MEng in Mechatronics and Robotics - Batch of 2026
4
A supportive and career focused experience.
Tips: You will feel a complete shift if you come from Asian countries, say India. As you know it is a European country, culture difference is too different. If you are coming to Germany do learn to speak at least up to the B1 level of German. I did not get any scholarships but the allowance given is pretty good, somewhere around 1000. The course is very good, the only drawback is that the university is located in a remote place. If you are a hiking or sports person then this is a great place, the country is quite good.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The teachers are very friendly and we can ask any questions at any given time. Every lecture is about 1.5 hours and they guide us in a very good way but most of the studies should be done by us. Almost everyone is German, but they speak very good English.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I am from India and to find an Indian restaurant I have to travel at least 1.5 hours to Eisenach or Erfurt. But apart from that there are pretty good options here. I prefer cooking at home, but sometimes like 2-3 times a month I eat in a restaurant.

MEng in Mechatronics and Robotics - Batch of 2026
3.8
Quality education in a safe and peaceful learning environment.
Tips: Students should know that the college is academically focused and well structured but located in a small city so part time jobs and nightlife are limited. The transition was smooth though there was a cultural shift towards punctuality, independence and structured systems which took some time to adapt to. I did not avail myself of any scholarships however there are options available based on merit and financial need. I am satisfied with the university, the course quality and the country especially in terms of education standards safety and work life balance.
Likes (Safety): The city is very calm, student-friendly and has a low crime rate. Apart from campus security, well-lit streets, reliable public transport and quick emergency services contribute to a strong sense of safety. Personally I have had only positive experiences in the city and never felt unsafe, even at night.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time work opportunities are limited because the city is relatively small. A few on campus positions are available but they are limited and highly competitive. Off campus opportunities within the city are also restricted so many students travel to nearby larger cities to find part time work in various areas. Managing part-time work alongside academics is generally possible if limited to around 20 hours per week. The average hourly pay ranges between 13 and 15 depending on the job type and location.

Master of Science in Applied Computer Science - Batch of 2027

A good combination of studies and life.
Tips: After coming here, everything was so different and nice at first, but then the language became a barrier that will affect your daily life. Scholarships are available and you need to study very hard to get those. But the experience was great and amazing for me.
Likes (Student Life): There are many parties and extracurricular activities always going on, and the students are very friendly. People from diverse backgrounds and countries, you'll have the opportunity to experience multicultural activities and make friends from various backgrounds.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty is very knowledgeable and employs an amazing teaching style. You will enjoy your time here, with great opportunities and work options available. You can be lucky enough to secure a working student job, collaborating with professors on a daily basis on the next big thing.

Bachelors in International Business - Batch of 2027
Offered by Vilniaus Kolegija University of Applied Sciences
4.9
Vilniaus Kolegija offers quality education and global exposure.
Tips: Transitioning here was smooth, although I experienced a cultural shift in teaching and learning style. The supportive faculty, diverse environment, and practical curriculum make studying here enticing. I am highly satisfied with my course, university, and the country.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): This country offers excellent opportunities for permanent settlement thanks to its stable economy. It also has a safe environment and a welcoming culture. Clear pathways for immigrants along with a good quality of life make it an ideal place to build a long-term future.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The food options are good they aren't as diverse as in my home country. In the area there are a few international restaurants, local Lithuanian eateries and some fast-food chains. Prices are reasonable with meals ranging from €6 to €12 at casual places and higher at fine dining restaurants.

The college is very good. The lectures are excellent, and the surrounding environment is also great.
Tips: The weather can be quite cold but otherwise it's very good. The college is supportive and the courses are well-organised. There are many courses available and you can choose based on your previous learning and studies.
Likes (Safety): There are many safety measures available to students. Social insurance is easily accessible regardless of employment status. You can obtain insurance even if you're not working or are engaged in individual activities.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The country is beautiful with lots of greenery and fresh air. The work conditions are excellent and there is no toxic work culture so I would be very happy to stay.
