- Applicants must have the successful completion of a university degree in logistics, in production and logistics or in business administration with a focus on logistics from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences or in a comparable degree with the minimum degree "Bachelor of Engineering", "Bachelor of Science" or "Bachelor of Arts" and an overall grade of 2.3 or better.
- The qualifying course must have a minimum of 210 credits with no fewer than 30 credits in logistics.
- Applicants who have not yet completed their relevant degree can take part in the selection process if they can prove at the time of application that they are still 30 credit points short of obtaining their degree (i.e. at least 150 of 180 credit points for 6-semester courses, 180 of 210 credit points for 7-semester courses).
