A supportive and academically enriching experience.
Tips: Students should know that the college is academically rigorous but very supportive. Time management becomes extremely important because assignments, labs, and group projects can get intensive. It's also helpful to be prepared for a collaborative learning environment where participation is expected. Having clarity about your programme requirements before joining will make the transition much smoother.

Strict academically but with a fun and happy campus life.
Tips: This is a very academically strict university with good campus life. I have learned how to manage my day and balance work and study together. Living away from family, I'm learning to do things on my own. You can also try for scholarship based on your academic performance. We have a safety shuttle that runs from 8 pm to 2 am. There are also stampede buses that run from 6 am to 2 am, and they come every 10-20 minutes. Every Saturday, there's a shopping shuttle that takes us to all the retail and food stores so we can buy all the basic necessities. Last, there's also the subway, which takes us downtown in a few minutes. Overall, I am highly satisfied with my experiences.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post study jobs are based on individual persons' performance. You should attend classes and perform well so you can try to land positions as a teaching assistant or grader, which looks good on your resume. These positions might help you get an internship that you can later convert into a full-time position.

Great university for international students especially for computer science.
Tips: I didn't experience a great cultural shift at this university, and I found like-minded people in my class. The professors are very nice and approachable, and they teach the course material very well. The course structure is good, and the teaching staff is diverse in nationality. Most of the teaching and course structure is very practical, which I really appreciate. However, I didn't get any scholarship because my CGPA was not very good. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the university.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): SUNY Buffalo State has a good reputation, which makes it easier to get a job after graduation. This makes it easier to get permanent immigration options. However, I'm not planning to immigrate to this country. If I get a chance, I might consider moving here.

SUNY Buffalo is an amazing college with advanced facilities.
Tips: Before joining SUNY Buffalo, students should research the professor and their courses. They should also research what the course curriculum and the course content will be. Students should also ask if they will get an internship after their third year at SUNY Buffalo, and it's important to look into the rankings of the school and the class sizes to get an idea of whether or not SUNY Buffalo is a good fit for them. The University of Buffalo is a great school. It has a strong faculty and great professors. They can really give you an enhanced education in your field. The school does a good job of offering a very diverse group of extracurricular activities that are great for learning new things and meeting people. The dining hall food is also really good for college dining.
Dislikes (Internships): SUNY Buffalo has strong connections with industries. which provides students with hands-on experience and practical learning skills, and they can gain more knowledge about their field. By gaining hands-on training through interships students can be more expertise in their field.

Embracing growth and learning.
Tips: Students should try to build relationships with students from other countries instead of just their own country. This will help you gain more knowledge and get American ascent, which is very important in the USA. Also, make a good circle of friends, make connections with faculty, come out of your comfort zone, and try to learn something new each day.
Likes (Part time work): My college ensures 100% on-campus jobs for all international students, offering roles like teaching assistant, dean's assistant and dining services. They pay a minimum of 12.5 Dollars per hour and you can work up to 20 hours in week. So I strongly recommend joining this university.
Dislikes (Public transportation): We do have only public transit from Monday to Friday, and it doesn't run on time. From my place student living location to the college is 15 miles, and I have to change 2 buses to reach my college or any other destination.

Beautiful North East place, Good college with outdated IT course
Tips: Initial days were tough. It was a big cultural shift, especially for anyone from rural parts of India. Time heals and we grow, get better, and get familiar with the culture. I have received a 2000 USD scholarship from the University and I guess anyone with decent scores secure it during the admission process. I'm not satisfied with the course, it is pretty outdated, and the same professors teach multiple courses which means that the university is not very serious about the course. The college is fine, good infrastructure, and student-friendly. The USA is a great place to learn and grow, the only thing student needs to consider before coming here is the cultural shift and leaving family.
Likes (Public transportation): Manchester city transportation is great. Students get free transportation on all the city buses and there is a bus every 45 minutes from 5 AM to 9 PM. Students have to get the bus pass from the college student center.
Manchester public transport runs buses to other nearby cities Nashua, Goffstown and Capital city Concord which is a great thing for students.
Dislikes (Value for money): Fee per course is 2100 USD. 13 courses in total. Student pays around 23 Lacs INR only to get the Completion Certificate. You'll be given only assignments. No quality classes, no experienced professor, no real-time examples. There are exceptions, of course, Indian and Afro American-origin professors are of the highest quality.
