The Dublin City University was founded as an Irish based public research university in Dublin. It was founded in 1975 and has five campuses in total, namely Glasnevin Campus, St. Patrick's Campus, All-Hallows Campus, DCU Alpha, and the DCU Sports Campus. At Dublin City University campus, students can choose from 37 sports clubs, from indoor to outdoor and adventure to watersports. To encourage its student-athletes, the university also provides the DCU Scholarship for sports and COA Points Concession programmes. The university's accommodation blocks are located across three campuses with good connectivity.
