Tips: The first semester is usually tougher than the subsequent ones. It's normal, but you have to actively put an effort in or you'll end up with backlogs. The university offers some fee waivers, and one can also apply for a Charpak scholarship. The university offers assistance and guidance during the internship process, however, applicants must apply for internships on their own. ECN candidates enjoy an advantage when applying for internships, as our university is a prestigious "Grande École" and it’s particularly true for those seeking opportunities in hydrodynamics. This is because the ocean engineering department at Ecole Centrale de Nantes (ECN) is known for its research capabilities and specialized expertise. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the course and the university. I would recommend this university to other students.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The cost of food is comparable to living expenses in other parts of Europe. I prefer to do my own cooking, but when I go out to eat, a meal costs an average of 15 to 20 euros. There is a great variety of food choices available, including Asian, Indian, Japanese, and even Italian restaurants, particularly downtown. Grocery shopping for a week for one person will cost 20 to 25 euros.
