serve Indian food.
