Too expensive for a private university
Tips: To expensive, try for public universities, spending that much movie is a waste, for the same money you can develop skills in India and get good jobs, if you have a lot of money, then it is a good choice, for those coming on full student loans, it is a waste.
Likes (Safety): The city is safe in general, has a good international crowd, can get by knowing English, good amount of part-time jobs, good connectivity if you stay in the right place, not too crowded as Berlin, very calm and it is a beautiful city with canals and river and beach.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): When I was studying, the staff was very less, one professor handling multiple subjects, the campus was just one floor in a rented building, now they have their own building, now the fee has increased a lot and feels not worth it. Should try for public universities.

Good and but expensive
Tips: I have learnt to live independent and look after household and take care of every small stuff. I experienced a lot of cultural shift as we don't belong either to germany nor involved in our festivals There was no scholarship. Few who got it were minimal. Satisfied with everything except for feelings.
Likes (Part time work): On campus part time jobs are very less we had to search odd jobs outside. Off-campus opportunities for part time is good for odd jobs It was quite hectic to manage both and also manage household stuff. 14- 15 euros per hour is an average payout off campus.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian restaurants are not worth the money. They don't give the exact taste and are always disappointing. I would always prefer cooking at home rather than spending money on tasteless food. I enjoy cooking at home with friends and spending time together with roommates.

College is very good, friendly and welcoming.
Tips: Must learn the German language before coming to Germany because it will be easier to find good jobs. The rest of the college is very good and kindly look for accommodation before heading. Students should know that SRH focuses a lot on self learning and practical work so being proactive and managing time well is important.
Likes (Quality of faculty): After coming to Germany, every student will start growing in terms of maturity like students can be more independent which helps them to grow for the future. Moreover, it offers a balanced environment with academics, social activities and a diverse student community.
Dislikes (Student Life): The professors are knowledgeable, supportive and bring real- world insights into teaching. The faculty are very approachable and easy to reach. Always open to questions and answers. Faculty is also diverse with professors from different nationalities.

Limited internship opportunities.
Tips: The cultural shift will be the biggest change, involving people, food, and lifestyle. The bureaucracy is also high in Germany. Students should actively pursue scholarships, as they are not easily available, so stay updated each semester and ask the university before accepting admission. The university has its ups and downs, but it is well-situated in the city centre, and the course is informative with a reasonable study structure that I appreciate. Be aware that the country can be expressive and, at times, a bit racist.
Likes (Public transportation): We get a Deutschland ticket from the university each semester, which we would have previously had to pay for. This ticket allows access to all forms of public transportation throughout Germany. Alternatively, you can purchase it monthly for 30 euros.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The job market in Germany has been challenging for the past couple of years. Even with strong skills, it's difficult to secure a full-time position if you don't have good German language proficiency, which is the main reason for rejections from most companies.

Good among privates but don’t compare it with public university.
Tips: One thing students need to know is that it doesn’t matter whether you go to a public or private university, you have to work hard. Sometimes you’re working so hard that you don’t even have time to eat. I feel the tuition fee is justified for the quality they are giving, but I think there's definitely room for improvement. The Hamburg campus, specifically, needs to upgrade some aspects of its ADSA course, which is brand-new here. I think they need some more good lecturers, since the course only has two right now. Other than that, it's a great place for data science students, especially because there are a lot of opportunities in the field. That said, I'm mostly satisfied with this university and I like my course. This country is beautiful, too. But be ready to have a tough time.

No internship opportunities and able to communicate in German is a must.
Tips: I am not satisfied because they are not helping with internships. In Germany, everything is possible if we have references. This course is in English and I am looking for an internship where not that German is required as I am learning German but I am not that fluent so they should help us with how can I find an internship in any startup. Besides, the public transportation facility is affordable and convenient to go to any part of the country.

Friendly and supportive college.
Tips: SRH Berlin University has totally changed my life. It helped me in making good relations with everyone I was not the type of guy who interacted with anyone but after coming here, that was just one way to live by making good bonds, and friends. The food here is too expensive so I learned to cook myself so that I can save my money. The university is so expensive that not everybody can afford it. I feel very comfortable here because discipline is of the utmost importance. The officers, professors are very helpful and cooperative in any kind of problem. They are always there to guide to assist. The staff, the students, everybody is very friendly and of a supportive nature. The only thing to think about before coming here is just the budget as it is quite expensive than other universities.

Tips: If you guys have money and want to explore then this is the best university.
They give good knowledge in-terms of core subjects. Professors are friendly and supportive.
What I would suggest for others is before applying for SRH, they should try for a public university which can save a lot of euros.

Excellent college to get quality education
Tips: SRH campus Hamburg offers various programs with innovative, interesting and creative syllabus.
Masters programs are not only focusing on theory but also execution as well. The campus is relatively new and small compared to public universities, but it is located in the heart of the hamburg with a beautiful terrace and friendly lectures, and lovely colleagues.

Good choice, But not the Best!
Tips: Firstly, do not expect a campus that is in acres such as the public universities. The campus is small and enough for the number of students. Every college has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that there are limited amount of students so you get individual attention from the professor. I didn't find any disadvantage from the University except the tuition fees which is high but it is okay for me.
Likes (Part time work): The Hamburg city is also well known for its port and logistics. Hence there are plenty of part time job opportunities available at shifts of your convenience. You get to work in various jobs such as logistics companies, retail shops, supermarkets. But it is better to search for a student job in your field of interest.
Dislikes (Value for money): Although SRH is a private university, the tuition fees are relatively on a higher side compared to other private universities offering the same course. But it is not big of a problem taking into account that the college is very responsive to students in academics and other activities.

My college is really fine. Pretty easy going. Good faculty but of course the fees is a bit high.
Tips: Very important advice is to follow the rules here. Search for part-time jobs as soon as you land here. Do odd jobs without hesitation, as it is necessary for survival. Universities usually do not help with jobs and internships. One thing to remember, do not fall into the part-time work trap. Make sure you prioritize college over work any day.

Good semi public university with low tution fees
Tips: A better option is a public university. This is best for an SCM course, but also try to learn additional software that supports your career. In parallel, develop German language skills and always try to search for part-time jobs/internships. This gives more practical experience in supply chain along with theoretical learning.
Likes (Public transportation): The university has the NRW ticket, where students travel using public transport free of charge. The conversion of the NRW ticket into the Deutschlandticket is available, which permits the use of regional public transport throughout Germany. This is very economical since the university provides the ticket without any charge.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): German language is an important factor. The chances are high if there is high proficiency in the German language. Here, the work culture and laws for employees are very good and supportive, but all processes are in German. Additionally, this helps you grow more in an organisation while working in companies, as German speakers are preferred over non-German speakers.

Good University if you just want to enter the country
Tips: It's a private university, so there is a pretty good amount of tuition fees you have to pay (unlike the public German universities). At university, everyone speaks and understands English, but in the city you will need at least an intermediate level of German language skills. The courses will give an overview of the topics but won't go into depth (like at public universities).
Likes (Safety): The city is very peaceful and people usually mind their own business. You can roam the city just by yourself even during late night tImes.
At university you can not get inside without your id card used as access key.
I personally never felt any sign of racism or hatred
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The overall German job market is currently down, and hiring has been stagnant. To get a job, you need very strong German language skills and internal references. Salaries offered range from 44,000 euros to 50,000 euros for roles in IT, Logistics, and Management (entry-level).

A Solid Gateway to Career Success Through Practical Learning and Focus
Tips: The future applicants to SRH Hochschulcampus Hamm should be aware of the fact that the university’s approach to teaching is strongly oriented toward practical learning through projects rather than theoretical classes in the traditional sense. Even though the block-structured classes (blocks of 5 weeks devoted to a particular subject) offer the opportunity to concentrate on one discipline at a time, self-discipline is a must due to the intense pace of learning. Furthermore, although many of the master's programs, such as Supply Chain Management, are taught in English, knowledge of the German language at the B1/B2 level is necessary to get an internship and a job as a student worker (Werkstudent).

Excellent choice for internation students who are looking for Private university.
Tips: Students should know about independent learning and basic German skills. Also, I did not avail myself of scholarships during my studies. Overall I'm satisfied with my university, course and stay in Germany. The industry exposure in Germany is huge and will be really helpful for students to land a job.
Likes (Safety): I gave safety a 5 out of 5 because Hamm is honestly an incredibly chill and quiet place where you never feel like you have to watch your back. Even if you're walking home late at night from the campus or the train station, it just feels completely safe and secure. The whole town is super organized, and you've got buses running constantly so you're never stranded.
Now, to be completely real, Hamm is definitely a bit on the boring side—it’s a quiet student town, not a massive party hub. But the massive upside is that your SRH semester ticket covers all the public transit, so it's super easy to hop on a train and head over to bigger places like Dortmund, Düsseldorf, or Cologne whenever you want some excitement. For day-to-day student life, it’s a peaceful, hassle-free place to live, and my experience here has been nothing but positive.
Dislikes (Internships): There are opportunities available, but students need to be proactive in finding them. The university shares job postings and career-related information but is limited in assistance. Yes, there are internships related to relevant studies, especially in SCM and logistics.

Student life review - SRH University campus Cologne
Tips: If you're coming to SRH, you need to accept right away that you'll have to bust your gut from day one. Because of the core principle—where you focus on one five-week block at a time instead of juggling five different subjects—the academic pace hits you fast, and you can’t afford to slack off.
Don't bank on getting a scholarship here because the competition is brutal. The uni does have funding, but they screen applicants like crazy—you basically need straight A's and an insane background story just to be considered. Looking back, I’m genuinely glad I made this move. The practical, hands-on style of the course; the overall student vibe in NRW; and the way the uni sets up its projects make the whole stressful grind completely worth it.
Likes (Public transportation): I gave public transport a high rating because the connection across North Rhine-Westphalia is honestly fantastic, especially if you want to zip between Leverkusen and Cologne or Düsseldorf. The major win is the Deutschlandticket—having that covered in your semester fee makes traveling anywhere completely mindless and incredibly cheap.
The only real catch is the SRH campus location itself. It’s tucked away a bit further out, so the local buses aren't running every single minute. If you happen to miss your connection, you're pretty much stuck doing a brisk 10 or 15-minute walk to get to class. As long as you actually check the DB app before leaving your room, the regional transit is a lifesaver for getting around on the cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): The university offers guidance with CVs and cover letters. There's not much apart from this. Students are expected to be prepared to look for opportunities on their own. The internships are definitely relevant, but you get in based on skills. There is no "placement cell" department like in India.

Good transportation facilities.
Tips: I have improved myself personally in many aspects. I have learned many things. There are many cultural shifts but we can get used to it its not difficult. I didn't apply for any scholarship but if students want, they can apply as our college sponsors some of them.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships available but we should find on our own most of them college help only for a few.
They almost try to help in all the ways but we should also try on our own and try to explore more rather than depending on college completely.

The locals are friendly and helpful but try learning German.
Tips: I feel I got lucky and got a master's degree easily while some others are working hard to get one. One thing every student should keep in mind when coming here for education is to keep strong both mentally and physically when facing challenges and to learn German. You will grow higher and higher this way. Cologne is generally a safe city with strong security. It’s one of the best places to live in the Nordrein-Westfalen region. Personally, I’ve never had a safety issue and find the locals to be friendly and helpful. True, some of them may look down on me as an outsider, but there’s nothing I can do about it, so I just ignore it and go on about my business. I feel that the tuition for my course is relatively high compared to the quality of education, resources, and career support I have received. I expected more hands-on experience, industry exposure, and practical studies. I believe the program would have been better with internship support and industry connections.
