Valuable student experience at the University of Birmingham.
Tips: Most of the students that you will find here in college will be Indian and Chinese students, so you guys should be looking for opportunities and talk to everyone. The assignments here have a strict plagiarism check and you should never delay the submission of your assignment as the deadlines are strict. The teachers are very nice and you can also book appointments with college career coaches and staff which can be very helpful. Good experiences so far.
Likes (Safety): Dubai is known for the safety standards it provides; it is by far the safest place someone can come. Clean roads with 100% safety, girls can go around the city anytime and will feel completely safe everywhere, there are cameras and police patrolling everywhere.
Dislikes (Public transportation): There is no metro connection to the college as it is in DIAC and bus connections take too much time and require many bus changes. Only places like DSO and Dubailand have good connectivity to the college, otherwise it takes too much time to commute to the university and back, or look for accommodation with a shuttle service.

UoBD is the only top 100 university to have its own branch in the UAE.
Tips: UoBD is the only top 100 university to have its own branch in the UAE. The exchange program to the UK campus provides additional exposure and better connections. A downside is that the campus is on the outskirts of Dubai, and most students are local, so the social life isn't great. In conclusion, it's a very safe option for Indian students, as Dubai is a booming spot for both education and careers. Overall, the university campus and faculty are top-notch.
Likes (Indian Food): Food will never be a problem for Indian students. Indian food is available at the university, and you can also opt for tiffin services at a very affordable rate in your accommodation, so you don't have to cook. Going to good restaurants downtown can be expensive.
Dislikes (Part time work): The university offers numerous clubs and activities, but participation is primarily among second and third-year students. Additionally, off-campus work is not feasible due to student visa restrictions limiting work hours to 48 per week, and UAE recruiters generally do not hire students on student visas.

Amazing course in robotics.
Tips: There is a cultural shift but not too much of a transition. It again boils down to the lifestyle of an individual. If you are open to trying new things, I would suggest to go for it. I haven't availed any scholarship yet.
Likes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants and stores available here at reasonable prices. Indian groceries are easily available here and there are many options available too. Sometimes you'll have to be open to trying new food options. I prefer cooking myself and occasionally having food outside.
Dislikes (Internships): We get support from the university in finding internships, but it again depends on what relevant field we want to focus on. There are a lot of available internships in my field of study. Sometimes we have to be patient enough to find the right one. My course doesn't have a mandatory internship course.

Practical and career ready education.
Tips: Learn German. Know about scholarships. Be prepared to work hard because the course is hard. Know about the course structure before coming. Learn about the basic stuff which are related to the course. It is an applied Science University, so be ready to get your hands dirty practically.
Likes (Value for money): We spend around 300 euros per semester, which includes a public D-ticket. Our labs are well equipped with many resources and professors are involved in fascinating research. We have around 7-8 roots and also many more coming in the future. For these feels, you are getting most of the things.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have seen many other universities posting jobs daily. But in our university, we get emails randomly, that too most of which are German-specific jobs. Also job market is very bad at this moment, so getting jobs outside is also getting very difficult, so many students do odd jobs.

Learning comes out of comfort zone.
Tips: All the prerequisites provided in the course page must be known to the student applying for the course. There are scholarships depending on the grades you get. The university is difficult by Indian standards but there are lots and lots of things which we can learn through experience. Everything here is about failing quickly in order to also learn things quickly.
Likes (Public transportation): There are Deutchebahn facilities all over the city starting from trams to ICEs. The train timing might be a little off sometimes but no matter where you are there is always a way out through transportation! People here are also more friendly and do help us. It is never like what is told on the internet.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I mostly cook for myself but I also enjoy eating out on special occasions. Groceries are readily available at nearby stores and there are many Indian restaurants in the area. I would recommend cooking and preparing your own meals. Good luck with the cooking.

Adapting, learning and growing at Hochschule Bonn Rhein Sieg.
Tips: Before joining, know that the university is academically strong and except self-initiative. Adapting to a new culture was challenging, but learning German helped. I didn't avail myself of any scholarships, but there is no tuition fee.
Likes (Safety): Bonn feels very safe, even at night. Regular police patrols, good public transport and well-lit streets. The city is peaceful with low crime rates, but avoid red light areas. I haven't had any bad experiences so far. You can consider it a student city as the University of Bonn is huge.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Indian food options in Bonn are limited and not fully authentic. The area has Asian, Indian and Italian restaurants, 10-15 euros per meal. I prefer home-cooked meals because it help me to enjoy authentic meals and save a lot of money. You can find ingredients at the nearest Asian or Indian supermarket.
