- Electrical engineering, information technology, industrial engineering (specializing in electrical engineering) or a related subject with electrical engineering components to the same extent (e.g. computer science with a specialization in embedded systems)
- The scope of the first degree should be 210 ECTS points or a standard study period of at least 7 semesters at a university
- The degree must have been assessed with a grade point average of 2.5 or better
