Going to the University at Solent is a dream come true.
Tips: I would say before coming to the UK you should know that you will get the biggest cultural shock here. The study process is very different from India. You will have assignments for your final exam instead of written exams. Scholarship here at Solent University I am not sure about this financial year you can check on the university's official website.
Likes (Internships): Getting Internships here in your relevant field is I would say a bit of a challenge. You have to have some kind of connections in the respective organisation otherwise you will miss the chance straight away. One more thing just research the UK's market as much as you can. This will give you the advantage of what and where you should target the market for your dream job.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of getting PR here in the UK is next to impossible because you have to get a sponsorship job for 5 years and then you can think of getting ILR. If someone is looking for a foreign experience only and not thinking about settling down here can consider the UK.

Tier 4 Average University for MBA
Tips: Average college which charges extra for placement. Not a good learning institution with nothing new to learn. Teachers are also not that much-educated, the teaching method is lesser than what I expected. I did not got to learn any extra skills which I already don't have and now it is too difficult to get a job even after having this MBA degree.
Likes (Public transportation): Affordable public transport, the bus is cheap like 2-3 gbp for one journey depending on the bus but if you are travelling by railway it's way too expensive. So you will have to stay in the city and there are many bus stops which connect to the university depending where you are living.
Dislikes (Part time work): Very few part time jobs on campus and town too. Expensive cost of living even if you get a part-time job it will be cleaning jobs, waiter, or food assistant mopping job which is not worth it because the rent is too high. Food is expensive and in the end, you will not save anything.

Very limited immigration opportunities; college environment and transportation facilities are great.
Tips: You should be self-sufficient to understand and re-run the course at home as well. Be ready to attend the classes as they take regular attendance for the students. There is a good teaching faculty who help you whenever you need them to.
Likes (Public transportation): The mode of transport is good and there are lots of connections to reach the campus. Buses ply every half an hour and trains are available too. The bus stop is a walkable distance from the college. You can easily travel by any means to the college and your house.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): There are no adequate campus placements that sponsor you in order to get permanent immigration. The chances are pretty low given your student tenure doesn't add up to the years required for permanent immigration. Yes, I would still permanently immigrate to this country as there are other benefits that help you to manage both work and personal life.

Grass is greener from far, always focus on your area and have plan B
Tips: Scholarship is one thing students should find out before coming here.
Job market research before choosing a course is significant for any student.
More practical studies than theory.
One need to uplift their technical skills.
There is less exposure here and the job market is difficult here.
Student discounts are one thing you should find out.
Students should get rail cards to get cheap fares.

Review of masters experience in SOAS
Tips: There are many scholarships you can apply for when applying to the university. They specifically encourage this to try to cater to students from developing countries. I did not succeed in securing one; however, I did apply. Not really much of a cultural shift.
Likes (Indian Food): London has many good options across price ranges for Indian food but also food from most countries. Since it's such a large city, you really are able to find most options, including ingredients from, say, Bangladeshi, Indian, or Pakistani stores to cook yourself on a budget.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The university does not actively provide placement opportunities post the completion of the program. Apart from some things like ODI fellowships. However, the environment encourages students to work together while finding opportunities, which works out pretty well.

Challenging but rewarding collage experience
Tips: The absolute first thing you need to realize before joining SOAS is that the workload is incredibly reading-heavy. You are given massive piles of texts every week, and because the teaching style is heavily independent and built around seminars, you cannot just coast through—you actually have to show up ready to debate and discuss the material. If your time-management skills are messy, the reading lists will swallow you whole, so you have to be proactive about hunting down help and jumping on opportunities the second they pop up.
Outside of the classroom, you’re dealing with the reality of living in the middle of London, which is a total shock to the system if you aren't prepared. You seriously have to figure out how to juggle tough classes while living in a crazy expensive city like London without completely draining your bank account. If you don't learn how to handle your own money and map out your days right from the start, the stress of trying to keep up with both your social life and the massive workload will just wreck you.

I would rate my College 6 out of 10
Tips: Settling here was not that difficult, and I transitioned smoothly. I availed an International Postgraduate Scholarship from the college. With regard to satisfaction, University needs to work on building common spaces more vibrant and friendly as there is a barrier since many students join from various faith and belief. More networking events should be organized by the Departments for the future professional pursuits of the students. London, as a city, is a good space for anyone who does land up here.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Most of the classes are designed well in advance with proper well-structured module and the faculty's pedagogy are really commendable. The tutorial after class is designed for the one-to-one interaction of students and professors which is super helpful to get your queries and concerns clear. This is the space where you may like to encounter different narratives of the same theory or question. In my department at least there are a good number of diverse professors whom I had a chance to interact with, nationality includes China, USA, Germany, India, Korea, England, Pakistan, Srilanka, etc.
Dislikes (Internships): There is no concentrated effort by the institution to the ample opportunities for the internship. There are above 5000 students and just around 40-50 internship opportunities are offered on campus. Colleges could put more effort to bring more internship opportunities outside campus with different organisations and Government agencies.

My experience at SOAS, about inclusivity and intersectionality.
Tips: SOAS has one of the most diverse crowds of all the London university's. It is located in the heart of London, and fun activities and food are all part of university life. I study M.Sc. Development studies which is ranked 2nd all over, for a person who is academically inclined SOAS is the right choice to move forward.
Likes (Value for money): I think you cannot judge education on the basis of money. And if you think the money could be an obstacle to getting a better education, then you can always gain experience and get a scholarship later. As education doesn't come with a restriction on age. If you want to get better academic exposure SOAS is a great spot and it is highly acclaimed in the academic arena.
Dislikes (Indian Food): As this University is based in the UK, most of the diet is different. There are attempts made by the University to try and adapt diverse cuisine. Meats are usually Halal which is good as it caters to everyone. There is given importance to inclusivity which is all over UK.
