Applicants with a Second Class Honours Grade II in a primary honours degree (NFQ, Level 8), but with proven experience in an area of Geoinformatics, or with equivalent qualifications in related areas of science and technology, can be considered under Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for a place following interview and/or written or practical assessment by the programme team of the MSc in Geoinformatics
- Applicants must have Bachelor of Arts / Science / Commerce / Professional Bachelor Degree where first division is awarded at 60%, a grade of 66-74% is equivalent to a 2H1. Where first division is awarded at 65%, a grade of 70-79% is equivalent to a 2H1
- Minimum CGPA of 7.5 on a 10 point scale
- Minimum CGPA 3.2 on a 4 point scale
- Indian applicants will normally be required to achieve a first class/first division mark in their undergraduate programme at a good institution of higher education in India. At the discretion of academic departments, students with degrees awarded by top universities such as the University of Mumbai, University of Delhi, University of Calcutta, and the University of Pune, may be accepted with high second class/high second division marks
- Indian applicants with degrees awarded by any Indian Institute of Technology should contact the International Office regarding specific entry requirements
