Research oriented approach
Tips: Before joining, make sure to carefully go through the course catalogue and module descriptions to make sure the available subjects match your interests and career goals. Please visit university website of your department and see the conditions to fulfil the master's. Based on this, you can actually calculate how long it will take for you to complete your master's. Also, sometimes they give you a conditional offer letter, which is like completing a bachelor's module while you do your master's. pls note conditional module should be completed within 4 semesters.

College gives you the best place where we could achieve our dreams and also shows a path of victory.
Tips: There was a drastic shift in the lifestyle; there are struggles and ups and downs, but at the end you will find something for yourself. No, I did not get any scholarship—I lived through a blocked amount. Colleges and universities are the best, but the living is a bit difficult.
Likes (Student Life): During my college years, the training and studies are going very smoothly—the faculty and college atmosphere are very nice. The campus organizes different programs and events during summer and even in winter. There is a student council and many more to support the students.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Looking through the career in Germany, learning the language and coming to Germany lead you to a good path for part-time as well as full-time jobs, or else it is very difficult to sustain yourself in this country. It doesn't mean you won't get jobs, but for IT, developing, and engineering sides, they don't require language issues, but for other professions, it doesn't mean they require them.

Student oriented city and university.
Tips: The transition in culture was great here. It took a little time to adjust to this culture, but it was fun and interactive. I wasn't able to avail any scholarship, since the competition was very high. MS in Data Science is a new course introduced recently, it will be improved in future, but for now it's okay. The only problem in this country is the language barrier. If you are fluent in the language, you are good to go.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus for Informatics is not well connected to the city. It is on the outskirts of the city. While the campus of Arts, Sociology, etc, is inside the city. Everything related to travelling in this city is covered by the DB pass provided by the University. The same pass can be used to travel throughout the country. It's convenient, and only a few public universities provide a Deutschland semester pass. We pay a semester contribution of 450 euros each semester and each students get a DB pass for the entire semester.
Dislikes (Internships): Internship opportunities are difficult to find here in this university because a large numbers of students are aiming for it and the availability of the internships are limited. The competition for internship opportunities are quite high and difficult. The available internships are relevant to my field of study.

Uni-Marburg is a good college if you are more of a research oriented person.
Tips: I have definitely transitioned a lot. The education system is not as easy as it is in India. It is pretty much more research-oriented. There was a big cultural shift. Starting with drinking water, public transport, dressing sense, strong cultural pride, etc. Mine is a public university, and so no scholarship exists. I applied through university-assist portals. I'm pretty much satisfied with the study part, but about the job, I have no comment yet.
Likes (Public transportation): The best thing is the transportation facilities here. Be it the Deutsche Bahn or local buses, provided by RMV, everything is pretty much connected to each other. Available modes of transport are cycle, buses, trains, etc. Pretty much all services are included in the tuition fee.
Dislikes (Internships): You actually have to do things on your own. It is pretty much the same in all universities, be it public or private. You just have to learn the language to fit in. There are relevant internships for Data Science students. But the only thing is the language barrier.

A Positive Experience with a Challenging Academic Environment
Tips: Workload in the Academic Environment: The courses can be theoretical, and they are time-consuming as well. Language Integration: The courses are conducted in the English Language; however, one must know the German Language for integrating with the society, maintain daily life maintenance as well as to get job placement opportunities during or after the studies. General Experience: I had a tremendous experience with the university, the course, as well as the overall stay in Germany. However, one must have a strong independent academic background from the very beginning.
