The following Bachelor's degrees qualify students for admission to the Master's degree programme in Bioinformatics:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Bioinformatics, Computer science, It, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Biology, Molecular biology, Molecular Medicine, Agrobiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Medical chemistry or Nanoscience from a Danish University.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with additional courses (15 ECTS) within Computer Science, or Cognitive Science with additional courses (15 ECTS) within Biology or Molecular Biology from a Danish University.
The following other degrees may provide admission to the Master's degree programme in Bioinformatics:
- A Bachelor's degree containing basic elements within Mathematics and Statistics of min. 15 ECTS credits, and in addition with basic subject elements within either Computer science, Molecular biology and Genetics or Bioinformatics of min. 15 ECTS credits give admission to the Master's degree programme, if they also contain additional subject elements of at least 60 ECTS within at least one of the subject areas (Statistics, Computer science, Molecular biology and Genetics or bioinformatics).
- Other qualifications can provide admission to the Master’s degree programme, provided the university assesses that their level, extent and content correspond to the degrees mentioned above.
