Good place to learn if you are willing to be proactive and disciplined.
Tips: Do not expect to be spoon-fed anything (this holds for all education programs/universities). If you need help with studies, reach out proactively to professors. If you need to find internships, reach out to the alumni network or start networking. If you need part-time work, then visit a few places on the ground, for example, restaurants or shops. + Maintain good fiscal discipline, but don't forget to have fun on the side.

If willing on paying tuition fees, then do MBA in India.
Tips: My personal development was a lot but I was expecting more from the university and the course. 80% of the students were from India. My batch had about 25 students. Of these, 5-6 students did not get a job, and some went back to India. Some of them started a new master's course just to stay in Germany. 2-3 students did not look for a job and went back to their home country. On a scale of 1 to 10, my satisfaction is at 6. Whatever I achieved is only because of me and not much contribution from my university and course. The only push I got from our dean was that I was recommended to a company where I did my Master Thesis and later got a job offer. Professor recommending is the only push I got and nothing else. Getting a job offer was completely my achievement.
Likes (Safety): Heidelberg is one of the safest cities I have lived in. As a lively student city, it has a large international crowd that makes newcomers feel welcome, and there are very few homeless people around, so walking on the street feels comfortable even at night.
Dislikes (Internships): At the time when I was a student, there was no compulsory internship option. Plus, not many professors and universities had tie-ups with local companies to provide internship opportunities. A full-time internship by taking a break semester is not allowed. And if we did so, then we would need to pay extra per month, which was too costly.

Expensive Paid Vacation considering now fees structure
Tips: The main factor is the German language, if you can speak the language, then a whole world of opportunities will arise. Moreover, it provides an edge in your behaviour and presentation. No scholarships, Uni - 3, Country - 8. The main cultural shift is that we Indians are loud and undisciplined about public decorum, but here everyone respects the silence in public places.
Likes (Safety): I generally felt good about the city, as it is culturally rich and many universities are there as well. Well, many good experiences cannot be boiled down to 1 or 2. Well, there are many international students in the city, with many opportunities to learn about every culture in the world.
Dislikes (Value for money): Because the private uni in Germany costs easily 30 Lakhs. Instead, they can go to Ireland, as it is an English-speaking country, and not worry much about the language. So it is not justified, as you need to learn the language, an additional barrier for you to sustain.

Business studies are mostly offered in private universities.
Tips: Getting jobs doesn't depend only on university. It also depends on the individual, his background, and the field to work in in the future. I got no scholarships, I have not tried. But some people with extra ordinary achievements or good grades have got scholarships. I worked part-time when I was a student and improved my German and that's the main reason why I got the job. So, German will always be No.1 for me. But many people have got English jobs, so it's all about applying for the right job at the right moment.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): If one wishes to settle here, then there are numerous choices available. I am not yet sure whether I wish to settle permanently in this country or not because it has been almost 4 years since then. But over time, one may opt for other alternatives that present themselves. PR would be an ideal choice if one does not want to be a citizen of this country.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Very few companies, to my knowledge. But there are definitely some companies that want to sponsor the visa for work. Job roles and salary depend on whether the candidate has experience abroad or not in a similar field. German language is also an important aspect when it comes to a job. Internships and working as a student during studies are an excellent way to get into German companies and also gain exposure.

Its a good college in a very job friendly region.
Tips: Look, the biggest thing you have to swallow about SRH Heidelberg is the price tag. It’s a private school, so you’ll be paying thousands in tuition fees while students at Germany’s public universities pay virtually zero. If cash is tight, I’d honestly tell you to double-check public alternatives first before locking yourself into a heavy contract. If you do go ahead with SRH, do not just burn through your savings or rely on family money. Start hunting for external funding straight away—check the DAAD database (Stipendienlotse), apply for the Deutschlandstipendium, or ask admissions directly about any fee waivers or merit discounts they have. Also, don't expect the university to drop a job in your lap. Their Career Service and JobTeaser portal give you a basic starting point, but finding a Werkstudent gig or a post-grad job comes down to your own hustle. You'll need to cold-apply on company career sites, polish your LinkedIn, and network hard across local companies in the Rhine-Neckar region.
