MSc in International Business Management - Batch of 2026
5
A transformative academic and cultural journey.
Tips: Before joining this college, students should be prepared for an academically rigorous yet rewarding experience. Time management is key here, as balancing coursework with extracurricular activities can be challenging but also very fulfilling. The university provides strong academic support and an inclusive environment, so students should make the most of the available resources and not hesitate to ask for help when needed.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Student life here is vibrant, inclusive, and full of opportunities for personal growth. The university fosters a great balance between academics and extracurricular activities, and the atmosphere on campus is always lively and engaging. There's something for everyone, from cultural fests to sports tournaments and workshops.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is highly experienced, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success. They not only have strong academic backgrounds but also bring industry-relevant insights into their teaching. Their guidance has helped me understand complex topics with clarity and depth.

MA in Culinary Arts Management - Batch of 2024
3.6
University College Birmingham is fun place with lots of extracurriculars and events.
Tips: The college has a diverse culture, which can be a bit difficult to adopt but is not impossible. It takes time to learn their culture, language, and food habits, but eventually, you will get it. I was happy to receive a 1000-pound scholarship from the university, and I am glad to be studying at UCB because it is the only college in the UK that offers my course of study.
Likes (Student Life): Student life at University College Birmingham is a lot of fun. The campus is next to everything you need, from nightlife to daytime activities. There are cultural events happening every month, which is a great way to promote unity and diversity among the students.
Dislikes (Part time work): On campus, it is very difficult to get a part-time job because the university prioritizes UK-based students who have UK experience. However, it is easy to manage a part-time job during university hours because most places only offer 20 hours of work per week and the work is very flexible. The average pay is 11.20 per hour.

MA in Culinary Arts Management - Batch of 2023

Not satisfied with the course and faculty.
Tips: Cultural shift was actually a productive thing for me. You will get to see different lifestyles, different views of living different cultural views. No scholarships were given and I am not satisfied with the course and university. Country is okay, you will get the abroad vibes
Likes (Indian Food): You get a variety of food options. Pricing is okay, depends on what food you want or what restaurant. Lots of Indian restaurants. Lots of Indian grocery shops around. So no struggle to get home food. I prefer to cook. For me, home food is always the best food.
Dislikes (Value for money): The college is not value for money because you expect that you will get to learn about some specific things and you get to see something else. Very few or no practical lessons. Guidance from the professor is very poor. They really don't try to help. They will give you time and you need to get your problem sorted within that minimum time, it does not matter if it's solved or not.

Safety is a concern here.
Tips: Be well prepared for the level of assignments and the stress related to them. Every student gets a scholarship for the course. The best option is to go for the placement/internship offered. The city is more silent than other major cities and has barely or no nightlife and hence reduces the opportunities for nighttime jobs. Job opportunities depend on the seasons heavily.
Likes (Public transportation): Campus is in the heart of the city, with excellent connectivity to different parts of the city too. There are bus services, metro services, trains, and cab/taxi services that students can avail of at discounted rates and passes would also be available for frequent travellers.
Dislikes (Safety): Crime rates are extremely high, no safety while walking alone on roads. University encourages students to use safety apps to always share location and details with trusted people so that students can remain safe. Daily news about crimes and incidents around the city creates a bad atmosphere too.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Middlesex University London
4.7
Challenging at first but fun and easy going once you settle in.
Tips: Students at Middlesex University should know that when they choose their accommodation, they should consider whether they'll be sharing with a friend, which can be much cheaper than solo accommodations. London has good transportation. You can easily find a bus that arrives every 5 to 10 minutes. They’re open 24/7 and are safe and affordable. The subways or metros are more expensive but run until 12 midnight. The best time to come is between January and April, since there are a lot of part-time job opportunities in the summer. The job market is down between September and December, so there are fewer opportunities to support your expenses. The MBA program is also very good. You get weekly sessions with professionals who are experienced in their fields. They guide the students and share insights on how to get the best jobs. The capstone project helps give students hands-on experience working with companies in London. The university gives students multiple company and subject options and helps them find ones that are best for them. The University also provide the scholarship option where students can get a 2500GBP scholarship in fees. Also, the university helps the student in fee payment options, where they provide the instalment option to students for fee repayment.
Likes (Student Life): Student life here at Middlesex University is the best. I love that there are so many activities on a weekly basis, and the university shares regular updates about them through the MDX application and encourages participation. It’s also really cool that there's a student selection process every year, where students have the opportunity to become student president, student support officer, or event committee member.
Dislikes (Internships): Middlesex University has a department called MDXworks where the team helps students with resume building, feedback on what to mention and what to write in order to attract the best job that suits them better, career counselling, and so much more. In London, there are so many internship opportunities where students can apply, but there's a lot of competition, and your application has to stand out to be selected.

A smooth cultural shift with great learning opportunities and support.
Tips: Before joining, it's essential to know that the college offers a supportive environment for International students, making the transition smoother than expected. I did experience a cultural shift, but the university organises various events to help adapt, I received a partial scholarship based on academic merit, which helped ease some financial burdens, though the allowance varies by programme. Overall, I'm highly satisfied with my course and university, as they provide excellent resources, diverse cultural exposure, and valuable networking opportunities in the UK.

MSc in Data Science - Batch of 2023

Perfect to gain knowledge and experience new things
Tips: The modules for this course are taught well, starting from the basics so the concept is quite clear for the students. But before joining any course students should know about the university and professors who will be teaching the subject and they definitely should know about their modules. I would advise students to prepare the modules before the course starts as this preparation will help them understand the classes better.
Likes (Student Life): Students can enjoy their teaching sessions and free time equally and mostly they will help us gain knowledge in different topics by conducting Zoom classes. If they want to join in sports they can and to encourage students' health and fit life, they will give free rewards for walking through mdxmoves app.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Everything is taught well from the basics for people who are new to the course. If you are from a different background they will help you learn things easily by providing guidelines like where to start and all. And for the assignments, it will be easier for you as they provide everything they taught in the Moodle app.
