Excellent for student life.
Tips: I was not happy with the hot Indian weather in Mumbai, and the first thing I really enjoyed about Ireland was the weather. I was given a scholarship of 6400 euros for my course, and it was sent with the offer letter. Student life is excellent in DCU. There's a lovely atmosphere, lovely people, lots of parks nearby, lots of student societies to be part of, activities like swimming, biking, rock climbing, archery clubs, and so much more. And I've been here for over six months, and I haven't experienced any racism yet. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd say 4 for the satisfaction level of both the course and the country.
Dislikes (Internships): Internships are available, but due to a lot of demand, only a limited people can get the opportunity to work as an intern. I believe in the field of commerce and sales, getting an internship won't be as difficult as getting one here in electronics and computer technology.

It's been an amazing and roller coaster journey.
Tips: Dublin City University offers a truly enriching academic experience, especially for international students. Before joining, students should be aware that the university places a strong emphasis on independent learning, critical thinking, and active participation in class discussions. It's important to stay disciplined and manage time well, as coursework can be demanding but rewarding. Dublin City University has an excellent faculty. They have a deep subject knowledge, industry experience and genuine interest in student success. The lectures in the M.Sc. Finance programmes don't just teach from textbooks, and they actively related concepts to current events market trends and real world case studies, which adds immense value to our learning.
Likes (Public transportation): A typical day for me includes attending lectures, group discussions at the library, and catching up with classmates at the students' canteen. What I enjoy most is the balance between academic work and social life. The environment is relaxed yet motivating, and it's easy to make friends from different cultures.

No attendance, good online study portal, and fair grading system.
Tips: No attendance, going to college is optional which is a big plus. Good online study portal to access all the study material. All classroom lecture recordings are uploaded by lecturers and are available by the EOD on the online study portal and there is a fair marking system for assignments.
Likes (Safety): It is a good and safe university to study. However, the surrounding areas are very unsafe to live in. I would suggest upcoming students research more about the unsafe places in Dubin and get accommodation in good areas. Teenagers are causing a big problem in Ireland mainly in a few areas of Dublin. Some mob will come hit you and may cause you severe injuries, but still, you may not get help from anybody including the government and they won't even get punished by law. So choose a good area to live in and travel by bus and with friends mostly.
Dislikes (Internships): We have to apply to companies for internships or jobs. University won't bring any companies like how it happens in India. Some companies will come to the college to advertise their companies and during that time if there are any relevant companies we can ask them and check if there are any jobs available. If yes we have to apply through their company's careers page.

DCU: An academically driven and inclusive learning environment.
Tips: Students should be prepared for a rigorous but rewarding academic experience. The transition to Ireland was smooth, with some cultural difference, but the university provides excellent support to help students settled in. I received a merit-based scholarship, which helped reduce my tuition feels and ease the financial burden. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality of education, campus life, and career opportunities available here.
Likes (Safety): Student life at DCU is vibrant and inclusive. There are numerous opportunities to socialize, learn new skills, and participate in cultural and sports activities. A typical day includes lectures, group study sessions, and time at the library. DCU organizes career fair, cultural nights, workshops, and hackathons regularly.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The faculty members are very knowledgeable and bring a lot of real work experience into their teaching. The faculty in my department is very approachable. They are always available during office hours and respond promptly to emails. The teaching staff is quite diverse, with professors from different parts of the world, including Europe, Asian, and North America.

DCU: A friendly and supportive university with global opportunities.
Tips: Students should know at DCU offers great opportunities and a welcoming environment. It's important to be a proactive and get involved in student activities. The cultural shift was manageable, and support services helped me to adjust. I received a partial merit-based scholarship, which helped me with the tuition. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the university, course, and the country.
Likes (Value for money): Student life at DCU is exciting and well balanced. My day includes attending lectures, working on group projects, and spending time in the library. DCU organizes career fair, cultural festivals, sports events, and workshops regularly. There are a variety of clubs, including sports teams, cultural societies, and academic groups.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The faculty at DCU are experts in their fields, bringing both academic knowledge and industry experience into the classroom. Faculty members are very approachable. The department emphasis practical learning through live projects, internships, and group assignments.

Good university with great teaching programs.
Tips: Get ready to study harder and face the challenges. Get involved in class, make more grinders, and enjoy. Attend college events and register for the new events happening in the college. The courses are great and you will get help from lecturers when needed. It is very hard to get a part-time job without a reference. You will see a lot of rejections, and it's hard to find new jobs. Racism is high, and people are quite rude in Dublin. Be careful when meeting young teenagers on the road. However, it's the best option for anyone looking to live there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): The amount of food available is limited, and the cost is high, so we have little money left to spend. We eat at a handful of restaurants and shop at the expensive Asian stores. So, groceries and transport are where our money goes. We get hungry, but there is not enough food for everyone. I wish there were more places to eat.
