- All applications with a foreign B.Sc. degree will be reviewed before the decision on admission is made to ensure that their degree is equivalent in academic performance to the B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry at RUB. This assessment is carried out by the Faculty's Biochemistry Examination Board. A degree programme in biochemistry at a German university is automatically recognised as equivalent.
- The Biochemistry Examination Board also checks whether internships have taken place to the required extent during the Bachelor's degree programme attended by the applicant. For this purpose, the number of credit points acquired from internships is evaluated, which must amount to at least 1/3 of the total Bachelor's CP acquired. To assess the creditability of internships, a specification sheet for internships submitted by the applicant is used.
