Master of Business Administration (MBA) Project Management - Batch of 2026
4.1
Diversified, experienced and innovative teaching methods.
Tips: Students should familiarize themselves with the college's academic culture, campus resources, and the support systems available, such as counseling and student organizations. Transitioning to a new environment can be a mix of excitement and challenges. For me, the cultural shift involved adapting to new social norms, understanding different educational systems, and adjusting to the local way of life. Initially, there might have been some challenges, like language barriers or unfamiliarity with the local customs, but over time, it became easier with the help of supportive peers, faculty, and the community. Try to explore and socialise with people as it will help you to adjust well. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

Growth, diversity, and opportunity at Dublin Business School.
Tips: Before joining Dublin Business School, students should know that DBS is located in the heart of Dublin, which is a vibrant and multicultural city. However, living in the city centre can be expensive, so students should budget carefully for accommodation, food, and transportation. The MBA in Project Management is intensive and requires strong time management skills. Be prepared for group projects, presentations, and case studies. DBS has a diverse student population, which is a great opportunity to network and learn about different cultures. However, it may take time to adjust to the cultural differences and teaching styles. Transitioning to life in Dublin and studying at DBS has been a rewarding experience, but it did come with some adjustments. The Irish culture is warm and welcoming, but there were some differences in communication style and social norms. The weather in Dublin can be unpredictable, with frequent rain and cold temperatures. Investing in good-quality rain gear and warm clothing is essential. The diverse student community at DBS made it easier to connect with people from different backgrounds. Joining student clubs and attending social events helped me build a network and feel more at home. I availed of a scholarship of 1,000 at the time of fee payment. This scholarship was offered to students who paid their full tuition fees in one instalment. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience at Dublin Business School, my course, and living in Ireland.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is highly efficient, well-connected, and convenient for students and residents alike. The city offers a variety of public transport options, including buses, trams, and trains, which make it easy to commute to and from the campus, explore the city, and travel to nearby areas. The frequency and reliability of these services are impressive, and the affordability of student fares makes it an excellent option for those on a budget. Dublin Business School (DBS) is very well connected to the rest of the city. The campus is located in the heart of Dublin, close to key transport hubs like Dawson Street, St. Stephen's Green, and Trinity College. This central location ensures that students can easily access public transportation options, making it convenient to travel to and from the campus. Whether you live in the city centre or in the suburbs, getting to DBS is straightforward and hassle-free.
Dislikes (Indian Food): While there are a few Indian restaurants and grocery stores in Dublin, the variety and authenticity of Indian cuisine are somewhat limited compared to what I'm used to back home. The flavour and spices in the dishes often feel toned down to suit local taste, which can be disappointing for someone craving authentic Indian food. I prefer cooking myself most of the time. It's more cost-effective, as eating out in Dublin can be quite expensive, especially for a student budget. However, I do enjoy eating outside occasionally, particularly when I want to try new cuisines or socialize with friends. Cooking at home gives me the flexibility to experiment with recipes and maintain a healthier diet, which is important to me.

Dublin Business School does not provide any internship or part-time opportunities.
Tips: Students should also be aware of the need to cover the costs of tuition and where the school is. This is important because the college doesn’t do anything to help you get a job once you’ve graduated. This includes not giving you any job advice or resources and failing to help with scholarship opportunities. There’s not much you can do except apply online on your own and hope to get a job on LinkedIn, but it’s very hard to get a scholarship, so I'm not satisfied with this school. It does not offer the top-notch education you would expect from a college. Transportation in the city centre is very good, and there is a bus every two or three minutes. Also, it's very affordable to get around because I can use the Lipcard. Student rates are 1 euro per hour, so it's easy on the wallet, too.
Dislikes (Internships): We can't find internships because of faculty issues. They aren't able to provide any opportunities, so they told us we need to find them. We're not getting much help from them. A lot of people are still looking for part-time work and internships. It seems like the only thing some students do is work in a store, so getting a job after an MBA in business doesn't seem very easy.

The faculty is good. The teaching methodology is unique as it focuses more on critical thinking.
Tips: Students should have a deep analysis regarding their course. They should go through each lesson of their modules so that it will help them in making a timetable. The faculty is good. They will explain the complete modules. They have a positive approach, so they are willing to help students. They will clear your doubts about your assignment, and they will provide individual feedback. In addition, their teaching methodology is unique as it focuses more on critical thinking. Mostly we spend the day in college by completing assignments and attending lectures. The college has various clubs and communities for the students. Apart from this, there are sports events as well for sports like badminton, etc. The events are good and engaging. I did not apply for any scholarships. Therefore, there was no tuition fee allowance.

Affordability for a change.
Tips: If you are interested in studying in Ireland, you should find out if your course is considered a critical skill under the government guidelines. This can enhance your chances of securing employment in high-demand industries and potentially extend your stay if you are interested in long-term opportunities. This college is the only affordable option for Indian students seeking quality education without overwhelming financial burdens. It provides a unique opportunity to access world-class resources, academic excellence, and cultural diversity at a cost that aligns with the budget of many Indian families. With a strong focus on affordability and value, this institution stands out as a gateway for students aspiring to achieve their academic and career goals while minimizing expenses.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time job opportunities are currently limited due to a shrinking market. This trend is influenced by economic factors, changes in demand, and shifting employment priorities across industries. Individuals seeking part-time work may need to explore alternative options, consider upskilling, or expand their job search to less traditional roles to improve their chances of finding opportunities during this period of reduced availability.

Easy going and budget friendly campus.
Tips: I've experienced a cultural shift since coming here. I'm from southern India, and the culture here is entirely different. But it's not a problem; we can enjoy it. I didn't receive any scholarships so far. I love my university and course; it's very easy to study and acquire a Master's degree within one year.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is located within Dublin City, but some buildings are relatively far apart. We can use buses, trains, and Luas services for transportation, which are all affordable and convenient. However, buses often get stuck in traffic during the winter.
Dislikes (Part time work): In my experience, on-campus part-time jobs are very rare. Off-campus part-time opportunities are available, but they are difficult to find. It is manageable to balance part-time work and academics. I earned 13.5 euros per hour and worked 20 hours a week.
