DCU: An academically driven and inclusive learning environment.
Tips: Students should be prepared for a rigorous but rewarding academic experience. The transition to Ireland was smooth, with some cultural difference, but the university provides excellent support to help students settled in. I received a merit-based scholarship, which helped reduce my tuition feels and ease the financial burden. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of education, campus life, and career opportunities available here.
Likes (Safety): Student life at DCU is vibrant and inclusive. There are numerous opportunities to socialize, learn new skills, and participate in cultural and sports activities. A typical day includes lectures, group study sessions, and time at the library. DCU organizes career fair, cultural nights, workshops, and hackathons regularly.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The faculty members are very knowledgeable and bring a lot of real work experience into their teaching. The faculty in my department is very approachable. They are always available during office hours and respond promptly to emails. The teaching staff is quite diverse, with professors from different parts of the world, including Europe, Asian, and North America.

DCU: A friendly and supportive university with global opportunities.
Tips: Students should know at DCU offers great opportunities and a welcoming environment. It's important to be a proactive and get involved in student activities. The cultural shift was manageable, and support services helped me to adjust. I received a partial merit-based scholarship, which helped me with the tuition. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the university, course, and the country.
Likes (Value for money): Student life at DCU is exciting and well balanced. My day includes attending lectures, working on group projects, and spending time in the library. DCU organizes career fair, cultural festivals, sports events, and workshops regularly. There are a variety of clubs, including sports teams, cultural societies, and academic groups.

No attendance, good online study portal, and fair grading system.
Tips: No attendance, going to college is optional which is a big plus. Good online study portal to access all the study material. All classroom lecture recordings are uploaded by lecturers and are available by the EOD on the online study portal and there is a fair marking system for assignments.
Likes (Safety): It is a good and safe university to study. However, the surrounding areas are very unsafe to live in. I would suggest upcoming students research more about the unsafe places in Dubin and get accommodation in good areas. Teenagers are causing a big problem in Ireland mainly in a few areas of Dublin. Some mob will come hit you and may cause you severe injuries, but still, you may not get help from anybody including the government and they won't even get punished by law. So choose a good area to live in and travel by bus and with friends mostly.
Dislikes (Internships): We have to apply to companies for internships or jobs. University won't bring any companies like how it happens in India. Some companies will come to the college to advertise their companies and during that time if there are any relevant companies we can ask them and check if there are any jobs available. If yes we have to apply through their company's careers page.

DCU is diverse and student friendly college.
Tips: I don’t have any scholarships, but the country is great, and the university is also very friendly for international students. I have definitely noticed a cultural shift, but there are also many international students in the country, which is great. There are 100 clubs here, with very little payment required to participate, and student life is very good, and the clubs are good. Many students are involved and there are clubs that have an equal emphasis on both domestic and international students. This is a great opportunity for the students here. Overall, I am satisfied and enjoying my time here.
Dislikes (Internships): Dublin City University is really good. The teaching faculty members are good and helpful. I like the library here and the students' access for multiple reasons. Plus, it's great for learning. The teaching methods are great and are very helpful for learning, even for students who have a hard time studying.

A supportive, diverse, and career-focused university experience.
Tips: Dublin City University (DCU) offers a dynamic and supportive environment for students. Prospective students should review specific programme requirements and course structures to ensure alignment with their academic goals. The university boasts modern facilities, including advanced laboratories, extensive libraries, and recreational centers, enhancing both academic and extracurricular experiences. DCU offers on-campus housing options. It's advisable to apply early due to limited availability. Off-campus accommodation are also accessible in Dublin, providing various living arrangements. There are a lot of student clubs or communities, like archery, badminton, basketball, cricket, and cycling clubs. At DCU, students balance their academics with extracurricular activities. Club meetings, society events, and campus facilities, like the sports complex, enrich the college experience. Many students find the college experience enriching as they explore new interests in their chosen clubs. DCU organizes many events throughout the year, including drama productions by the drama society, with the DCU Musical being a highlight. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Safety): Dublin City University provides many ways to keep students safe. It has a dedicated security team on duty 24/7 to ensure student safety and respond to emergencies. There is also extensive CCTV monitoring. The university has the SafeZone app, which lets students quickly contact campus security if they need help. Finally, the walkways are well-lit at night, which provides extra safety to students.

Good university with great teaching programs.
Tips: Get ready to study harder and face the challenges. Get involved in class, make more grinders, and enjoy. Attend college events and register for the new events happening in the college. The courses are great and you will get help from lecturers when needed. It is very hard to get a part-time job without a reference. You will see a lot of rejections, and it's hard to find new jobs. Racism is high, and people are quite rude in Dublin. Be careful when meeting young teenagers on the road. However, it's the best option for anyone looking to live there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The amount of food available is limited, and the cost is high, so we have little money left to spend. We eat at a handful of restaurants and shop at the expensive Asian stores. So, groceries and transport are where our money goes. We get hungry, but there is not enough food for everyone. I wish there were more places to eat.
