The Copenhagen University deadlines vary by program. Copenhagen University majorly has two intakes in a year. First, in February, for which you should start your application by October of the previous year as an International student.
- UG: Jul 5, 2025
- PG: Sep 1, 2025 (Feb intake)
Copenhagen University Visa Requirements for International Students
After getting the admission confirmation from Copenhagen University, the students must arrange all these documents with the VISA fee:
- A valid Passport
- Passport type photos
- Official documents (academic records) transcripts
- English or Danish Language Proficiency Proofs (It varies on, whether you are going to study for PG or UG)
- A signed and completed ST1 form
- University Acceptance letter
- Proof of arrangements of accommodation
- Proof of minimum funds to live in Denmark (EUR 1,000/month = INR 92,000/month)
- Receipt of application fee payment
The VISA application fee for Denmark is EUR 250 (INR 24,000) which is non-refundable in case of a rejection.

University of Copenhagen takes students from all around the world, but not all the programs offered are taught in English. UG courses are only taught in Danish, so the International students must take the exam of Studieprøven i dansk, and prove the native level of this language.
Most of the PG programs are taught in English, so the International students have to prove their English proficiency by taking TOEFL/IELTS or Cambridge English test.
