"Diverse Campus, Smooth Transition, Solid Value" — that's the title
Tips: Before joining, know Dubai's fast-paced and multicultural u2014 be ready to adapt. Transitioning here meant adjusting to new social norms and a diverse classroom, which broadened my perspective. I applied for a scholarship via UOWD's portals. Overall, I'm satisfied with the course, campus, and life in the UAE.
Likes (Public transportation): Personally, I'd rate it 5 u2014 getting to campus is easy. The free shuttle links us to the Dubai Internet City metro, with buses and a tram nearby too. Transport feels affordable and convenient, though the shuttle transfers add a small wait compared to being right on the metro line.
Dislikes (Internships): At UOWD, I'd rate internships 4/5. Career Central + pros guide CVs, listings, and applications well. Most roles fit my field, but niche internships need self-hunt. Rated 4 as career services actively help with resume building and interview prep, plus regular internship postings via the portals. Guidance is solid u2014 advisors assist with applications. Internships mostly align with my field, though options could be broader for niche specialisations.

Master of Supply Chain Management - Batch of 2025

Road to Success isn't hardwork, it starts with consistency.
Tips: The adjustment was not difficult for me as I was born and brought up in Oman itself. But there were a few of my friends who shifted from India and found some difficulty with the cost of living, as everything here is expensive. However, the country is one of the safest countries in the world, but again, with a price, and above all, the standard of living here is something that cannot go unnoticed by anyone. So, whatever may be a problem for the student initially in terms of being expensive, he will start getting used to it once he starts earning his salary. It is quite equivalent to the cost of living. The university as a whole is excellent. Quite professional, cooperative, and strict with its curriculum. From an examination perspective, it is a piece of cake.
Likes (Post study jobs): I got my full-time paid internship in my second Sem and later got absorbed into the company with a work visa after 6 months. There are a few companies that do this. The rest require experience. And post master's or bachelor's, it's relatively easier to get into a company through an internship rather than directly applying for a permanent position. Companies do not really value Indian experience much, as things work differently here in terms of functioning and operational aspects.
Dislikes (Part time work): You cannot work part-time in Dubai like in European countries, it's quite rare, even if some organizations offer part-time opportunities. However, you can do a full-time internship while doing a master's. Average pay for an internship can range from 3k to 5k AED per month.

It is very safe nd good..
Tips: Yes, I got a scholarship from the university, and I contacted a professor who helped with the process. My course has all the subjects that help me in the industry to build my career. I am very satisfied because there are so many clubs and events held here.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty are very good because they help the weak students and do not burden the students with taking maximum subjects. They mainly help you out getting good scores even after college hours. They also help you give guidance on how to build job connections.
Dislikes (Value for money): Yes, it has all the major subjects to succeed in my future. I have rated my college 4 because it is the best place any student can get. It has a built-in library, parking, and a canteen and also a good local commute; plus, the study is also world-class. They have good connections with the companies for jobs.

Master of International Business - Batch of 2025

Dynamically tempting but supportively slow.
Tips: One must be outgoing and dynamic before attending this college. If you are self employed then fine otherwise try to build some skills of extroversion as it will help you in the long run in the UAE. Develop that strength to know more about what is going on in this world. It will look like India but it is not India when it comes to settling down.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Not only by their academic accreditation but the depth of knowledge they carry is sublime and polished. Go and have 1on1 sessions with them regarding your research and you’ll find yourself in an ocean. For post graduate students who will be taking Marketing or Finance as their specialisation you should have professional sessions with the academic professors every single month as it will make you gain a lot.
Dislikes (Part time work): As per the laws in UAE, legally you can’t do part time work. But if you get an internship during your masters you can work in the day and attend classes in the evening. Post graduate lectures are conducted in the evening. But for Bachelors you can’t work part time.

Dubai is a very multicultural city.
Tips: Since Dubai is a very multicultural city, the transition was quite smooth. People from many different nationalities live and work here, so it's easy to adapt. I didn't experience a major cultural shift, and the environment felt quite welcoming. I did not receive a scholarship, but I was eligible for the UAE Golden Visa under the Outstanding Student Category based on my GPA. I was satisfied with my experience. The course was practical and relevant to the industry, the university provided a supportive learning environment, and Dubai offers good career opportunities for students and professionals.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): The UAE has introduced long term visa options like the Golden Visa, which makes it easier for people to stay here for many years. Dubai also offers good career opportunities and a high quality of life, which is attractive for professionals. I would definitely consider staying in Dubai because of the safety, lifestyle, and career opportunities here.
Dislikes (Student Life): I was doing my Master's while working full time. My classes were usually in the evening and sometimes went on until night, so most of my time was split between work and attending lectures. Because of this, I didn't really have much time to participate in college events or student activities. My typical day was work during the day and classes in the evening. Even though I didn't experience much of the student life, I still enjoyed the learning and interacting with classmates who were also working professionals.

Master of Arts (MA) in Educational Science in Intercultural Communication and Education (In German) - Batch of 2026
Offered by University of Cologne

Theoretical, Prestigious, opportunities
Tips: I would suggest choosing the University more for its location, being in a big city offers you more opportunities and more international opportunities. University of Cologne is very difficult to get into and has a big name, but the courses are heavily academically oriented and sometimes lack the practical depth required in the job market. But the location is golden, Ku00f6ln, Du00fcsseldorf and Bonn have a huge number of Job opportunities and are very friendly and good for international students.
Likes (Safety): I think you can access most public spaces safely, even at night around the campus. I have not faced any form of discrimination at the campus or at the University as a person of colour. Secondly, as a woman, I have accessed the library at night and come home completely safe.
Dislikes (Value for money): The course was very theoretical and less practical. If you are taking an academic loan and indebting yourself for this course, in my honest opinion, it is not worth it. I studied on a full scholarship, that is why it worked out, but if I had to pay out of my own pocket, I am not sure if I would be comfortable doing it.

Good education but not fitting exactly into job market
Tips: German culture is quite different; they are more introverted than Indian students, but they are still kind in most cases, at least in my study program. They are not as welcoming as Indians. No scholarships. Satisfied with university but could have offered or tried more in terms of placements.
Likes (Value for money): Yes, it is extremely low considering the standard of education. There is definitely a lot of effort put into improving the quality of education on a regular basis. The only issue is that the coursework doesn't directly match jobs outside academia.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I usually prefer cooking for myself. Indian food here generally costs around 15 euros or more per main dish at least, and they taste mediocre. I think I make better food, and it's cheaper and healthier to eat at home. If I eat out, it's only because I'm too tired or craving something specific.

The cities are quite safe and friendly in Germany.
Tips: There are plenty of difference cultural, however it is not vast in the big cities. The BCGS scholarship is the best for Physics students coming to Bonn and Cologne. I am quite satisfied with the course and in general, I like Germany as well however finding full time jobs in 2026 is not easy. You should be aware of this.
Likes (Safety): In Germany the cities are quite safe and friendly, and the campus is open; in fact you can choose to go sit in any given class. Outside the university, most of the time it is safe, but in big cities like every part of the world, there are pretty crimes. I felt safe for the most part.
Dislikes (Internships): Finding internships is something that the college may help with only a little, as there is no placement cell, etc. However, there are possibilities to look for internships through friends and referrals, which is the best case scenario, and always try looking for connections.

University of Cologne is academically oriented.
Tips: Germans are very cold and serious. I didn't have any scholarship. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my experience. Job market in Germany is good, but not for non German speakers. Professors and the university staff are usually very friendly and polite. It is better to learn German to better fit into the society.
Likes (Value for money): As it is super cheap compared to British or Irish or USA universities. German universities cost around 1k or 2k per year only. So it is great for value for money. However, not speaking Germany is hard for finding a job and living in Germany. Therefore up to you.
Dislikes (Part time work): Unfortunately I joined during covid so we could not experience part time work or seminars, or any online activities. We did not have the opportunity to experience ordinary student life due to the pandemic. But maybe now it should be better. Most of our classes were offline.
