The university has a rich heritage and stands for excellence.
Tips: Amsterdam is a fun and interesting place to explore. There are many museums to explore, and with a museum card, you can visit over 500 museums in the Netherlands. There are also many academic institutions in the Netherlands.
Likes (Indian Food): There are many Indian stores in Amsterdam due to the large Indian population, and the prices are affordable. There are also many diverse food options available. I prefer cooking for myself as it is more affordable, and there are good canteens at the university as well.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The campus is well-connected to the city via trams and buses. It is affordable with the OV chip. Most people use separate cycle lanes. Hence, it is a very good city in terms of transportation. Also, it is easy to travel to nearby countries.

4.2
A supportive academic environment with cultural enrichment.
Tips: Before joining this university students should know that the university offers a supportive academic environment, but finding part-time work requires initiative, as roles are not always publicized. While I didn't avail myself of any scholarships, the resources provided for student support are extensive, aiding in adaptation. The country offers permits, allowing non-EU graduates to stay up to 12 months to seek employment or start a business. Over 9,000 companies in the Netherlands are recognised sponsors authorized to hire international talent and sponsor work visas. Notable companies include Booking.com, Bunq, and Netflix.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finding on-campus opportunities requires initiative, as universities often don't directly publicize part-time positions. Generally, students must proactively search for these roles, whether through departmental emails, or networking with faculty and fellow students.

Good university education with difficulties faced because of administration.
Tips: Might face issues with administration but the education quality is good because of good faculty. Lecturers are very helpful and create a fun learning environment. Weekly case studies are provided to help practical learning. Emails are responded to within 2 working days
Likes (Public transportation): Good connectivity and cheap public transportation. It is quite easy to understand and learn the ways to get to places. Apps are available for every public transport for the public. They are very easy to understand and follow. They are free of cost and if any issues you can approach the help desks at every MRT station.
Dislikes (Internships): No opportunities were provided that were relevant to my stream. Even though there were some opportunities provided for every other stream, unfortunately, we weren't. This was quite difficult as we were doing everything ourselves without any help in a foreign country.
